Have you misplaced any thing antiquish Auntie? A ring or something old? Or someone else in the family? The settings you are dreaming in are un-threatening..almost pleasant..maybe you are just hunting some simple happiness.

It is kind of unusual to see a white owl in that part of the country but not entirely unheard of. White owls (or barn owls) do migrate south during the winter time. I think Paulette said she saw one in Texas many, many years ago. Of course we UFO people have a tendency to associate white owls with other types of nocturnal visitors also... What types of dreams you been having? + I have been having dreams of them, I can feel them but they wont let me see them which is unusual. I have been waking with bruises but no identifying marks. I am having insomnia because the dreams are really bothering me.

I think there is meaning to your dream as well. I am always dreaming about my grandmothers house, which has since been demolished and replaced by a law firm but I always dream she had a basement, which we dont have in Texas. Anyhow, last night I had a dream about it again. I walked under the house and there was a secret basement with file cabinets and paperwork with names I didnt recognize. I felt like I was intruding and looked around to see that the room could have been used as shelter...it was very strange indeed.

A friend stayed the night last night and because my mother is old school, we had to sleep in the car (don't get me started) Anyhow, He and I stayed up most of the night taking about life and what we have gone through, etc. Mind you, last week there was a white owl around the house for a few days then it disappeared. My friend doesn't believe in UFOs so I didn't bother with further information. Around 3:12 he told me to quiet down because he heard something. I told him we have an Opossum that wanders around and it was probably him. Then we were both asleep. There was no moment of Good night, or drifting to sleep it was just asleep. The next morning I woke up at around 5:30AM and we moved inside the house. As I took a shower, I was horrified to find 6 bruises on my knee. I have attached the photo. Nope my entire body hurts, especially my back and breasts for some reason. I have had a fever as well but I dont feel sick. I have been super sensitive to scent and have thrown up a few times for no reason. No headaches or pain in my ears, just a general feeling of not being well. I forgot to add that I have 2 bruises on both arms

You might have been an easy target for the space pirates out in a car like that. Not that would have made much difference if you had been in the house. Houses don't seem to slow them down much either.
How is your friend feeling? Any complaints?

No, houses do not stop them, not even in the slightest bit, neither does a house full of people or apartments.

Sorry to hear about your recent event . Is the bruising still on your knee area? My "bruising from them" seems to go away much quicker than any other bruises. .. .

Jarmen - I have dreamed of a "room between the floors" of my original family home and also other homes. Sometimes this space is interesting to me, as in, I discover it and want to explore it. Often thought I feel creeped out by the room. There are things that might have been mine a long time ago - small young teen's clothing still on hangers, a dusty bed, dressers full of stuff. The electricity doesn't work in this space although there sometimes is light "from the hall". I simply don't know what to do with this stuff or why I suddenly found it.
I also have dreamed (as an adult) that there was a cave beside my parent's motel (that was built when I was 7) full of crystals. (I have always loved crystals since I was 3 or 4.) I want to go down into it in the dream but it is on a piece of property that I was told not to play on - it had brush, cactus, and probably snakes and scorpions. So why the fascination to go there over and over again in dreams? When my father stopped me from going outside late one night (when I was somewhere around 8-10) "To see my pony" I was headed in that direction. The family assumed I was sleep walking. I actually remember struggling to get the lock on the door unlocked and the frustration and confusion when he stopped me. Personally, I'm not sure I was sleep walking (I understand one doesn't remember anything). It was more like a compulsion to leave the building. Ponies and crystals would have been good bait to get me outside...

Do you think that they would need to get you to leave the house? Would it be easier for them to grab people if they are outside rather than in? I've never known houses to slow them down any but I have read a lot of accounts of people going outside because they felt compelled to do so right before they were abducted. I just watched Nightmare on Elm Street on TV and I noticed that the people in it also were constantly leaving their house in their dreams and that is what allowed Freddie to come after them...not that a fictional movie has anything to do with real life aliens. It was just something I thought was an interesting comparison.
I remember back when I first got zapped by the space pirates back in 1988 the beam of light was coming in through my bedroom window...and I remember that I had left the window open to let a little air in. If it had been closed would they still have grabbed me or would I have had a sudden urge to go outside and do some silly thing in the middle of the night? It's not like I've never done that before.

I am glad that I am not the only one that dreams of these types of spaces...they have never needed a reason to get me outside though.

