www.express.co.uk/news/weird/712626/Russian-politician-MP-voters-election-would-good-advice-outer-space-aliens ... i hope he wins... Russian politician claims he would be good because he gets advice from outer spaceA RUSSIAN politician made a desperate last-ditch bid to attract votes by claiming that he would make a good MP because he was getting advice from an extra-terrestrial civilisation. PUBLISHED: Tue, Sep 20, 2016 Vasilliy Dmitrienko has appealled to voters by revealing he gets policy advice from aliens And incredibly Vasiliy Dmitrienko, 69, from far-Eastern Russian Khabarovsk Krai region was still given the backing of his party who said that wherever his ideas were coming from, they were clearly good ideas for the region. Dmitrienko was running for a seat in Russia’s parliamentary elections that were held last Sunday on 18th September during which he represented opposition liberal-democratic party "Yabloko" which supports democratic values and opposes Putin's politics. He became an online Internet celebrity after his promotional clip was aired on local television and was shared online. It shows Vasiliy Dmitrienko, a grey-haired man in glasses in his late sixties making what seems at first to be a rather boring speech. He says: "Let's unite our efforts to develop the region. We will solve every problems with a new parliament" But then he suddenly changes tack saying: "The fundamental difference between me and the other candidates is that I’m a specialist in providing telepathic video communications between all living beings on Earth and a higher intelligence." I’m a specialist in providing telepathic video communications Politician Vasiliy DmitrienkoHis claim was quickly reposted by a number of Russian media outlets. Apparently, Yabloko party officials do not see any harm in having such a "talented" candidate among party members. Igor Khovanskiy, chief of the regional branch of the Yabloko party said: "I do not think that clips like this could harm the party's reputation. He decided to build his election campaign this way to attract more supporters. I think this is a PR-stunt if you will. He is very adequate if we will not be taking into account his words about telepathy". The results of the election will only be known on Friday, although pollsters predict that the last-minute bid for votes did not translate into approval at the ballot box. Internet user ‘Aleksandr Brodskiy’, referring to the candidate and implying he might be having drug-induced hallucinations, said: "Can you give me the number of your drug dealer, please?" Another internet user, ‘alaricy2’, said: "He should run for President." ‘Maria Gamova’ said on social media: "This is the coolest election promotional clip I ever saw!" Amused ‘Farida Ibragimova’ posted went online to say: "This way I learned that elections can also be hilarious." www.express.co.uk/news/weird/712626/Russian-politician-MP-voters-election-would-good-advice-outer-space-aliens

www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/article178813586.html Miami politician says aliens took her on a spaceship. Now she’s running for Congress.By Alex Daugherty And Patricia Mazzei adaugherty@mcclatchydc.com October 16, 2017 WASHINGTON Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera, a former Doral city council member and the city’s first economic director, will run to replace retiring Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen in Congress in 2018. Rodriguez Aguilera said during a 2008 TV appearance that she has seen aliens extraterrestrials throughout her life. Roberto Koltun rkoltun@elnuevoherald.comFlorida has a U.S. senator who once flew aboard the Space Shuttle. A congressional candidate from Miami can go one better: Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera says she’s been aboard a spaceship too. But this one was crewed by aliens. As in extraterrestrials. Three blond, big-bodied beings — two females, one male — visited her when she was 7 years old and have communicated telepathically with her several times in her life, she says. (Sen. Bill Nelson served as payload officer aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia in 1986. All seven people aboard were from Earth. As far as is known.) Rodriguez Aguilera, 59, a Republican who is running to replace retiring Miami Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, recounted her experience with the ETs during a 2009 television interview. She described “going up” inside the spaceship — though whether it went into space or just hovered around town was left unclear. “I went in. There were some round seats that were there, and some quartz rocks that controlled the ship — not like airplanes,” Rodriguez Aguilera said. In two separate videos posted to YouTube years ago, one by local Spanish-language station America TeVe and another by a political critic with the user name DoralGirl26, Rodriguez Aguilera spoke on television in detail about her extraterrestrial experiences. She said the alien beings reminded her of the famous statue in Rio de Janeiro, Christ the Redeemer, with arms outstretched. Among the things she said she found out from the aliens: ▪ There are 30,000 skulls — “different from humans” — in a cave in the Mediterranean island of Malta. ▪ The world’s “energy center” is in Africa. ▪ The Coral Castle, a limestone tourist attraction South Miami-Dade, is actually an ancient Egyptian pyramid. ▪ “God is a universal energy.” She also said that the aliens had mentioned Isis, though she didn’t clarify if they meant the terrorist organization or the ancient Egyptian goddess. The Miami Herald asked Rodriguez Aguilera about her experiences Friday. She