mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/01/aliens-whats-in-a-name/ Aliens: What’s In A Name?by Nick Redfern / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/nredfern/ January 13, 2019 Whitley Strieber’s 1987 best-selling book, Communion, brought the world of alien abductions to a massive, mainstream audience. During the course of investigating his experiences that prompted him to write Communion, Strieber discovered something intriguing: that the name “Aura Rhanes” – an alleged human-like alien encountered by a man named Truman Bethurum in 1952 – was extremely similar to “Aerach Reann,” a Gaelic term that translates approximately to “heavenly body of air.” It must be said that the fashion by which Bethurum became entranced by Aura Rhanes (“tops in shapeliness and beauty” was how smitten Bethurum described her) mirrors those centuries-old cases of hapless and helpless men falling under the spell of the fairy queen. Strieber pursued this Gaelic issue. In the same time-frame that Truman Bethurum was under the hypnotic spell of Aura Rhanes, a controversial man named George Adamski claimed encounters with human-like extraterrestrials in the deserts of California. There’s no doubt that Adamski was, and still is, the ultimate Contactee – regardless of what one might make of his claimed experiences with the long-haired, human-looking “Space Brothers,” as he termed them. What is particularly interesting is that one of Adamski’s alleged brothers from the stars was named Firkon. Strieber says of this: “Fir or fear when used as a prefix means ‘man,’ and Conn, meaning ‘Head,’ is the name of a seventh-century Irish king whose son, tradition tells us, was abducted by a beautiful lady in a flying craft. Firkon means, in Gaelic, ‘man of Conn.’” Then there are the experiences of a young man named Bob Renaud. On one particular night in July 1961, Renaud picked up an extraordinary message while “browsing around the shortwave bands” in his small, Massachusetts town. It began with a series of bleeps but was soon replaced by a female voice, which later identified herself as Linn-Erri from the planet Korendor. As was the case in so many Contactee-themed cases of the 1950s and 1960s, Renaud had repeated and extensive chats with his newfound alien friends, many of which were focused on the aliens’ fears that we, the Human Race, were on the verge of destroying ourselves. Also closely following the trend of so many Contactees, Linn-Erri and her comrades took Renaud on trips to secret, alien installations, and taught him to create complex machines, one of which was somewhat akin to an old-style television set. It reportedly allowed Renaud to see Linn-Erri in the flesh, so to speak. She was, said Renaud, a ravishing blond, who looked to be about nineteen years of age, but who claimed to be closer to her mid-seventies – in human years. It’s not unreasonable to suggest that this could all have been provoked by nothing stranger than the late night, hormone-driven fantasies of a young man run wild. But, as with the equally controversial saga of Truman Bethurum, there is something that makes Bob Renaud’s story intriguing, as Strieber states in his work. Strieber notes that the aliens’ alleged home planet, Korendor, is very similar to a Gaelic term that Strieber described as “a place of oracle.” Betty Andreasson is someone who has had a lifetime of profound interaction with other-world entities and whose encounters caught the attention of Strieber. On one occasion in the 1960s, when Andreasson was deep in channeling-style conversation with a small, large-headed alien being named Quaazga, a curious statement was made to Andreasson in a language that she could not understand. One person did understand it, however: a man named Leonard Keane. Listening to audio-recordings of Andreasson relating the statement word for word, he concluded the alien was speaking in a form of ancient Gaelic, which translated to the following: “The living descendants of the Northern Peoples are groping in universal darkness. Their mother mourns. A dark occasion forebodes when weakness in high places will revive a high cost of living, an interval of mistakes in high places, an interval fit for distressing events.” Coincidence or something more? mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/04/an-extraterrestrial-presence-or-unknown-people/ An Extraterrestrial Presence or Unknown People?by Nick Redfern / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/nredfern/ April 5, 2019 The late Mac Tonnies told me only a couple of months before his death: “After devouring countless books on the UFO controversy and the paranormal, I began to acknowledge that the extraterrestrial hypothesis suffered [from] some tantalizing flaws. In short, the ‘aliens’ seemed more like surreal caricatures of ourselves