That's too bad sky. At least you figured out your first case.

What ever it will be it will not be. a case similar to this one..
Use wise judgement, sometimes that all we have..
I think a lot of ufo cases are going to pop up again in this area. Seem to be starting again after I read a few cases lately on the net. Not even sure where I read them.. but the thought stuck.

I'm positive we're going to have a big surge of sightings this year but not so many abductions any more I think. Chalk that up to just a feeling.

I have an update on Dave from my previous investigation. He is in jail again, once again for drug-related charges. He was pulled over for having no license plates on his car (that he had just bought) and in the ensuing search of the vehicle the officer found a bag of marijuana in the glove compartment. Dave was still on probation from his last arrest too. How many times does it take before he learns his lesson? I wonder if he thinks that aliens arrested him.

The Abominable Snow...Man
Not often does an investigator get a chance to make an amazing discovery. Most days pass by without so much as a single UFO landing in my backyard, or even one solitary alien being ringing my doorbell. In fact, most of my days are pretty boring, with nothing more than the usual swamp gas and weather balloons to chase after. Because of this, when something resembling an amazing discovery does come along, any worthwhile investigator has to be ready to make the most of it. I almost had my chance today.
I was driving down the highway just west of the city of Chicago, which is still digging itself out from last week's blizzard, when something unusual caught my eye. Off to my right was a large field full of snow. That by itself is not so unusual, and neither is the fact that there was another large field of snow next to the first one. Actually, there were probably enough snow-covered fields to start a new Ice Age, or at least a Snow Age. What is unusual is that out in the middle of all of that snow was what appeared to be an abominable snowman!
It was a large, bipedal creature with a big, bulky body that was completely white from head to toe. It was taking long strides, like abominable snowmen are said to take, and was swinging its arms in a pronounced way that made me think it looked like an abominable snowman. What else would be marching through a field full of snow in the middle of nowhere in sub-freezing temperatures?
Before I could ponder the question of why the abominable snowman had taken up residence in upstate Illinois I decided to pull over and investigate. After all, I am supposed to be an investigator. What else should I have done...continue driving and miss the chance to make an amazing discovery? Ha! Not going to happen!
I quickly whipped over to the side of the road and parked my truck in the snow. I grabbed my binoculars and leaped out, landing in a pile of snow. I tried to move closer to the creature to get a better look but I accidentally stepped in the ditch and fell face-first in the snow. After much flailing about and a lot of profanity I finally managed to get back on my feet but by that time I was covered in...guess what? Snow!
I had snow in my shoes, snow in my shirt, snow in my hair, and snow coming out of my ears. Practically every inch of me was covered with snow. And it wasn't just ordinary snow either. No, this was genuine one hundred percent bleeping cold snow! The fact that temperatures were only in the teens did not help matters any.
I dusted myself off as best as I could, said a few well-chosen cuss words, wiped the white stuff from my binoculars, and scanned the snow-covered horizon. What I saw made my heart skip a beat. Striding across that field full of snow on its way to being an amazing discovery was...a man in a white snowsuit. Not an abominable snowman, but just an abominable man in the snow.
He was dressed in white from his head to his toes...white jacket, white pants, white gloves, white hat...even his boots were white. The only parts of him that showed any color were the soles of his boots and a tiny portion of his face that was peaking out of his hood. It was just enough to convince me that it was not such an amazing discovery after all.
Now, I have no idea why this guy was imitating an abominable snowman, but he should not have been doing it. Perpetrating a hoax is definitely not cool, even if somebody does not know they are perpetrating one. It is liable to cause people to jump to the wrong conclusion. Anybody with less training and experience than I have might have thought they were looking at an abominable snowman, rather than just some crazy dude in a white suit. It is lucky there were no other not-as-well-trained people around to make fools of themselves. Situations like this should be left to us experts.
Having satisfied myself that there was nothing worth seeing I lumbered back to my truck, shook some more snow off of my still snow-covered self, and headed on down the highway. I chalked it up to being just a brief bit of excitement in what would have been an otherwise dull day.
Later on I heard on the radio that somebody just west of Chicago had made an amazing discovery! They claimed to have spotted the abominable snowman. It was said he was a gruesome looking beast, completely white from his head to his toes, and he was making weird noises that sounded like cuss words.
The most amazing thing about the description is that the witness said the snowman was driving a truck!

Morgan.. You are so funny.. I would of ran to begin with.. I needed this to help me and my depressive mood right now.. The Steelers lost the super bowl. My husband is happy.. he has waited a very long time for his packers to win. Our area is suppose to be for the Bears.. When he wears his Packer coat all winter he gets booo's and more boo's when he goes anywhere. My son called and said well they can't boo him anymore, they were the best this year. and my son is a steeler fan.