responded with a statement that waxed astronomical, but sadly failed to mention close encounters of any kind. “For years people, including Presidents like Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter and astronauts have publicly claimed to have seen unidentified flying objects and scientists like Stephen Hawking and institutions like the Vatican have stated that there are billions of galaxies in the universe and we are probably not alone,” she said. “I personally am a Christian and have a strong belief in God, I join the majority of Americans who believe that there must be intelligent life in the billions of planets and galaxies in the universe.” Rodriguez Aguilera was a Doral councilwoman from 2012-14 and served as the city's first economic developer. She works as an entrepreneur and has taught leadership seminars at local universities. She declared her candidacy in late August and raised about $10,000 during the most recent fundraising quarter, she said — a paltry amount she attributed to halting her campaign during Hurricane Irma. Rodriguez Aguilera’s daughter is former Republican National Committee Hispanic outreach director Bettina Inclán Agen. Her son-in-law, Jarrod Agen, is Vice President Mike Pence’s deputy chief of staff. Miami attorney Rick Yabor, a frequent political commentator in Spanish-language media, said Friday that Rodriguez Aguilera’s account could hurt her congressional campaign. Miami-Dade Commissioner Bruno Barreiro and former school board member and Miami-Dade County mayoral candidate Raquel Regalado, both far better known than Rodriguez Aguilera, are also running in the Republican primary. “Being a politician, to come out and say that, it’s odd,” Yabor said. “She got into details that are not very mainstream. Someone who’s running for Congress — you’ve got to raise a lot of money. A donor might have second thoughts. “Miami politics are unusual,” Yabor said. “This one takes it to a new level.” Alex Daugherty: 202-383-6049, @alextdaugherty dade/article178813586.html#storylink=cpy

www.npr.org/2017/10/21/559143650/close-encounters-with-congressClose Encounters With Congress?October 21, 2017 by Scott Simon / www.npr.org/people/3874941/scott-simonA congressional candidate in Florida drew a little ridicule this week. Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera, one of the Republicans in the crowded field in Florida's 27th Congressional District, said in 2009 that she was taken aboard a spaceship when she was 7 years old. She does not mean at Disney World. "I went in," she says in a 2009 Spanish language interview that appeared on YouTube this week. "There were some round seats that were there, and some quartz rocks that controlled the ship, not like airplanes. No indeed. On airplanes these days, you have to pay extra for quartz rocks. Aguilera says she met three beings aboard the ship, two women and a man, all blond and tall, which sounds a little like the Swedish pop group ABBA. She says that their arms were outstretched, like the Christ the Redeemer statue that overlooks Rio, and that the beings have communicated with her ever since, telepathically. Well, that way you avoid roaming charges. When the Miami Herald called the candidate for a statement, Aguilera said a couple of former presidents have claimed to see UFOs, adding, "I join the majority of Americans who believe that there must be intelligent life in the billions of planets and galaxies in the universe." In fact, a 2012 poll by National Geographic and Kelton Research says 36 percent of Americans believe UFOs exist. And 11 percent say they've seen a UFO. Of course, Aguilera's saying she has been aboard a UFO and bantered with the crew is a little more involved than just saying you once saw something unidentifiable glow in the sky. I'm actually impressed that a candidate would acknowledge her contacts with extraterrestrial beings. Many voters say they want candidates from outside the Washington, D.C., bubble. You don't get more outside of that bubble than another planet. A candidate who declares extraterrestrial connections is only being transparent, to use a buzzword of our times. Voters have a right to know: Do the extraterrestrial beings have political action committees? Are there extraterrestrial lobbyists? Do they play golf at a Trump National Golf Club? Are they interested in a free trade agreement with Earth, or do they believe in Alpha Centauri First policies? I'm also concerned that the candidate says aliens visited Earth when she was 7 but haven't been back. Does that mean they came to earth in search of intelligent life but said, "Maybe we better just keep looking?" www.npr.org/2017/10/21/559143650/close-encounters-with-congress

mysteriousuniverse.org/2017/12/time-traveler-to-run-for-president-and-reveal-the-technology/ ‘Time Traveler’ to Run for President and Reveal the Technologyby Paul Seaburn / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/paulseaburn/December 13, 2017 Is it too early to announce plans to run for president in 2020 (unless you’re the incumbent)? If the candidate claimed to be a time traveler, would you be worried that he already knows what’s going to happen between now and then and is positioning himself to save (or take over) the country? That alleged time traveler is Andrew Basiago and he not only is running for president (again) but has promised to reveal details about the government’s alleged Project Pegasus, which he claims developed a time machine during the Cold War that he himself rode in back to Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address and the Ford Theater the night of his assassination … and he has a