than beings possessing the god-like technology one might plausibly expect from interstellar visitors. I came to the realization that the extraterrestrial hypothesis isn’t strange enough to encompass the entirety of occupant cases.” It was this same realization which made Tonnies look elsewhere. Not to the stars. Not to the galaxies. And not to the world around us. Rather, to the world directly and deeply below us. The theory Tonnies developed was that, perhaps, some of the intelligences behind the UFO phenomenon are not extraterrestrial or inter-dimensional, as many assume or believe them to be, after all. He called them the Cryptoterrestrials. Rather, he was following the idea that the so-called “Grays” and many of the other bizarre humanoid creatures seen and presumed to have alien origins, were from right here, on Earth. Tonnies offered the theory that his aliens of the terrestrial variety are, actually, a very ancient and advanced body of people. They are closely related to us, and have lived alongside us in secret – deep underground – for countless millennia. And, perhaps in fortified mountains too, not unlike the U.S. military’s Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station in Colorado Springs, Colorado, which exists under 2,000-feet of granite. Tonnies added to me: “If we’re dealing with humanoid beings that evolved here on Earth, some of the problems vanish. I envision the Cryptoterrestrials engaged in a process of subterfuge, bending our belief systems to their own ends. And I suggest that this has been occurring, in one form or another, for an extraordinarily long time. I think there’s a good deal of folkloric and mythological evidence pointing in this direction, and I find it most interesting that so many descriptions of ostensible ‘aliens’ seem to reflect staged events designed to misdirect witnesses and muddle their perceptions.” Tonnies offered me the following, too, on the matter of what have become known as Contactees – those to whom the very human-looking aliens of the 1950s and 1960s appeared. Tonnies noted to me of these extremely human-looking entities: “Commentators regularly assume that all the Contactees were lying or else delusional. But if we’re experiencing a staged reality, some of the beings encountered by the Contactees might have been real; and the common messages of universal brotherhood could have been a sincere attempt to curb our destructive tendencies. The extraterrestrial guise would have served as a prudent disguise, neatly misdirecting our attention and leading us to ask the wrong questions; which we’re still asking with no substantial results.” As for why the cryptoterrestrials opted to head and dwell deep underground – when they had the entire planet above them on which to reside – it may have been due to nothing less than critical, panic-filled necessity provoked by war, suggested Tonnies. In eras long gone, and faced with irradiated landscapes, flattened cities, and untold millions dead, heading deep below the surface of the planet may have been the only way for the survivors to continue to live on, he suggested. The deadly fall-out – coupled with the “every man for himself”-style carnage that was undoubtedly breaking out among the ragged, sick survivors of the wars who stayed topside – would be a dark but vital incentive to stay way below the surface. And, maybe they chose to remain there permanently, rather than one day surfacing to reclaim the territory that was once theirs. Until, that is, they destroyed it. In addition, Tonnies theorized that in today’s world the cryptoterrestrials may well be declining, in terms of both their numbers and their health. He mused on the possibility that this may be due to continuing genetic issues provoked by the effects of ancient atomic wars. If, one day, we resort to the unthinkable, and global, atomic war erupts all around us, the after-effects – massive death and destruction, the onset of a so-called “nuclear winter,” and the terrible toll that radiation poisoning would wreak upon the straggling survivors – would ensure recovery would likely take not just centuries. It would probably take thousands of years. Far more likely, however, our civilization would never recover. It would be largely erased from the planet and, eventually, from memory, too. Instead, we would eventually see the birth of a new, savage and primitive civilization – one far smaller than ours in size and scope, probably almost completely lacking in technology, and filled with stunted, illiterate, sick people possessing nothing but legend-like memories of the mysterious people who came before them and who suddenly vanished in a violent, fiery, planet-wide Armageddon. Namely, us. And, with the progression of time, those memories would almost certainly fragment to the point where, eventually, we would