The following rules are currently in effect, but may be modified or changed at any time at the administrators discretion. By taking part in this forum, members are acknowledging that they have read and agreed to the forum rules.
Rules and Regulations
1. Please treat people with respect. When in doubt, remember the Edge of Reality Golden Rule...Treat other people the way you would like to be treated.
2. No obscene, vulgar or otherwise offensive material will be allowed. No nudity. Please keep the cursing to a minimum. Blocks have been put on some offensive words to help remind people who slip up, but remember...there may be minors present.
3. Flaming and Trolling are not allowed. No personal attacks or overly aggressive behavior will be tolerated. The same goes for insulting or name-calling. Let's try to keep these discussions civil and polite. When in doubt, review rule number one.
4. Threats or harassment, whether by posts, PMs or anything else will not be tolerated. Once again, when in doubt, refer back to rule number one.
5. Advertising or solicitation of any kind is not allowed. (This means NO SPAM!)
6. Multiple accounts are discouraged, but may be allowed at the administrators discretion. Please do not abuse the privilege.
7. Members should not plagiarize or post copyrighted material. When posting from non-original sources please provide links, as well as the author's name, if available.
8. Members should not discriminate against anybody due to race, religion, political views, gender, or any other social, ethical or other attribute. While freedom of speech is encouraged and promoted, please do not use that freedom to commit slander or otherwise offensive remarks.
9. Any violation of the rules should be reported to the moderating staff immediately. In case of a dispute, the other forum members should not attempt to take matters into their own hands. Please allow the moderators to do their job. Also, when you are dealing with a moderator or other member of the administrating staff, remember that they are people too. They are only doing their job. Please don't hold it against them.
Enforcement of the above rules, as well as any disciplinary action that needs to be taken, is entirely at the discretion of the moderating team. In the event of a dispute involving a member of the moderating team, the forum administrator will render final judgement. The forum administrator is the final authority on all forum matters.