photograph to prove it. Shouldn’t he go back and get some compromising photographs of his opponent? Unfortunately, Basiago no longer has access to the time machine. Perhaps that’s why his campaign platform includes exposing Project Pegasus for what he says it was – a successful project that required a huge amount of taxpayer money but gave no return because the government decided it was too dangerous and shut it down. Now THAT’S how to develop a conspiracy theory without resorting to pizza. Andrew BasiagoNo pizza but nonetheless plenty of politicians. Basiago claims that the CIA used the time machine to identify future presidential candidates and prepare them for their future occupation. He says those candidates included both Bushes, Barack Obama and Donald Trump. Surprisingly, for someone running himself, he doesn’t mention whether the CIA visited him as a child. That may be because he himself was a child when he traveled in time while his father worked for Project Pegasus. Basiago says that, in addition to visiting the times of Lincoln (and bumping into himself on a different trip), he traveled back a million years, visited the future (2045) and went to Mars (teleported, not time traveled) where he saw living beings. Basiago says that kid in the the ill-fitting shoes is him at the Gettysburg Address You’re probably saying to yourself, “He sounds as sane as anyone else running for president these days” and you’re probably right. His statements on his website sound like his heart is in the right place: “Today, Andrew D. Basiago is running for President of the United States with a New Agenda for a New America. He has vowed that if elected President, he will lead the American people into a bold, new era of Truth, Reform, and Innovation as great as they are great. Join us in supporting Andy in his quest to establish a Presidency as honest, just, and ingenious as the American people.” For those who aren’t sure if Tom DeLonge will keep his promise of full disclosure what he knows about secret UFO files, Basiago’s 100 proposals in his New Agenda contain things like: The President should end the ET cover-up in a live, televised address to the American people. The President should disclose the fact that atomic explosions on Earth attracted the ETs. The President should craft an ET contact policy that anticipates a diversity of ET visitors to Earth. The President should answer questions that the American people have about NASA’s lunar program. The President should disclose the existence of the secret US presence on the Red Planet. The President should declassify the secret space program and treaties with off-planet civilizations. There’s 94 more where those came from. If you’d like a time traveling, Mars visiting, alien revealing president, check out Andrew Basiago’s website andy2020.net/ and make sure you’re registered to vote (a good idea anyway). mysteriousuniverse.org/2017/12/time-traveler-to-run-for-president-and-reveal-the-technology/

www.aol.com/article/news/2018/08/22/miami-herald-endorses-candidate-who-says-she-was-taken-by-space-aliens/23507195/ Miami Herald endorses candidate who says she was taken by space aliensby Ron Dicker Aug 22nd 2018 What planet are you from, Miami Herald?
The newspaper is endorsing a Republican congressional candidate who says she was abducted by Jesus-like aliens. Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera, a former Doral councilwoman, is running in the primary to replace the retiring Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen’s (R-Fla.) in Florida’s 27th congressional district. And despite the contender’s out-of-this-world claims, she has the thumbs-up from a major mainstream newspaper. She’s “a strong candidate in the race with plausible conservative ideas,” the Herald wrote. The daily’s editorial board conceded that Rodriguez Aguilera “is an unusual candidate,” but agreed with her that her comments about her close encounter aren’t an issue in the race. In 2009 interviews that the Herald reported on last October, Rodriguez Aguilera claimed she was taken into a ship at age 7 by blond space people who resembled the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, the paper said. They have telepathically communicated off and on since then, she claimed. AdChoices “I went in. There were some round seats that were there, and some quartz rocks that controlled the ship ― not like airplanes,” Rodriguez Aguilera said, according to the Herald. She told the Herald last year that she is merely among “the majority of Americans who believe that there must be intelligent life in the billions of planets and galaxies in the universe.” Addressing more earthly concerns, The Herald wrote in its endorsement: “Her bona fides as a former elected official, and now a businesswoman who spends time in other countries training women to run for office are solid.” Still, perhaps there was some explaining to do: “Here’s why we chose her: She’s not crazy,” Herald editorial page editor Nancy Ancrum told The Washington Post. ”We chose not to see her as a two-dimensional figure. And we chose not to make that an overriding concern. We’re more thoughtful than that.” This article originally appeared on HuffPost. www.aol.com/article/news/2018/08/22/miami-herald-endorses-candidate-who-says-she-was-taken-by-space-aliens/23507195/