I don't just dream of these "spaces". It's like I feel them, or know something is there. The house I just moved out of, was my family home since I was 4. As a youngster, I never liked the basement (pretty common fear). But I also actually thought that there was a room even underneath the basement floor, and was more curious about that. Later, I found out a house up the street from me by 5 houses, did have a tiny extra room (hidden) near their basement and garage. Ok, fast forward the last 4-5 yrs. My sensitive daughters didn't like this basement either. It came up in conversation now and then. One day one of them mentioned "I keep thinking there's another room under the basement floor". just maybe, being Kansas City, Mo, there was originally some "hideouts" concreted over from the civil war?

That is pretty interesting. There are no basements in Texas. I have never lived anywhere else. I have "felt" hidden spaces as well. I found one when I was around 6 in one of our houses. It was in the dining room and I kept telling my parents something was down there. Years later when we replaced the carpet, we found a door there and when my father opened it, he found 2 skeletons. Needless to say we moved but that still haunts me because I knew it was there for years.

Does Texas really not have any basements? I've lived there pretty much my whole life and now that I think about it I can't recall ever seeing a single one. Why is that? Is there any particular reason for it?
That's a very cool story about finding the skeletons, Jarmen. I mean I'm sure the dead people didn't think it was cool. Any idea who they were or how they got there? Was it reported in the local newspaper? I wouldn't mind reading more about that. I bet that house is haunted for sure. Do you remember what town it was in?

I assume it was due to drugs that the bodies were there because there was an acre of pot found in the back of the house. It was in Weatherford, I don't know about the newspaper as small towns tended to cover things quite a bit in those days.

Yeah, this is really creepy to some people. Your story verifies the "knowing", Jarmen. Sometimes I wish we had some accuracy that could be proven. If we "jumped" on all our "knowings". . . Sigh.

I really dont like the knowing part, it makes me physically ill. my precognition has been sleeping for quite a while now, as most of my talents but for some reason they are coming back in full force lately. The owl has been gone for a week now but the feeling that they are still around is stronger. bruises are still appearing on my right shoulder and I m waking in the middle of the night from a dead sleep only to sit in bed and fall back asleep. I know why they are interested again,,,but will disclose why later when all is confirmed by doctors.

Thank You, Jarmen. I really appreciate everything you have to say.
My "knowing" used to make me more mental than physical problems (besides the tendency to want to shut-down physically/cataleptic ?). I've spoken before about this mental; because of perceived stances in religion I was worried about my "safety".
Hang in there (what else can we do right now?). Thinking of You. . . .

I can describe the senses when I feel them. At first, I begin to get a slight pain in my left side of my brain, then I get dizzy, i get chills and then the nausea follows. The immediate want to flee is there and that incredible uneasy feeling sets in.

wow.
I guess I have another reason to be grateful. Mine is more like a "second thought". Something I am very free to question. . .for example:
"This basement sure is creepy, I don't want to stay down here long " (we kept canned goods down there for many years and I was often sent down there about an hour before dinner).
second thought: "But there's another room below this basement"
"Is that why it feels creepy?"
second thought: "No, it just feels creepy because it is damp, doesn't get much sunlight ever, and the furnace is noisy"
"oh. But there can't be a room underneath"
second thought: "why not?"
"well, I'm just a kid, how could I find out?"
as I said, this never instilled fear. It actually probably helped me overcome any fear of the basement, because I was now curious.
Same with me "knowing" a "body" was at the side of a well-travelled road. And the next day the area was swarming with emergency personel. The second voice is not emotional, as I would be, in such circumstances. It's after I realize that the second voice is true, that I might suddenly get a physical feeling, like chills down my body. Again, its not the chills of fear (I have of course felt those before, and it is different.)
However, If I have a "complete vision" of something real I am to know, it just dawned on me that I have this in "dreams" or have kind of "passed out" while awake. Shoot, I just realized that sometimes (if able) I immediately go lie down. I'm almost compelled to. Maybe my body already knows I can't handle it physically? After such "dreams", I have either awoken not feeling so well, but occasionally feeling very "high", or energized.
Since I just found out I have a major sleep apnea that can be treated, I have so much to learn. I can understand some people thinking my sleep apnea has caused other disfunctions, like sleepwalking, and time will tell.

