Everyone has a spirit animal totem..a guide. Sometimes...finding it as as simple as noticing what animal pops up in your life with great frequency..maybe something you feel a great kinship to. There's a quiz I found online and some information on 'spirit totem's' that are pretty cool. Especially now..when the world is as chaotic as it is...everything that is spiritual in our lives can be a help. Animal totems, wearing certain minerals or gems. A for instance would be wearing black tourmaline. It's a stone for protection from 'spirits' for grounding..for magnifying strength and even for warding off neighbors who whine a lot. It's interesting to see the meaning behind these things. I always keep a dish on my coffee table full of quartz, amethyst and hematite. I wear black tourmaline and pink tourmaline most often and usually some owl earrings..my animal totem. I thought it might be fun to share some thoughts on it. Try so hard not to dwell on the un-steady chaos of a world around us..it tends to drag people down. www.spiritanimal.info/spirit-animal-quiz/

Well that was kind of fun (I'm sitting here beaming) 😄.
My "totem" is the turtle. LOL.
I'm going to ponder that one myself today, before looking at the websites conclusions!
Something that immediately sticks out, is that I am very soft on the inside, but have a tough outer shell. Lol.
I also was much surprised in the past to find that "legends" have the turtle as a wise creature; the "go to" person. After the initial surprise, I can understand that. 🙂

Silly quiz said my spirit animal is the crow but I've always felt more kin to a t-rex...or maybe a triceratops. Crows don't impress me all that much.

Crows are VERY smart. Spirit messengers. And pretty devious at times too...shrewd. I'm pretty sure T-rex doesn't figure into animal totems LOL

Ummm. And those little bitty "appendages" that are supposed to be its... um.... feeding and grabbing tools? Sky, are you sayin you are all, um, all teeth with legs?? Ummm, "Land shark" (an alligator that evolved on to land masses full-time, just so it could stomp). ****** The Crow?! Oh man! You can FLY! Very observant (and can see fine detail from a distance). Discerning. Mysterious. People ASSUME you are one thing, like a "dark, scavenger", but you are undefinable. You can appear to run with a crowd, but your peeps know you are always alert and "scouting". Talented (and yes, very smart). An angel in disguise if one so chooses. 😉

How about a velociraptor? That would be a cool spirit animal.

We t-rexes always get laughed at. It's because we're misunderstood.

I'd say a T Rex would have no problem being understood