become like the Atlanteans – nothing but the fabled inhabitants of a fantastically advanced society that most people believe to be little more than folklore and mythology. Tonnies also suggested that the cryptoterrestrials might make use of a great deal of subterfuge, camouflage and deception to try and ensure they appear far more in advance of us, when – in reality, today – they may not be struggling to hang onto their society and their ailing health. Mac Tonnies also had a very interesting theory as to why our supposed aliens – who may well have been his cryptoterrestrials – constantly warn abductees and contactees that we should not destroy, or pollute, our planet. Let’s face it, why would extraterrestrials from countless light-years away care even in the slightest about our small, insignificant world, about what we decide to do with it, and about our massive atomic arsenals? A most reasonable argument could be made that they wouldn’t care. Why should they? If, however, some of them are actually cryptoterrestrials who – due to circumstances beyond both their and our control – are forced to secretly share the planet with us, then their need to see the Earth preserved wouldn’t just be a wish or a desire. It would, for their continued survival, be an overwhelming necessity – even if they dwell deep below the planet’s surface. They would be all too well aware of the terrible mistakes they made thousands of years ago. Therefore, they would also know how important it would be to try and ensure we don’t follow their mistake-filled path. In that sense, their seeming concern for us is actually a concern for them. And, considering what they may have gone through in the distant past, they could hardly be blamed for that. Such theories are most assuredly not new ones: tales, stories, myths and legends of advanced, humanoid entities living deep below the planet’s surface have circulated not just for decades or hundreds of years, but for thousands of years. Of course, there’s nothing new about tales and theories of ancient “underground civilizations.” Mac Tonnies just brought the scenario to a new audience in a new era. mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/04/an-extraterrestrial-presence-or-unknown-people/

THIS, is a little bit closer to my “theory of the great forgetting” 😉😁.
I’m not quite ready to put into more words, just exactly what I am thinking..... 🙄.
It has a “basis” in several stories floating out there; that even Hollowwood touches on.
The movie “black panther” for one. Could a society as a whole decide that they didnt want to share their technology with an entire planet? Of course we would paint it as more sinister than that movie does.... kind of like we wonder what the “elite” on this planet are up to....😲
I also - vaguely- remember a story told by Karla Turner, about an individual who met both the “good” and bad sides of a seeming underground society.
I have not had the pleasure of reading Tom Delongs book “secret machines”, but the title sounds interesting.
I recently mentioned the movie “us”. It’s doppleganger theory was beyond creepy, and totally unbelievable. Just what WOULD we do with “clones” of ourselves?
“The Forgetting” is not a new idea.
It can be as random as - say- time travelers who leave a tool behind on one of their trips. Only to be located by archeologists much later. 😉
Right now, this second, I can’t even recall of who brought up the idea of the MIB carrying around some device, them pointing it at you, and ........
I’m thinking that Bender just threw away his stuff and quit talking about it.

www.phantomsandmonsters.com/2020/05/unknown-little-children-entities-visit.htmlSunday, May 17, 2020 Unknown 'Little Children' Entities Visit Elderly Navajo WomanAn elderly Navajo woman describes visits by 'little children' to her reservation home. Are these entities alien or something else?Posted by Lon Strickler / I received the following account several years ago: “I live in the northwest part of New Mexico and during the summer of 1992, I heard the weirdest story ever. My grandmother, being Navajo, lives about an hour south from where I live. It’s a quiet and isolated part of the Navajo reservation. There's no running water, no electricity, no utilities whatsoever. I used to travel there on weekends to check up on my grandmother and my mother. One summer weekend, we took my grandmother over to her older sister's house to check on her, and haul water and bring her some much needed supplies. My grandma’s sister is the oldest and lives alone in a two room house. The entry of the house is used as a living-room and a kitchen. The bedroom is another room and separated by a wall adjacent to the kitchen. She is very old fashioned and has no electronics and is isolated from the rest of the world. She does not speak English and only speaks