The Stephenville Lights are back. There have been several reports in that area over the past couple of days. I'm on my way up there right now to investigate. I spent time there during the other flaps they had in that area and so far I have not seen anything unusual. Maybe this time will be different. Wish me luck.

I have not had much luck on my Stephensville lights investigation. So far the only light I have seen had the word "Bud" in front of it and was being brought to me by a Hooters waitress. I'll keep looking though. If I have time I might even look for some lights. I'll keep you updated.

I'm still in the Stephenville area and so far I still haven't seen any lights. I did talk to a few people who claim to have seen them. The lights were described as being in a triangle shape and there were reports of fighter jets chasing after them. I found several other reports listed on ufocasebook which describe similar sightings. One of them said the lights appeared just north of the town of Lampasas which is where I grew up and where I have had many of my own personal ufo-related experiences. Here is a link to the ufocasebook reports: ufocasebook.com/2011/texassightingsfeb2011.htmlTonight I am going to be camping out in an isolated area just north of Lampasas. I have had several unusual experiences at this location before. This is the same spot where I heard the invisible footprints and the knocking and ringing noises back in 2009. In fact, almost every time I camp out there something weird happens. Let's see if that pattern continues.

You might want to consider camping further North? Either Evant, or Hamilton. But you know the local area. Good luck.

I was up north close to Stephenville last night but didn't see anything. Tonight I am planning to camp north of Lampasas then when it gets dark I plan to drive in a northernly direction keeping my eyes on the skies. If I don't see anything I will head back to camp. It seems like most of the sightings occurred on the 10th so maybe I missed out on them. We'll see.

Chasing the Stephenville Lights
I had an interesting night last night. I first set up camp on some land north of Lampasas then when darkness fell I got in my pickup and started driving. I was looking for the Stephenville Lights. Any strange light would have been fine as far as I was concerned...I just wanted to see something.
I headed northwest on highway 183 to the town of Goldthwaite then turned right on some tiny little road named 16 that went directly north to Comanche. This was prime territory for seeing strange lights since most of the recent sightings had occurred either directly east or west of that area. I figured if I was going to see anything it would be there.
My method of searching was simple...I drove for about ten minutes or so while keeping my eyes to the skies then pulled over and parked so I could take a good look around. It was a very isolated area, mainly farm and ranch land. There were not many houses or cars or people around.
For the first couple of hours I didn't see or hear anything unusual, but then right around 9pm weird things started to happen. I pulled over to the side of the road and got out of the truck to walk around. I was standing there in the darkness scanning the skies, hoping to see something, when all of a sudden I heard a blood-curdling scream come out of the bushes behind me! It was some type of animal. I'm not sure what it was but it scared the bejeepers out of me! That is not what I was expecting to hear while standing alone out in the middle of nowhere. I quickly grabbed a flashlight and searched the area to see if I could find out what it was but I didn't see anything. the only thing I can guess is that maybe it was a coyote or something. It was weird.
A few minutes later I was once again heading north almost in Comanche when I saw a flash of light off to my left. I pulled over and spotted an airplane streaking through the skies heading south. Nothing unusual about that. I was about to start driving again when I looked behind me in the direction the plane was heading and saw a really weird looking star. It looked like it was elongated, or maybe like there were several stars or lights line up in a row. This is one of the descriptions people have given of the lights they have been seeing.
As I was standing there looking at the weird-looking star I suddenly realized that the "star" was moving away from me at a pretty good rate of speed. It was heading almost directly east. Since stars normally don't move I finally came to the conclusion that it must be one of the lights I was looking for...and it was getting away!
I quickly leaped in my pickup and took off in hot pursuit! The truck I was driving was a Dodge Dakota R/T with a V-8 engine, overdrive transmission, front and rear sway bars and 17 inch aluminum wheels...it was built for both speed and handling and I quickly put both of them to use. I was roaring down the road like a bat out of Hades, zooming through the turns and rocketing down the straightaways. As I did so I struggled to keep one eye on the lights so they wouldn't get away, and the other eye on the road so I wouldn't miss a turn and go sailing into a ditch.
The weird -looking lights continued heading to the east and as I chased after them I could see several other flashes of light within the same vicinity. There were three or four lights that flashed once and were gone, and they definitely were not part of the same craft, which was still pulling away from me. I stomped on the gas and speeded up.
Suddenly, a big brown shape came hurtling at me out of the darkness! "Holy Bleep!" I yelled, then slammed on the brakes and jerked the wheel to the left, then back to the right as first one deer then another went flying past me at 70 mph! Stupid deer! I can't believe they just stand there in the middle of the road like that when a car is barreling down on top of them at a high rate of speed. What do they think headlights are...UFOs?
Having narrowly avoided a disaster I continued the chase, although at a slightly slower speed but it was to no avail. The lights, whatever they were, were too far away and moving to fast. I couldn't keep up with them. I tried to take pictures of them but they didn't show up on the camera. I guess they were too far away, or too dim to be photographed. Rats! I had just bought a bunch of new camera equipment too.
I stayed out there until almost midnight hoping to see something else but that was all there was so I headed on back to camp. I gave it my best try though. I must have chased those suckers for forty miles but I just couldn't keep up.
Having spent the day thinking about what happened, I still am not sure what they were. It might have just been an airplane for all I know. I really do not have a clue. I think maybe next time I go looking for lights I need to take a telescope with me so I can get a closer look without almost killing myself. Of course that probably would not be as exciting, but it might allow me to live longer. I am sure the deer would also appreciate not having to worry about being turned into hood ornaments.
Overall the night was not a total disappointment. I got to have a little bit of excitement, and I finally got to see something. The last several times I have been in the area I didn't see anything. Now I have the motivation to continue investigating. I'm going to keep looking. I'll let you know if I see anything else.