www.foxnews.com/science/2018/08/24/florida-candidate-says-alien-abduction-doesnt-define-her.html Nick Pope Verified account @nickpopemod Before ridiculing US House candidate Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera for believing she had an alien abduction experience, let's remind ourselves that most politicians believe in an immortal, invisible super-being, but get a free pass because they call it "God". Florida candidate says alien abduction doesn't define her8-24-2018 by Associated Press / www.ap.org/en-us/U.S. House candidate Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera says she was taken aboard a spaceship as a young girl by blond extraterrestrials who resembled the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. (Courtesy of Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera campaign)
MIAMI (AP) — U.S. House candidate Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera has a long list of accomplishments to bolster her campaign in Florida. But she is perhaps best known for claiming that she was abducted by space aliens as a child. Rodriguez Aguilera is a longshot in the race for the Miami-area seat being vacated by retiring Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. Yet last weekend, the Miami Herald endorsed her for the GOP nomination in the Tuesday primary out of a field of nine candidates. In an interview, Rodriguez Aguilera said she is grateful for the endorsement and that her tale of kidnapping by aliens does not define her. "It has nothing to do with what I have done. It happened when I was 7 years old," she said. "I am so proud of the Herald and what they did." Rodriguez Aguilera says she was taken aboard a spaceship as a young girl by blond extraterrestrials who resembled the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. She says they told her that the "center of the world's energy is Africa" and that thousands of non-human skulls were once discovered in a cave on the Mediterranean island of Malta. She has said she witnessed paranormal activity since then and saw a UFO at age 17. She also said she has been in touch with the aliens telepathically long after the abduction. Even if it's hard to believe there's a starman waiting in the sky, Rodriguez Aguilera won't back down. "I stick to my guns when I believe in something," she said. In its Sunday editorial , the Herald reported that two of the leading Republican candidates — former Miami-Dade commissioner Bruno Barreiro and Spanish-language television journalist Maria Elvira Salazar — did not take part in the paper's endorsement process. And beyond Rodriguez Aguilera, the editorial found the remaining candidates unprepared or unqualified. "We realize that Rodriguez Aguilera is an unusual candidate," the editorial noted, adding that the paper was impressed with her "boots-on-the-ground ideas and experience." Rodriguez Aguilera is a former City Council member in the suburb of Doral who is the daughter of a Cuban political prisoner. She previously was a social worker, ombudsman at the Miami-Dade county manager's office and now runs a business training women in other countries how to run for political office. "The theme of my campaign is people above politics. I train people around the world about democracy," she said. "I have the most experience. I can go in there and start working just as I have all my life." Whoever emerges from the GOP field Tuesday will face one of five Democratic candidates and the seat is considered one of the party's best chances for a switch from the GOP. Polls show the leader on the Democratic side is former Health and Human Services Secretary Donna Shalala, who was also president of the University of Miami and University of Wisconsin. The Herald, however, endorsed state Rep. David Richardson over Shalala. www.foxnews.com/science/2018/08/24/florida-candidate-says-alien-abduction-doesnt-define-her.html

www.rollcall.com/news/hoh/harry-reid-lobbying-ufo-research-reporting Harry Reid pushing for more UFO research Wants a key senator to listen to stories from service members who claim sightingsPosted Jan 10, 2019 by Niels Lesniewski @nielslesniewski / www.rollcall.com/author/nielslesniewskicqrollcall-comFormer Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., is continuing to advocate for UFO research. (Tom Williams/CQ Roll Call file photo) Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is lobbying his former colleagues to do more to study unidentified flying objects. “I personally don’t know if there exists little green men other places, I kind of doubt that, but I do believe that the information we have indicates we should do a lot more study,” the Nevada Democrat said. “We have hundreds and hundreds of people that have seen the same thing — something in the sky, it moves a certain way.” Reid said that also included sightings of vessels at sea. The topic of UFOs was on Reid’s mind Thursday because his interview with KNPR came just before he said he was scheduled to talk with an important senator about setting up a way for members of the military to support exploring suspicious sightings without facing retribution. “I’m going to have a call with a member of the Senate in an hour or two where we have people in the military who want to come and tell somebody what they’ve seen,” Reid said in the interview, declining to identify who that senator is. (Food for thought: Reid’s former deputy, Senate Minority Whip Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., is the ranking member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee.) “What we found in the past is that these pilots, when they see something strange like this, they’re prone not to report it for fear that the bosses will think something’s wrong with them, and they don’t get the promotion,” he said. “So, many, many times they don’t say a word to anybody about these strange things.” “The facts are, they need a place to be able to report this, and that’s what I’m going to work on in a couple of