Navajo. Her only advanced technology is an old AM radio and a D-cell flashlight. When we arrived, she told us the strangest story. She said that one night she woke up and her room was totally lit up. She said it was like the sun came up and she thought she overslept. The lady is awake before the sun is up and she usually does her morning prayers before the sun is up so she was somewhat distressed that she had slept in that long. She said that she sat up in her bed and started to walk into her kitchen. Then all of a sudden it went dark. It gets dark on the reservation, so dark that most times you can't even see your hand in front of your face. She was startled and went back to bed. A few nights later, she was awakened by the dishes in her kitchen banging together. She said that her room was lit up again just like before. She said the sun came up and she got up to investigate what was making the noise. As she walked towards the doorway, she heard a little child run across the doorway. She was surprised and when she got to the doorway, she saw the little children run and hide from her. She got upset and grabbed her broom. When she grabbed her broom, it darkened again. Everything was quiet and dark. No little children in sight. She was upset and wanted to know what was going on. She asked us if we had any information on what was going on and why in her house. She thought it was skinwalkers using their witchcraft on her but she couldn’t explain what was going on. In the back of my mind, I was thinking she was being visited by aliens. She’s never talked like this before and how can she accurately describe an alien grey? She said that they were very small, grey and had a large head. She’s had no interaction with the outside world nor does she have any idea what an alien is. A week went by and we were concerned for her and went back for the following weekend. She said that the little children visited her again. This time, she said, she just covered her head with a blanket and lay quietly in bed. She said that they were in her room digging around. When they were by her bed, she coughed and they left the room and continued to dig around in the kitchen. They dug around and then they left. I don't know why they were visiting her and what they were looking for. After mentioning these incidents to the rest of the family, it was decided to take her to a senior care home. She never talked about her visitors again. There are numerous sightings on the reservation. I’ve also seen strange lights. I wonder what these 'little children' were?” NN www.phantomsandmonsters.com/2020/05/unknown-little-children-entities-visit.html

www.ufoinsight.com/the-1971-virginia-giant-occupant-case/ The 1971 Virginia “Giant” Occupant Case May 27th, 2019 Written by: Marcus Lowth The “Virginia Giant” incident from the early summer of 1971 is actually a case of two separate encounters in the same rural surroundings of the small town of Fredericksburg, Virginia. In fact, although the sightings were two completely separate encounters, they would involve several members of the same family. What’s more, although they are indirect connections, there is some evidence to suggest the incident, like many other UFO encounters, has a connection to the Bigfoot sightings which are dotted around the United States in several hotspots, including in the northeast of America. Whether there is such a connection with this particular case is open to debate. However, what isn’t is the fact that several bizarre encounters took place around the United States during the same time frame in May 1971. That alone should open the door to further examination. We should note that there are several sources available (online) of this account. And while each one sticks to the same basic account, some of the smaller details differ. We have, given it was the original source of the incident, remained loyal to the NICAP account.

www.ufoinsight.com/ufos/cover-ups/unknown-american-technician The Strange Account Of The Unknown American Technician July 18th, 2020 by: Marcus Lowth We recently looked at the accounts of Daniel Leger, who would claim an encounter with a mysterious woman during the Second World War, who appeared to have arrived here from somewhere else in the Universe. UFO Rail As fascinating as that account is, it is an apparent trivial piece of information in relation to another other-worldly encounter over a decade later, and across the Atlantic Ocean, in the United States that is of interest here. In fact, as we will look at later, there are several intriguing details that come up in many such encounters. This allows us to put together, in theory, what the make-up and abilities of these apparent space-ships might be. The following account was most recently brought to the public by respected UFO researcher, Timothy Good, in his 