Mike has always had an interest in UFOs, and he has had some unusual experiences. In 2009, he began blogging about his ideas and experiences in an effort to understand them. Synchronicities, memories of aliens, UFO sightings and the appearance of owls has lead him on a unique journey of discovery. It has all culminated in the recent release of his book,The Messengers: Owls, Synchronicity and the UFO Abductee. We talk about Mike’s experiences and some of his ideas in this interview. For more information about Mike, visit his blog at hiddenexperience.blogspot.com/The Messengers: Owls, Synchronicity and the UFO Abductee - ufo 2016 More Talk.TV Published on May 21, 2016 Without question, this is a classic by Mike Clelland one of the most exciting new authors in the UFO field today. After reading his book your view of reality will never be the same. The owl has held a place of reverence and mystique throughout history. And as strange as this might seem, owls are also showing up in conjunction with the UFO experience. Mike Clelland has collected a wealth of first-hand accounts in which owls manifest in the highly charged moments that surround alien contact. There is a strangeness to these accounts that defy simple explanations. Mikes book explores implications that go far beyond what more conservative researchers would dare consider. But the owl connection encompasses more than the UFO experience. It also includes profound synchronicities, ancient archetypes, dreams, shamanistic experiences, personal transformation, and death. From the mythic legends of our ancient past to the first-hand accounts of the UFO abductee, owls are playing some vital role. This is also a deeply personal story. It is an odyssey of self-discovery as the author grapples with his own owl and UFO encounters. What plays out is a story of transformation with the owl at the heart of this journey.

I have come face to face with owls all my life. Don't remember any messages with the event. Nor a ufo sighting . Could be but at the time I never dreamed it had any possibility at all to do with messages. When I was around four years old. I climbed up on some thing to peek into our dark garage window. It was more like a shack about to fall down. When my eye come up as far as the opening of the window there was a pure white owl . Barn owl to be exact. I froze as our noses almost touched. It just kept staring at me like it could see right through me. It did not fly away but sat there. I do not know how long this went on. Maybe five minutes at the most. I ran to the house and told my Mother because I had never seen a barn owl before. I may of seen a hoot owl. It reminded me of a monkey face. I was petrified. I use to have dreams of this owl staring back at me through out my life. I don't remember when I last dreamed of it. But when I see photos of it I get chills yet. Something mystical about it that is for sure. Has anyone here had such a experience ? We discussed owls a long time ago. May be a thread for it. thanks Auntym for putting this on. That was very interesting. Just look at the face and tell what comes to mind. It is scary but I don't know why.

mysteriousuniverse.org/2018/01/return-of-the-messengers-an-interview-with-mike-clelland/ Return of The Messengers: An Interview with Mike Clellandby Robbie Graham / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/rgraham/January 22, 2018 Mike Clelland is best known in the UFO research community as “the owl guy.” Since 2009, his popular blog, Hidden Experience, has been documenting numerous otherworldly encounters with owls from individuals from all walks of life. Many of these accounts relate to UFOs, the paranormal, and profound synchronicities. Over the years, Mike has continued to receive hundreds of “weird owl” stories. It seemed he’d tapped into a wellspring of largely un-reported, un-publicized high-strange experiences linked to these winged nocturnal messengers. What did it all mean? Mike sought to answer this question in depth in what would become his first book on the UFO topic: The Messengers: Owls, Synchronicity, and the UFO Abductee—one of the bestselling UFO titles of 2016. Now, in 2018, Mike is launching his much-anticipated sequel: Stories from the Messengers: Accounts of Owls, UFOs, and a Deeper Reality (Richard Dolan Press). Boasting a Foreword by Whitley Strieber, Mike’s second owl book is a companion to his first, presenting the reader with a wealth of material, some of which was originally intended to feature in book one, but which would have pushed that manuscript to almost biblical proportions. Here, Mike talks to me about his new book and alternative approaches to unraveling the UFO mystery… CONTINUE READING: mysteriousuniverse.org/2018/01/return-of-the-messengers-an-interview-with-mike-clelland/