hours, to make sure that somebody I think’s a powerful member in Congress, I want him to be able to sit down and talk to some of these pilots who have seen these things,” Reid said. “I can arrange this because of the contacts I have with members of the Congress.” Back in December 2017, the New York Times reported on a Pentagon program to study UFO sightings that came about because of Reid’s advocacy back when he was serving in the Senate. “We spent a lot of money, and it was an extremely important study,” Reid said Thursday, calling setting up the program,“one of the easiest sells I ever had to make.” He recalled again how he lobbied the leaders of the Senate Appropriation’s Defense Subcommittee to get money for the project, and how the late Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, was entirely on board because of a suspicious aircraft he cited during his own time as military pilot. But Reid said that the Pentagon has not done enough since then. “Frankly, I think the federal government has done almost nothing to help us with this,” Reid said. During the interview, Reid also said he knew a lot more about classified operations undertaken at Area 51 in his home state of Nevada. “Oh sure, I’ve been to Area 51. I know Area 51. I don’t know if I should say many times, but lots and lots of times. I know Area 51 quite well, I know what they’ve done there,” said Reid. “I don’t know in recent years, of course, but I know what went on there.” www.rollcall.com/news/hoh/harry-reid-lobbying-ufo-research-reportingHarry Reid urges senators to push for more UFO research thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/424808-harry-reid-urges-senators-to-push-for-more-ufo-research

silvarecord.com/2019/02/28/major-hints-from-reid-knapp-statements-refute-dia-pentagon-claims/ “Major Hints” From Reid/Knapp; Statements Refute DIA/Pentagon ClaimsFebruary 28, 2019 “Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid dropped major hints that he knows potential adversaries russia and china have carried out their own military studies to figure out how ufos work and how to build their own.” – George Knapp Major hints, indeed! Weeks ago, the first part of George Knapp’s most recent interview with former Senator Harry Reid was broadcast by KLAS Las Vegas. silvarecord.com/2019/02/01/knapp-releases-4th-dird-by-ulf-leonhardt-interviews-harry-reid/ Tonight, the second installation aired. www.lasvegasnow.com/news/local-news/i-team-former-sen-reid-wants-ufo-studies-made-public/1815200177 While the world has now viewed the interview, there are important, intricate sections and new information that need highlighting and further analysis. Let’s go: 1. AAWSAP was much more than the thirty-eight Defense Intelligence Reference Documents (DIRDs). The DIA is either wrong or not truthful when they state the only AAWSAP studies they were aware of were the DIRDs. “The Pentagon has only confirmed the existence of 38 unclassified scientific papers produced by the study — five of those have been made public, so far. But what else is in the files? Reid previously confirmed that the study investigated reports of UFO activity over American nuclear missile bases. He also says part of the focus was on a mysterious ranch in northeastern Utah, a property once owned by businessman Robert Bigelow.” – George Knapp The mention of “the files” and what they contain contradicts statements from the DIA, who have allegedly said they weren’t aware of any studies produced outside the thirty-eight DIRDs. Are the DIA spokespeople misinformed or purposefully lying? We already know of other odd contradictions in the past. silvarecord.com/2019/02/17/aatip-did-not-end/ Who should be held accountable for these oversights, admissions, or worse by government entities? One thing is for sure, the public deserves forthright, complete and accurate information which they are not receiving. 2. George Knapp has now confirmed AAWSAP had more than fifty employees. “The I-Team has learned Bigelow’s UFO study employed more than 50 people at one point.” – George Knapp This again goes along with what was produced by AAWSAP. Keith Bastefield has done a great job investigating how many employees AAWSAP had. We’ve been told that many, or most, of the DIRD authors were contracted by AAWSAP. I don’t know for sure, but I would guess that means the majority weren’t actual members or employees (while some probably were.) Are we supposed to believe that these fifty or more employees sat around and did very little other than hire scientists, physicists and engineers to write papers for them? The scope of AAWSAP was huge and wide ranging. The employee’s work and accomplishments were prolific and profound. 3. We now know the full name of one of the most intriguing DIRDs, “Anomalous Acute And Subacute Field Effects on Human Biological Tissues,” written by Dr. Kit Green. “One of the known 38 papers looked into the harmful health consequences for persons who have had close encounters. The paper has not been made public but the chief scientist in the program spoke about it last year in Las Vegas. ‘We as part of this program looked at some cases that were really good from Brazil. In 1977, 78, it was like Close Encounters of the Third Kind, a thousand pages of documents all done by the Brazilian Air Force investigative team, 500 photographs, 15 hours of motion film, a lot of medical injuries when people encountered these craft at close range,’ said Dr. Hal Puthoff, BAASS physicist.” – George Knapp The DIRD list silvarecord.com/2019/01/17/38th-dird-title-surfaces-with-letter-addressed-to-mccain-armed-services-committee/ that George Knapp released last July