1998 book, Alien Base – The Evidence For Extra-Terrestrial Colonization Of Earth. www.coasttocoastam.com/article/security-camera-films-small-humanoids/ Security Camera Films Small Humanoids?September 23, 2020 ByTim Binnall / www.coasttocoastam.com/pages/tim-binnall/A strange piece of home security camera footage circulating online appears to show a pair of bipedal humanoid creatures lurking in the driveway of a home in Texas. The curious video was reportedly filmed outside of a residence in Dallas late last month and was posted to Reddit this week by the bewildered homeowner who was hoping that someone could identify the oddities. In the footage, the diminutive 'visitors' can be seen seemingly scurrying around on two feet at the end of a driveway before disappearing behind a car. Some observers online have suggested that the anomalous forms could be small humanoid creatures which exist in the folklore of cultures around the world. Known as a Chaneque in Mexico, a Tukoloshe in Zimbabwe, and a Puckwudgie among some Native American tribes, these mysterious dwarf-like beings exist in a realm somewhere between cryptozoology and the spirit world with many legends ascribing sinister motives to the entities. Meanwhile, skeptical viewers have offered a more down-to-Earth explanation for what was filmed by the security camera by arguing that the creatures are probably just birds hopping around in the driveway late at night. Others have suggested that the anomalies are, in fact, merely a CGI creation and that the puzzling footage is simply a clever hoax. What's your take on the weird video? In the video, a strange human figure can be seen strolling down the road. The video was apparently recorded on the Chadwa Dam bridge in the Hazaribagh district by some bikers. A very strange piece of footage from India shows an eerie humanoid figure wandering down a road and some people suspect that the entity could be an alien. According to a local media report, the bizarre scene unfolded this past Saturday evening in the community of Hazaribagh. In the video, a tall pale figure with unusually long limbs is illuminated by headlights as it slowly walks down a road seemingly unfazed by the attention of witnesses, one of whom calls the mysterious stranger a witch. Upon being posted online over the weekend, the video spread like wildlife on social media in India with many viewers theorizing that the figure was an extraterrestrial or perhaps a ghost. More skeptical observers argued that the 'supernatural creature' was merely a prank of some sort. The furor over the footage was considerable enough that local authorities were asked about the incident, but they indicated that no one had filed any reports concerning the strange entity seen on the road. A full-speed, the video appears to be an animal crossing the highway at a pretty fast clip but still-frames from the video call that into question. Still frame photos show what appears to be a human head, body, and legs of a humanoid running on all fours. Proposals that the video was a fake were disproved by paranormal investigators who "checked with local authorities who "checked with local authorities who oversee the CCTVs in this area and this is not faked. They say it is genuine footage. This creature was filmed on CCTV running across a motorway in the UK in 2007." When the video first surfaced, explanations ranged from deer, squirrel, fox, cat, dog, wolf, to kangaroo (deer was ruled out pretty quickly because they do not have forward-pointing knees). www.coasttocoastam.com/article/video-alien-body-allegedly-found-in-bolivia/Video: Alien Body Allegedly Found in Bolivia
March 31, 2023 By Tim Binnall / www.coasttocoastam.com/pages/tim-binnall/A bizarre video from a village in Bolivia purportedly shows an alien body that was allegedly found following a UFO sighting. The very weird case reportedly began earlier this month in the remote community of Huarina, where residents first spotted a mysterious green light in the sky. Following the peculiar sighting, they claim that diminutive humanoids, which some likened to goblins, were seen scrambling through the streets of the village. "They were miniature beings," one witness recalled, "like those little people who appear to children." A few days later, the odd incident became even stranger when what appeared to be the body of a small figure was found in a gutter and, as one resident marveled, "the closer we got we saw that it was an alien." Fortunately for those who find the fantastic tale hard to fathom, some people on the scene managed to actually capture photos and footage (seen above) of the curious remains, which seem to resemble a miniature version of the iconic Grey alien, complete with oversized eyes. Images of the anomalous figure were subsequently sent to Bolivian ufologist Juan Carlos