Thanks for sharing this photo Auntym. Very interesting... I also think it looks man-made. An unemployed artist perhaps with a lot of time on her hands?

www.ufodigest.com/node/3583 The Man Who Woke Up on a Rock – A Thousand Feet in the Air By Scott Corrales - [Our friend and colleague Paulo R. Poian has called our attention to this bit of undeniable high-strangeness from 2008 in Brazil’s Espiritu Santo province. No UFOs were present. Could a hapless stoneworker been teleported to a rocky summit by those reckless entities we know as the djinn? Perhaps we’ll never know – SC] BRAZIL: The protagonist of this story was rescued by firefighters. No UFOs were reported in the region and the episode was described as a “strange form of somnambulism”. The event took place in the Brazilian state of Espiritu Santo: “A mystery is perplexing the residents of Bananalzinho in the municipality of Rio Bananal. Odair José Berti, 35, a stonecutter, does not know how he wound up on top of a rock some 980 feet in the air – remaining on this precarious perch for some 17 hours. He was rescued by firefighters during a hazardous operation that took 12 hours and ended early yesterday morning. Even experienced firefighters like sergeants José Ailton and Caldeira could not find a logical explanation for the bizarre episode. According to the rescuers, reaching the top of the rock poses considerable difficulty, even using proper gear. It would be virtually impossible for local residents to make a successful ascent without the proper mountaineering equipment. “Only God knows how he got there,” remarked Claudecir Berti, the stonecutter’s nephew. Odair himself was terrified by the situation. He lives in the town of Colatina and had decided to take a walk over to his brother’s house in Bananalzinho, where he arrived late on Wednesday. “I was very tired,” he told his relatives, and fell asleep early. Upon awakening the next day – according to his story – he was greatly shocked to find himself on top of a rocky summit. In desperation, he started to scream, waving his shirt, until a local resident took notice. When he was rescued, the stonecutter was found wearing shorts, a shirt and carpet slippers, and didn’t have a scratch on his body, as the rescuers would testify. He was in weakened condition, however, due to thirst and hunger. Mr. Berti was treated at the local hospital and released. The rescue mission involved a team of four firefighters, who were driven to the site at around 1:40 in the afternoon. Upon realizing the seriousness of the situation, they took a helicopter belonging to the state government. However, the flying vehicle was not rated for nocturnal operations, so the rescuers decided to attempt a climb using rappelling techniques. Aided by local residents, they took over an hour to reach the best-suited area for an ascent. CONTINUE READING: www.ufodigest.com/node/3583

Wow! Lucky that he was in an area that people could see him. Sounds like a nasty joke or some weird abiding by the law of not bothering humans - "Well we put him back."

Odd things from the guadacanal island battle. American planes were scrambled in a false alarm at Henderson field. Though unopposed three planes disappeared without a trace. American planes claimed to have attacked and sank a destroyer like ship in battle but neither the Japanese nor allies had a ship in the area at the time. who did they sink? During WWI at Gallipoli a British regiment marched off into a fog and was not seen again. After the war the first thing asked of the Turks was what happened to the men who marched off into the fog. The Turks denied any knowlede of the regiment. Not a trace of them was ever found.

THIS HAPPENED IN AUSTRALIA A FEW YEARS AGO... Aberdeen coastal village engulfed in sea foam Published on Sep 25, 2012 by jonmillsswns The recent bad weather has left a fishing village in Aberdeen engulfed in - SEA FOAM. Residents were left shocked as homes and vehicles in the village of Footdee, known as Fittie, were covered in the mixture of water and sand. One resident said: 'I have stayed in the village for 33 years and I have seen wild storms but never anything as bad as this.'

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FOUND THIS PICTURE & ARTICLE... AUSTRALIA 2008 I POSTED THIS ON MUFON & UFOMANIASuddenly the shoreline north of Sydney were transformed into the Cappuccino Coast. Foam swallowed an entire beach and half! the ne arby buildings, including the local lifeguards' centre, in a freak display of nature at Yamba in New South Wales. One minute a group of teenage surfers were waiting to catch a wave, the next they were swallowed up in a giant bubble bath. The foam was so light that they could puff it out of their hands and watch it float away. Boy in the bubble bath: Tom Woods, 12, emerges from the clouds of foam after deciding that surfing was not an option It stretched for 30 miles out into the Pacific in a phenomenon not seen at the beach for more than three decades. Scientists explain that the foam is created by impurities in the ocean, such as salts, chemicals, dead plants, decomposed fish and excretions from seaweed. All are churned up together by powerful currents ! which c ause the water to form bubbles. These bubbles stick to each other as they are carried below the surface by the current towards the shore. As a wave starts to form on the surface, the motion of the water causes the bubbles to swirl upwards and, massed together, they become foam. The foam 'surfs' towards shore until the wave 'crashes', tossing the foam into the air. Whitewash: The foam was so thick it came all the way up to the surf club 'It's the same effect you get when you whip up a milk shake in a blender,' explains a marine expert. 'The more powerful the swirl, the more foam you create on the surface and the lighter it becomes.' In this case, storms off the New South Wales Coast and further north off Q ueensland had created a huge disturbance in the ocean, hitting a stretch of water where there was a particularly high amount of the substances which form into bubbles. As for 12-year-old beachgoer Tom Woods, who has been surfing since he was two, riding a wave was out of the question. 'Me and my mates just spent the afternoon leaping about in that stuff,' he said. 'It was quite cool to touch and it was really weird. It was like clouds of air - you could hardly feel it.'

That is kind of amazing. I never knew there was such a phenomenon as sea foam. It kind of reminds me of those old science fiction movies from the 50s where some monstrous blob starts eating everything.

So the ocean would be like a giant washing machine. It's no wonder all those ships keep disappearing in the Bermuda Triangle. They must be wherever all of my socks are.