www.lasvegasnow.com/news/exclusive-i-team-obtains-some-key-documents-related-to-pentagon-ufo-study/1324250087 had this document titled as “Field Effects on Biological Tissues.” As with some of the other DIRDs, that seems to have been a working title or an abbreviated version. A common theme and one of the most important UFO events of all time took place at Colares Island, Brazil. (For a detailed report on this, read Jacques Vallee’s Confrontations.) It now seems this DIRD at least partially references that event. One of the most debated topics in the UFO community is whether “the others” are good or bad. Someone I hold in extremely high regard thinks the the ratio of experiences is about 75% good to 25% bad. That very well could be accurate. Colares would be an example of the 25% and as another friend once told me, it’s an example that at least all of the others aren’t our “space brothers.” Do the DIRDs contain all out smoking guns? My guess would be no, but it is my belief the closest any of them would come to that would be this one. Out of all the DIRDs this is the document myself and “Twitter User Jay” have been the most interested in. I’ve been hoping it would be released. Who knows if that will ever happen due to its sensitive nature, but since we now know the full accurate title, maybe more can be dug up. 4. Harry Reid once again reiterates there were (are?) More UFO Programs! Despite hints, and even some direct statements, from Lue Elizondo, George Knapp, Jeremy Corbell and others, when I published this story (highlighting Giuliano Marinkovic‘s breakthrough inference via Dr. Bernard Haisch’s articles) I caught a lot of flak. If all these statements from important trustworthy individuals weren’t enough, Harry Reid‘s now repeated declarations that other programs have studied UFOs leaves all of us who believed this to be true feeling nothing short of vindicated. Not only that, but Harry Reid tried to get a look at what these programs had produced. “Other programs that have been done and information they have, including different pieces of evidence.” – Harry Reid When George Knapp asked: “Do you know what those pieces are?” Former Senator Harry Reid replied “No, I’ve just heard rumors and I’m not going to get into rumors but that’s why I wanted special access to go there, and if I couldn’t go there, to have my staff go look at it.” We knew Harry Reid wanted AATIP to become a Special Access Program (SAP) and they were denied. We learned this from Harry Reid’s 2009 letter released by George Knapp coupled with follow up comments from Mr. Knapp. Dr. Bernard Haisch also stated this, which only adds more credibility to his claims. media.lasvegasnow.com/nxsglobal/lasvegasnow/document_dev/2018/07/25/Reid_letter_2009_1532565293943_49621615_ver1.0.pdfThis has been yet another hugely important Harry Reid interview segment by George Knapp. Just one in a series of blockbuster reports that further solidify two things: 1. Harry Reid is the most open (and maybe most significant) politician in the history of the UFO subject and 2. George Knapp is hands down the greatest journalist in the UFO field, the likes of which I seriously doubt we will ever see reproduced by anyone, even as this journey we are all on continues to unfold. silvarecord.com/2019/02/28/major-hints-from-reid-knapp-statements-refute-dia-pentagon-claims/I-Team: Former Sen. mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/03/former-polish-leader-lech-walesa-believes-in-ufos-and-warns-of-an-et-invasion/ Former Polish Leader Lech Walesa Believes in UFOs and Warns of an ET Invasionby Paul Seaburn / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/paulseaburn/March 29, 2019 When a current or former world leader professes a belief in UFOs, the public ponders about their sanity and about what they might really know concerning the cause of unidentified flying objects. When that world leader also warns about potentially catastrophic extraterrestrial invasions, ears and antennas both go up. That was the case last week in Poland, when former Polish president and head of the Solidarity movement Lech Walesa pontificated on UFOs, aliens and their role in the potential demise of Earth as we know it. Lech Walesa “There are three levels of intellectual development on other galaxies. We are the lowest. And the higher civilization comes as a UFO and others, and looks at what they are doing here. If we threaten to destabilize here with Macron, Putin there, they will interrupt us, cut us in half, the Earth will collapse, everyone will crush.” Multiple Polish media sources reported on a speech Walesa made to a civic club in Krosno, an ancient city in southwestern Poland. While not there to talk about UFOs, Lech wandered off the script (as world leaders seem to do a lot these days) and worked UFOs and “higher civilizations” into the conversation. While he doesn’t seem to have spoken publicly about his belief in UFOs and aliens, his comments suggest he’s of the opinion that they’re the type that’s observing us without interference (the ‘zoo’ theory) but will move in if they feel the need. Then he warns that actions by current politicians (French president Emmanuel Macron and Russian president Vladimir Putin) could trigger just such a decision by a higher civilization of watchers. Walesa believes their interference would not be benevolent and the consequences would be long-lasting. (If you understand Polish, you can watch the entire speech here. The UFO comments begin at 1h 04m 56 sec.) “(The higher civilization (can hold us that way for five thousand years. They will send Adam and Eve and we will build the world again.” It also appears from his