Aliaga, who noted that they appeared to show "this being curled up, but with little bones." Although he has pledged to investigate the case, the UFO researcher lamented that it will be something of a challenge as the peculiar remains mysteriously disappeared shortly after being discovered. What became of the suspected alien body is uncertain with some speculating that the remains were retrieved by its ET companions, while others have theorized that a well-meaning villager may given the otherworldly visitor a proper burial. Suggesting that officials in Bolivia are taking the case seriously, authorities are said to be investigating the situation and are asking residents to refrain from discussing the matter. Of course, skeptical observers will argue that the 'dead alien' is merely a well-crafted hoax on the part of someone who likely never expected it to wind up making headlines around the world. www.coasttocoastam.com/article/video-alien-body-allegedly-found-in-bolivia/

He interviewed the family who made the call - and they told him that the cops installed the camera to 'protect' them from UFO fanatics who might bother them. Despite being skeptical, Poppa, who is a podcaster, said he now believes the family is somewhat credible. A Vegas officer’s body camera picked up the object at about 11:50pm on April 30, after a resident reported something '100 percent not human' on their property, local TV channel 8 News Now reported. Approximately 39 minutes after the first call, another resident contacted 911, saying that there were two unknown entities in his backyard after he saw an object fall from the sky. 'There’s like an 8-foot person beside it and another one is inside us [sic] and it has big eyes and it’s looking at us — and it’s still there,' the homeowner told police in audio obtained by the TV channel. Mr Poppa wrote on Twitter, along with an image of the supposed cameras: 'THE VIDEO CAMERA SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM WITH THE WIRELESS TRANSMISSION LINK THAT I RECORDED AT THE HOME ON MAY 19, MUST HAVE BEEN A MIRAGE OR A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION IF THE LAS VEGAS METRO POLICE ARE TO BE BELIEVED. 'NICE INSTALL TASS (TECHNICAL AND SURVEILLANCE SQUAD).' He told NYPost: 'The mother told me they came out there and put up the cameras, supposedly to protect the family from people coming to bother them about the UFO. 'But I can tell you right now. Cops don’t come out and put up expensive video equipment up like that — and they certainly wouldn’t for someone calling in a report about a UFO.' During the initial 911 phone call about the alleged UFO and alien sighting, the caller said: 'In my backyard. I swear to God this is not a joke, this is actually — we’re terrified. 'They’re very large. They’re like 8 foot, 9 feet, 10 foot. They look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes. Like, I can’t explain it. And big mouth. They’re shiny eyes and they’re not human. They’re 100 percent not human,' he claimed. The responding officers expressed their trepidation at the odd events. 'I’m so nervous right now,' one officer can be heard telling his partner. 'I have butterflies, bro — saw a shooting star and now these people say there’s aliens in their backyard.' 'I don’t believe in it but what I saw right now, I do believe in it,' one of the reported witnesses said to police. The area of the alleged sighting was searched, and the witnesses interviewed, but no new information was found. www.coasttocoastam.com/article/watch-security-camera-films-odd-alien-strolling-across-driveway-in-texas/Watch: Security Camera Films Odd 'Alien' Strolling Across Driveway in TexasJune 27, 2022 By Tim Binnall / www.coasttocoastam.com/pages/tim-binnall/A puzzling piece of home security footage from Texas shows a mysterious bipedal figure scurrying across a driveway before disappearing into the night. The very weird scene reportedly unfolded earlier this month outside the residence of Victoria Alvarez, who lives in the community of La Union. Bewildered by what the camera overlooking her carport had filmed, she subsequently shared the video with a local TV station in the hopes of deciphering who or what the odd interloper might have been. Observers online have offered a variety of theories for the nature of the mysterious figure with some suggesting that the bipedal being could be alien in nature. Others have likened the entity to the enigmatic 'dog man' that was photographed outside the Amarillo Zoo a few weeks ago and wound up becoming something of a viral sensation. More skeptical-minded viewers, however, have argued that the 'alien' was probably just a would-be thief checking for unlocked car doors in Alvarez's neighborhood, which would explain their hasty exit from the scene. With that in mind, what's your take on the weird scene?

