I haven't felt compelled to write much here in a long time.
But Swampy posted a talk by Dr. Greer. I listened to it and then another one of his and followed his guided meditation to be in contact with a UFO and its occupations. And then I listened to it again (eyes closed breathing deeply and rythmically.)
Anyway - while doing this for the second time the room (sensed through my closed eyes) went dark. It scared me but when I opened my eyes, the room was lit by the light that was on. My fear faded and a "random?" thought came - just playing peek-a-boo. OK
The next day (yesterday) the barometer went up and down as small ineffectual low pressure fronts came through. (I migraine with a sudden drop in barometer). I was trying to deal with it without medication, breathing and remembering Dr. Greer's meditation. I eventually had to take the migraine medication and go to bed. I hoped it would rain overnight (it didn't). I halfheartedly hoped that an alien would take my headache away!
I dreamed from early dawn on - in one section I was driving in the rain behind a large vehicle with lots of tail lights. Suddenly everything went blank white - the sky, the road ... I kept driving because I was afraid to be left in the blankness. Out of side window, I saw a plane flying alongside me - which turned into a classic saucer - and then back into a plane - and disappeared.
Then a bird fly into my frame of view in blankness. It too turned into a saucer.
And then I was in everyday reality again, driving down the road. No headache. Even though it's still hazy gray out.
My birthday was on the 21th. I thought I turned 74, but actually 75. Last year was a write off. My UFO thoughts can be dismissed as the ranting of an old brain...or....

I'm reading (maaybe rereading) Whitley Strieber' book,Breakthrough, written in 1995. I'm going slowly/carefully now but a few concepts stood out it me:
1. He sometimes took his cat with him when walking to the place where he was first contacted. He also mentioned that the cats didn't like him (hissed) when he had been in contact with the Others. I too had had a small cat with me, the house was empty but the cat found me and hung out with me. During my contact it hissed and dug its claws into me. And then would purr. And then hiss and dig again.
2. He talked about being incredibly afraid of what was happening to him. I too, was so fearful (although I suggested going outside to meet them and we did go outside and hit a wall of fear. I felt that someone was very close to me later that night and my heart was pounding so hard that I "put out" that I thought I might die of fear. I then almost immediately "fell asleep. I had a fleeting memory of someone bending over me, to see if I was "out." I had never had surgery at that point in my life, but later I was put out so that my son could be born by emergency C section. My doctor bent over me and said, "Goodnight Paulette" and I almost jumped off the table as memories of my earlier experience came welling to the top.
3. Whitley said, he presented himself. When I was dancing outside in a field of rye (and possibly rattlesnakes hunting for field mice) I said, OK, if you are there, come down and take me. I'd call that presenting myself.
4.He wrote that he thought that their reality so much more different than how we humans saw it, that coming to know each other had to done carefully, with many people having Otherly experiences that opened a chink in our rigid belief that how we see our world is the only way to see. I feel that I always knew that wasn't true, even as a child. I knew that "They" were around.
So I'm only on page 25. Hello to everyone here. Paulette