comments that Walesa at least considers the possibility that an alien civilization has interfered with humans before. “People find things, dig in stones, these pyramids … no answer, where did it come from?” Why didn’t the higher civilization interfere with this? Does Lech Walesa know something we don’t? While there’s no indication that he himself has had a UFO or alien encounter, Poland has had a number of them. The most famous is the so-called Emilcin incident in 1978 when a farmer from that eastern Polish town allegedly met olive-skinned aliens who took him onboard their ship. Polish UFO researcher and author Piotr Cielebiaś says there were plenty of reports of alien encounters by military pilots until Poland joined NATO in 1999. Walesa was president from December 1990 to December 1995 so he undoubtedly was aware of these reports. Why did Lech Walesa feel the need to talk about UFOs and extraterrestrial invasions now? What does he REALLY know? mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/03/former-polish-leader-lech-walesa-believes-in-ufos-and-warns-of-an-et-invasion/

www.ufojoe.net/?p=846&fbclid=IwAR2p-Fv5EGm-K9BIsICD97zvOHjC7xzOsZmib5Q2dWUveYTuWJHhKBNslzUMy Interview With Senator Harry Reid: “People Are Afraid To Step Out For Fear Of People Criticizing Them For Talking About Extraterrestrial Things”By admin UFO JOE / www.ufojoe.net/16 Apr , 2019 HARRY REID After listening to numerous interviews and lectures where award-winning, investigative reporter, George Knapp, has detailed the history between himself, former Senator Harry Reid and UFOs, I’ve decided that Reid strikes me as a UFO aficionado. And in a big time stroke of luck, I stumbled upon an interview with the former Senate majority leader last month here in Vegas and had the opportunity to ask him a few of my own questions on the subject. I didn’t know if he’d be open to speaking about it with me, a stranger with a blog, but I certainly was going to give it a shot. Knapp has said that he first discussed the subject of UFOs with Senator Reid way back in 1989, in a limo, on the way to McCarran Airport here in Las Vegas. The Bob Lazar phenomenon was just about to be unleashed upon the world and Knapp shared what he knew. Reid was interested in the story and the subject matter and has remained that way ever since. That interest and curiosity led to him – among other things – sitting in on NIDS (National Institute for Discovery Science) board meetings, helping to procure UFO documents for Knapp and discussing the subject with astronaut and Senator, John Glenn. But the thing Reid will most be remembered for is spearheading the creation of the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Application Program, which expanded beyond the study of nuts and bolts flying saucers and looked at everything paranormal. That included, most importantly, an investigation into the infamous and mysterious Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. (For more on how that all came about and much, much more, check out the transcript of George Knapp’s recent lecture at UFO MegaCon in Laughlin, Nevada. It’s basically everything you always wanted to know about AAWSAP, AATIP, Reid and UFOs but were afraid to ask. It’s a must read.) On March 11th, I received an email from a company that was looking for a cameraman to shoot a short “testimonial interview” here in Vegas in a few days. I get those kind of offers all the time and I accepted. But I had no idea who I was going to be shooting. Several emails later, I was told it would be a former politician. No big deal. I’ve shot plenty of interviews with politicians. A few emails after that, I was given specifics. The former politician I was going to be shooting with was Senator Harry Reid. What? Are you kidding me? I couldn’t contain myself. I immediately thought about what I was going to ask him! And I also immediately started getting butterflies in my stomach. Nerves. Stay calm. Stay calm. Vegas has a ton of camera operators and videographers. Considering my obsession with UFOs, what are the odds that I would be the one chosen to work with Reid, one of the biggest and most respected names in the UFO world today? This was a major synchronicity in my book. It wasn’t guaranteed that I would be able to ask him any questions about UFOs because that’s not what I was hired for. But I prepared some questions anyway. Just in case. On the day of the shoot, I met my friend (who was running sound) at Reid’s office and we brought all of our equipment in. His executive assistant led us to the man who helped change the landscape of Ufology and who I feel might go down in history as one of the most important politicians in the world. I was nervous but had to stay calm and complete the shoot, which was over in fifteen minutes. And as my heart raced, I asked Reid if I could talk to him about UFOs. He agreed. What follows is the transcript of that interview. If I had to do it over again, I’d ask lots more questions. My nerves got the best of me. I’m disappointed in my lack of follow-ups but overall, I’m happy that was able to get anything. And Reid didn’t disappoint. It was clear to me that this was a subject he enjoyed talking about. And we’re lucky to have him on our side. ~~~~~ Harry Reid Interview – March 15th, 2019 Joe Murgia: What kind of progress have you had with talking to folks in Congress about hearings on UFOs? Senator Harry Reid: What’s happened so far is people are interested in the subject and I’ve been able to meet with certain staff. But we’ve not found any Senators that are really interested in the subject. And that’s too bad. I’ve found in this matter, as important as