www.coasttocoastam.com/article/the-ubiquity-of-the-grey/The Ubiquity of the Grey
March 10, 2024 by Jeremy D. Wells / If you ask most folks to draw an alien, you know what you are going to get. Short guys. Large heads. Big eyes, that are often solid black. Reduced or non-existent nose, lips and ears. Grey skin. This is the common conception of an alien around most of the world. Or at least, it has been for the last 40 years. But that wasn't always the case. In the 1940s and 1950s, and on up through the 60s, the stereotypical alien, at least in the United States, was the "little green man from Mars," typified by his short stature, green skin, and antennae. Think the Great Gazoo from the Flintstones cartoon. But while the little green man dominated cartoon and television depictions of aliens, what those who encountered UFOnauts saw was much different. Beings with some of the features that would be associated with the "grey alien" – as we will call them – stretch back to the 1960s. But the presumed occupants of UFO craft remained a rather diverse lot up through the 1970s and 80s. A few things happened then that began to crystalize the image of the grey alien in the public mind. One of the first was the Travis Walton incident. In November 5, 1975 Travis Walton was working with a crew of other young men thinning timber near Turkey Springs, Arizona on a contract from the U.S. Forest Service. As they left the woods that evening the group saw what they described as a UFO. As they watched Walton inexplicably leapt from the moving vehicle and moved toward the craft. According to his cohorts the craft "zapped" Walton with a beam of light as he approached it. Panicking, the driver of the vehicle took off, leaving Walton behind. After calming down they returned to collect Walton, but he was nowhere to be found. They then reported the incident to the under-sherrif in Heber, Arizona, two hours after Walton was last seen. Walton didn't turn up for six days, when he called his sister from a pay telephone in Heber just after midnight on November 11. His sister and brother described him as confused and trembling on the floor of the phone booth when they fond him. His story was widely carried in the National Enquirer tabloid, and at least some of the beings he described encountering during his missing six days fit loosely into the mold of the alien grey. Travis's case divided opinion in the UFO community, with the APRO (Aerial Phenomena Research Organization) supporting the Walton story and NICAP (the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomenon) considered it a probably hoax. Regardless of how you feel about the Walton story, it was widely circulated and is considered one of the "classic" stories in the field of UFOlogy, and helped establish this new idea of what an alien looked like in the public imagination. The next big influence on the idea of the alien came with the debut of the 1977 Steven Spielberg blockbuster, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. After building an entire film's worth of suspense, the aliens needed to be something spectacular when they finally appeared, and Spielberg didn't disappoint. Spielberg's aliens weren't short. They were long and spindly, a feature that would show up a little more often in witness reports after the film's premiere. They also had another feature that would transition from the silver screen and into witness reports – solid black eyes. The reports of eyes also became much larger and slanted, to match the expectation set by Spielberg. Prior to the film witnesses to UFO activity were more likely to report eyes that were more human in the arrangeent of the iris, pupil and sclera. Though some of the Walton aliens, for example, had the short stature and oversized head of the grey, the eyes were described and depicted more like human eyes. The 1987 book Communion, by horror fiction novelist Whitley Strieber, helped cement the image of the modern grey alien with its cover image depicting a pale, black-eyed, thin-lipped, large-headed alien. By the time the X-Files rolled around in 1993, the type was set. This is what aliens looked like. Or was it? While the Close Encounter/Communion/X-Files type entities were now the default alien image in most of North America, Europe and Asia, folks in South America continued to report a wide variety of types and shapes, echoing the robots, hairy dwarves and other assorted entities that characterized the early years of the UFO phenomena. Meanwhile in the former U.S.S.R and Soviet Bloc nations, where the people were more insulated from the influence of western pop culture, the things seen emerging from UFOs were almost the complete opposite, with pin-headed giants replacing the large headed dwarves of the NATO nations and their trading partners. Dr. Jacques Vallee collects several of these stories in his excellent book, UFO Chronicles of the Soviet Union, a Cosmic Samidzat. In his other books Vallee lays out some compelling conjecture on why this just might be, detailing how the phenomenon appears to want to be seen by those who witness it and how it conforms to our expectations based on the technology and popular opinion of the era. It's why the "eccentric inventors" of the airship flap era was replaced by "advanced beings from another planet" in the space age. (It may also be why sex with aliens that looked human was replaced by the abduction for genetic research of the greys once we had our first test tube babies and regular instances of artificial insemination. But that's a subject for another article.) But why did the look of the UFOnauts change, and become more alien? Why did the human looking and acting saucer pilots of the contactees become the cold, distant, clinical greys of the abduction era? Do these changes in the phenomenon support a psychological, or psyho-social, explanation of the phenomena? Or do they support a flesh-and-blood biological origin for the UFOnauts? And how do we explain things like Roswell, which happened in the 1940s, was forgotten until the 1980s, and when it regained popularity came to include reports of aliens that looked more like the post-80s conception of an alien than the popular conception of the incident's own era? What do you think? www.coasttocoastam.com/article/the-ubiquity-of-the-grey/

exopolitics.org/contact-with-a-tall-blonde-alien-founders-space-ark-rescues-the-end-times/ Contact with Tall Blonde Alien Founders, Space Ark Rescues & the End TimesWritten by Dr Michael Salla March 28, 2024.