I spent all night last night driving all over central Texas but did not see anything unusual other than a tow truck that broke down while trying to pull a truck out of a ditch. That is not really something I would feel like reporting to MUFON though.
There were no more lights in the sky, and nothing resembling a UFO. I'm going to have to call off the search for now because I had to go back to work. I think I did accomplish a few things regarding my investigation of the Stephenville Lights so the past few days were not a total waste.
I managed to find eight different reports of the lights on the Internet, and I gathered three others from people that I spoke to in person. They all say that the lights appeared on February 10. The witnesses described the lights as being amber to white in color, moving erratically although sometimes lining up in formation, and they said they were accompanied by what appeared to be Air Force jets that arrived in the vicinity during the sighting. The lights seemed to disappear when the jets arrived.
The lights I chased after on the night of the 13th were probably unrelated because they did not match up with the description given by the witnesses to the recent sightings, and I can find no other reports of anything unusual happening on that date. I am guessing that what I saw was probably just an aircraft with an unusual formation of lights on it, although I can not say that for certain. I wish I could have gotten closer to it so I could have gotten a better look at it. I definitely need to take a telescope with me the next time I go light-chasing. I am still refining my investigative techniques, but I will get this figured out sooner or later.

I spent the past two weeks in the area just west of Fort Worth and heading towards Stephenville and Dublin. I did not see anything that even resembled an unidentified light. Whatever it was that showed up on February 10 apparently is not coming back for a while.
I also have spent the past two weeks gathering reports and looking at photos and videos of the lights that appeared in the Stephenville area. Most of the videos and pictures I saw turned out to be hoaxes. It seems like any clown with a computer can make a hoax photo nowadays. It is so easy a left-handed monkey could do it. It just makes an investigators job that much more aggravating.
I might post a few of them here if I can weed out the phony baloney nonsense from the good ones.
Here's one that came from the local news just to wet your appetite...

"Dirt Circles" Discovered in Goldthwaite, TexasCheck this out. Two mysterious circles were found in the dirt outside a ranch house near the town of Goldthwaite, Texas on February 18, 2011. The original report was made to NUFORC. www.nuforc.org/webreports/080/S80116.htmlOccurred : 2/18/2011 08:00 (Entered as : 02/18/11 8:00) Reported: 2/18/2011 5:02:14 PM 17:02 Posted: 2/18/2011 Location: Goldthwaite, TX Shape: Duration: 2/18/11
I arrived at our ranch house (a place we do not live) yesterday afternoon. At that time, I was did not notice the circles. I woke this morning and opened my window to find these two circles, one inside of the other. What puzzeled me was that they were perfect circles.
I took pictures from our upstairs window to show the circles. This ranch is out in the middle of no where so I’m not sure how to tell when this happened. I have looked at it all day and can not make sense of it so we decided to report it.
The inner circle is about 30ft in diameter and the outer circle is about 37ft in diameter. The distance between the two circles is about 7 feet. The rings are about 2 feet wide and the dirt just looks sorta chewed up. There are no tread marks on the lines. There are tread marks around in other areas….the roads on our property are dirt.but this is different. There is no entrance or exit; it simply looks like two circles, one inside of the other.
I have no idea what might have caused this. Like I said, we have dirt roads, 4 wheelers and motorcycles, but we couldn’t get circles this perfect if we tried.
This is private property and to my knowledge, no one else has been on my property.
((NUFORC Note: Interesting photos provided by witness. PD))
I also found a website that has copies of the photos. lightsinthetexassky.blogspot.com/2011/03/rancher-discovers-crop-circles-near.htmlGoldthwaite is in the same area that the Stephenville Lights have been reported, and there were sightings in that general area on both February 10 and 18 of this year. The town is also only about 30 miles from Lampasas, which is where I have been having a lot of my weird experiences lately.