Paulette recently had to deal with similar sleep related problems. Maybe she could give you some advice. Yep. I'm hoping for it . s Jarmen - You probably need to sleep with a CPAC machine unless elevating the bed or a dental device allows you to breathe through your nose. I will not lie - the CPAP is noticeable to sleep with! One has a mask or nasal cannula (my preference) with air blowing into your nose continuously from a tube that runs from a machine alongside the bed. However, one has no missed breaths or smothering episodes while using it. I used to have dreams of getting on a large boat and leaving - and my dead husband was in line with me. I assumed (rightly it turned out) that I was dying. I was missing breaths for up to 30 seconds at a time 100 times an hour! That's in the smothering zone and sets one up for strokes, heart attacks, reduced concentration and ability to stay awake during the day, and othe physical problems such as Type 2 diabetes and obesity. I also had back of the neck headaches that often became migraines and morning bloodshot eyes. I didn't feel good. I didn't look good. Now I sleep and although I have to wake up periodically to readjust the nose cannula and dump water out of the tube, by morning I am rested and awake without an alarm clock. I don't feel like I need a nap in the afternoon. However, if my nose is stopped up or if I want an a nap without the contraption I can still sleep in my reliner chair semi-upright. It does mean no camping unless one brings a generator or battery pack. I prefer motels and hotels anyway - those long trots off to the Bathroom aren't so much fun anymore for me. Your doctor may refer you to a sleep lab and sleep specialist (mine did here in Canada). The night's "sleep" without my CPAP machine was dreadful and when I woke up feeling horrible (like I used to everyday) I realized how much the quality of life had changed for me. I developed Type 2 diabetes during my apneaic times and also packed on a lot of weight - I'm still struggling with both of these issues. Good luck and go ahead and try it. You won't go back!!!

Thanks Ladies . I talk about it a little more on my personal thread. Mine sounds a lot like what Paulette is talking about, and I can't wait to see my life improve. I've been miserable (and getting more fatigued) x at least three years. I told my Dr. that honestly I started noticing more fatigue after I had my twins, so thought that was it. I snore only a little. I kick more . A snore or a literal kick of my leg to wake myself up. My poor little poodle. He used to sleep ON my legs, trying to help. Sitting up helps some people, but when I start to fall asleep in my recliner I always do that "body jump" and I'm dreaming briefly that I'm falling. That's the only time I remember "kicking", and they (sleep center staff) said I do it a LOT more than that. From what I've read, in the past before everything got so stream-lined, Paulette and I would have both spent a couple of nights in the hospital after our diagnosis. I can breath through my nose, thanks to 2 nose surgeries. I have no tonsils to speak of, due to another condition (that is helped by elevated head-sleeping.). I'll do anything to sleep with this device. The one I tried during the night at the center (April 1) was only covering my nose, and took patience to get the pressure right (nevermind everything else). So, if it doesn't work out, being the only one I tried, I'll try and try other "types" too. On one web-site I saw a pretty good suggestion. If you can't fall asleep with it, use it every night for a couple of hours while watching tv, UNTIL you can get used to it. BTW, my sister is overweight (more than me) and snores very loudly; even if she falls asleep in a chair. She got tested, and doesn't have sleep apnea. Some people take more than one test to find out, though.

I had a preliminary test around 2002 and it suggested that I had "mild" sleep apnea - it was a clip that went on my finger and measure blood oxygen saturation. In fact, I've snored loudly for a lot longer than that and woke up during the night. I had a second slightly more advanced test in Dec 2012 and from the results of that test it suggested I neededa CPAP. But then I was scheduled to go to the sleep lab. It takes about 30 minutes for the technician to wire up one's head with electrodes stuck on with sticky goo. Then you "sleep" with a headful of wires. That's when they found out how severe my conditon was - at times my blood oxygen went down to 70%. There was some question of whether I needed oxygen at night! That might come later. Because I have allergies and because I have a deviated spetrum (?) in my nose, I don't breathe well anyway. I experience a profound sense of relief when I'm getting piped in air! I seem to be fine with what I've got. It comes apart and travels easily (does add weight to my luggage if I fly though). I'm grateful. People who "died peacefully in their sleep"? Maybe not so peacefully. Maybe they stroked or had their heart attack after years of being smothered at night.
Terrible joke I shared with the sleep teckkies:
I want to peacefully die in my sleep like Grand Dad did. Not like the other screaming people in the car...