Did White Owl Encounters Cause Abnormalities?Posted by Lon Strickler / About ten years ago I was driving around the lake roads with a friend, late at night. We come up to this white owl sitting in the middle of the road. I might have thought nothing of it, except for it didn't move. I stopped my car in front of it, tried honking, flashing my lights, and it just stared us down. So I creep around it. We get up the road about two miles more, and turn a corner. There in the middle of the road is this really long, slender, white figure sprawled out, taking up nearly the entire span of the street. My friend and I freaked out, like I swear she even yelled "is that a f*cking alien?!" From a distance, it did distinctly look like a humanoid figure, with a notable shoulder formation and limbs. So I drive up a little closer to it, and it becomes clear that the thing is another white owl, with it's wings spread out, like it was dead or taking a defensive posture. I'm not sure. I had to drive partly in the grass to get around it, the whole time my friend freaking out "go, go, go, go, let's get back into town." Looking back there are definitely a couple weird things about that incident other than the weird coincidence of seeing two white owls behaving strangely out there, in a region where white owls aren't that common. The first weird thing is that the way the figure appeared to us from a distance was so different from what it became when we got up close. My brain doesn't really like processing it. The other weird thing is that the figure was so long. I don't think that any owl has a wingspan as long as this wingspan would have had to be for it to take up the entire road like that. Then about three weeks later I was with two different friends, driving around again. I had my window down, and a white owl swooped down from the trees. You could see it leaving the trees from the front windshield, but there was no time to react, before it nearly flew into my open window. I remember seeing its face there, like inches from mine in that split second before it veered back up. This was shortly before I developed really bad anxiety for the first time. I got home one night that summer after I'd been out pretty late, and I had a sore throat. So I looked in the mirror, and in the back of my throat, on the wall just past the uvula was a hole, about the size of a pencil eraser. It was a very perfect shape, and it had smooth edges, like it wasn't a wound. There was no puss around it, no bleeding. It made no sense at all. I understandably freaked the hell out, rushed in and made my mom look (I was about 18, still living with my mom). She didn't believe me at first, but then I remember seeing the look on her face go from skepticism to horror when she actually peered inside my mouth. But when we got to the hospital, whatever had been wrong with my throat was fixed. There was no evidence that a hole had ever been back there, aside from my mom and I both insisting there was. The doctor basically treated us both like we were crazy and said it was physically impossible for there to be a disappearing hole in the mouth. After that I had horrible anxiety for years. I quit smoking, and developed an OCD-like obsession with washing my hands and checking my throat. That mystery was never solved, and it's honestly a really horrible moment in my life that's taken me years to come to terms with. LL NOTE: I suggest the witness read 'The Messengers: Owls, Synchronicity and the UFO Abductee' by Mike Clelland. I also went through bizarre events involving owls. www.phantomsandmonsters.com/2019/11/white-owl-possibly-shape-shifts-into.htmlSaturday, November 02, 2019 White Owl Possibly Shape Shifts Into a Tall White HumanoidPosted by Lon Strickler / I recently found the following account: About four years ago on a fall evening around 7 pm, my girlfriend and roommate and I were walking along some decommissioned WA train tracks surrounded by woods on both sides. We loved exploring little in-between areas so this wasn't an uncommon event. We were about five miles into the tracks and woods and were considering heading back since it was getting dark quick and none of us had a flashlight. I suddenly got this sensation of almost nausea inducing dread and looked at both my friends who were with me, and saw that they too were feeling something, wide eyed and looking around. "Let's start heading back" I declare, and they all nod in silent agreement. Mind you, we were doing just fine a second ago, and do this sort of thing all the time, so this sudden onset of fear was unusual and not something that we were prepared for or used to. Just as we were turned around, we all heard a strange sound that almost sounded like quieted thunder/metal hitting metal that was coming from what sounded like off in the distance. As we whipped around to see what made the noise, a large white bird that I think was a white owl flew over our heads silently, flapping its wings and disappearing behind a tree that was a good 25 feet behind us. We all looked at each other trying to make sense of what the hell we just heard and started walking briskly back towards civilization. We heard what sounded like twigs snapping in the woods behind us, and my girlfriend and I turned around to see what made the noise. Peeking from behind the tree the owl just flew behind, was what looked like an impossibly tall ghost white humanoid shape, with one hand on the tree trunk as it peered out from behind it. Before we could get a good look at it's face, it quickly retreated back to behind the tree out of our sight again. My girlfriend and I looked at each other panicked. She opened her mouth to say something, and I told her "Don't talk about it, we need to walk faster." My roommate looked at us confused and clearly scared by what I had just said, so I told him we need to probably run home at this point, which we did. I've told a few people this story, and no one believes me. What I saw was NOT the owl I had seen earlier, this being had a clear ghost white hand on the tree trunk, a neck, and an upper body, and was TALL. I'd say like 7 feet at least (not tall enough to reach the branches of the tree though). I wish I could've made out the face, it was just so dark that the only reason I could see it was because of how white it was.
