I suppose I am always a little suspicious when something happened and a person just happens to have a camera (that seemed to be on a tripod or propped steadilly) and gets the shot. I will say that the water there was probably very deep as the whole Salish Sea is a giant fjiord with no shelving bottom in most places. It could easily be 30 fathoms or more ( approx 200 feet deep). There is no marine base near there - it might be remotely possible that a passing submarine was firing roman candles or dummy rounds of something from underwater. Scale is difficult to determine on this clip.

Aunty, did you post something about this? Or, I could have read about it somewhere else, after following one of your links. . .
this one doesn't sound familiar...
the one i posted a few days ago was about a crashed ufo and the canadian government was claiming it wasn't...