In 1988, Miriam Delicado had a contact experience with Tall Blonde extraterrestrials who told her they were involved in the creation of humanity and rescuing large numbers of humans at the end of different historical ages. She described the ends of the First, Second and Third Worlds where human civilizations were wiped out by cataclysms due to the dangers they posed to the planet in developing advanced technologies without the right ethical understanding. Delicado said the Tall Blondes intervened in huge spacecraft (aka space arks), to take large numbers of humans off the surface to the safety of outer space, the bottom of oceans, or Inner Earth, to wait out the cataclysmic surface events. The Tall Blondes, she pointed out, are very different to the “Tall Whites” encountered by Charles Hall at Nellis Air Force Base in the 1960s.
After her profound contact experience, Delicado was approached by Men in Black and other organizations who wanted to recruit her to different official government programs so they could better understand alien technologies. She said that the contact enhanced her psychic abilities, and she was invited by a secret Russian organization to join a psychic community, where she would be trained and be among “her kind”.
In her first Exopolitics Today interview, Miriam Delicado discusses her incredible contact experiences, the life-changing events that happened afterward. She also discusses the dangers that lie ahead as humanity enters the End Times where confusion and corruption abound, and critical thinking is compromised in ways that are very similar to the end of Atlantis. exopolitics.org/contact-with-a-tall-blonde-alien-founders-space-ark-rescues-the-end-times/

metro.co.uk/2024/03/30/will-happen-find-alien-life-20555255/So, we find aliens. What happens next?by Ollie Cole / metro.co.uk/author/ollie-cole/Published Mar 30, 2024 We’re definitely going to find aliens this year. That was the bold prediction of Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock on Jools Holland’s popular New Year’s Hootenanny. ‘I think we’re going to discover alien life next year [in 2024],’ she said. ‘There’s definitely alien life out there.’ Such a bold prediction surely raised a few eyebrows, but coming from a well-known astronomer, on one of the biggest shows of the year, it may well have caused many to sit up and take notice. The question of whether we are alone in the universe is almost as ancient as humanity itself. Now, with ongoing technological breakthroughs, expanding scientific knowledge and an ever-growing curiosity, the answer may come sooner than we think. But let’s say we do find alien life. What happens next? Surely there’s a meticulously crafted, internationally coordinated plan that will be quickly set in motion? Where experts in various fields converge to execute the next stage of a well-rehearsed protocol? With governments synchronising in a carefully orchestrated address to their respective nations telling their citizens ‘We are not alone’. Well, spoiler alert. There is no plan. Some governments and scientific bodies may have a vague idea, but nothing has been widely shared or agreed upon. So when the news does come, it will get messy. This lack of attention is a source of frustration for Nick Pope, an expert on the matter as a former civilian UFO investigator for the Ministry of Defence. ‘Frustratingly there isn’t really a plan, which is a huge mistake because it’s the ultimate low probability, high impact scenario,’ he says. ‘The easiest thing to do is try to make a joke of it and move on – and hope no one notices the fact that there is this glaring black hole in your policy that you don’t have a plan for.’ And yet while governments have contingencies for things such as pandemics and extreme weather events, a first contact event has been almost entirely overlooked. ‘This is going to deeply and profoundly impact every aspect of our lives: politics, religion, science, technology, the economy, and much more besides,’ Nick says. ‘Who announces it? What do we say? If it’s a message, do we reply? This is something that needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency.’ CONTINUE READING: metro.co.uk/2024/03/30/will-happen-find-alien-life-20555255/