it is, that people are afraid to step out for fear of people criticizing them for talking about extraterrestrial things…observations. And I think that’s wrong. I was, from the very beginning, interested in this subject for some time and for a lot of reasons. I was always out front in my feelings. And I always felt that we should approach this on a scientific basis. A year or so ago I was called by a New York Magazine reporter. They said they wanted to do a story on what my work had been with flying saucers. Look, I’m happy to do the interview. But if you’re looking for me to talk to you about little green men and all kinds of things like that? I won’t do it. If you want to talk about the science, I’ll do it. And we had a really good interview and a good story in New York Magazine. So that’s how I feel about it. I feel people should not be afraid of the subject. I don’t have any of the answers that would probably make a lot of difference. I have some answers. And we have flying saucers. It’s not a question of ten people have seen them. A hundred. A thousand. Thousands and thousands and thousands of people have seen them. And I mean observations of unidentified flying objects that have been there. Also we have hundreds of people watching them at one time. So I think its something we should look at it and try and figure out what’s going on. Whether we figure it out right now or not, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do everything we can to find out. I’ve said before and I believe this: KGB is heavily involved in Russia. The former head of the KGB is president of Russia. I guarantee you they’re looking at some of this stuff. I bet China is. I bet other countries are. America should not be any different. We should be looking at this intensely. Murgia: Can the American people do anything as far as force our government’s hand on Congressional hearings? Maybe petitions? Would that matter? Reid: I think that they should…any time there’s a town hall meeting or any type of public event that you could talk to your member of Congress, you should ask them about it. You’ll find most of them won’t answer directly. But that’s what they should do. Murgia: You think maybe some of the newer members of Congress, the younger people coming in may be more open to it? The ones who are pushing for a New Green Deal? Maybe there’s a connection with new energy or propulsion related to the unidentified craft? Reid: I don’t think it has anything to do with age. I think it has everything to do with interest. I found some of the most interesting people are people who have spent a lot of their life trying to figure out what’s going on. So I don’t think it’s necessarily something that just young people are interested in. Murgia: How does getting the AAWSAP program started with Inouye and Stevens rank versus your other political accomplishments? For me, it’s huge. Reid: Somebody else will have to judge that. I’ve done quite a bit of stuff. Murgia: How do you feel about it? Reid: Oh, I’m glad I did it. Murgia: Any opinion on Bob Lazar? Reid: I’ve watched his films and all that. I think there’s probably an element of truth to it. I don’t accept all of what he says. I think there’s something to it. I can’t say he’s a fool, you know. I’ve watched him. Seems like a nice guy and he believes what he’s saying. Kind of like…I watched a film recently on the great folk singer Pete Seeger. And they accused him of being a Communist. So he went before the House Committee on Un-American Activities and testified. They said, “Are you a Communist?” He said, “I believe what I believe and I’ll continue to believe in what I believe. I’m not gonna tell you any more.” He never ever told them whether he was or wasn’t. They black listed him, of course. Murgia: How hard was it for you to keep the funding for AAWSAP? Was everybody coming at you from all angles to try to cancel the funding? Reid: No, because they didn’t know it was there. It was all hidden money. Nobody knew it was there except Inouye and Stevens. So-called black money. Murgia: There are rumors that there are other UFO programs. You think they would be located in Special Access Programs, where the public has no access to them? Reid: They would have to be. Murgia: Thank you. Reid: You bet. Good luck with your blog. Murgia: Thank you. www.ufojoe.net/?p=846&fbclid=IwAR2p-Fv5EGm-K9BIsICD97zvOHjC7xzOsZmib5Q2dWUveYTuWJHhKBNslzU

mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/11/british-politician-drops-out-because-of-her-views-on-extraterrestrials-in-government/ British Politician Drops Out Because of Her Views on Extraterrestrials in Governmentby Paul Seaburn / November 9, 2019 With everything happening in politics in the U.S., it’s hard to imagine that other countries have similar problems and scandals. It’s even harder to imagine other countries having to deal with scandals involving UFOs and aliens of the extraterrestrial kind. Yet that’s exactly what going on in Great Britain, where most people are probably happy for a distraction from Brexit. That list probably doesn’t include Jill ‘J.J.’ Hughes. “To this day J.J.Hughes believes in elves/fairies/mermaids/unicorns and all things Elemental and Other Worldly…She has had numerous prophetic premonitions – usually about death, which so far despite a few close shaves she has escaped. She came to believe in reincarnation in her mid-twenties when her old horse Red made a re-appearance, this time as a palomino called Hooray Henry.” OK, that excerpt from the Amazon bio for Hughes’ 2018 novel, “Spirit of Prophesy,” about a psychic detective isn’t too bad. However, a little more digging into Hughes’ past by the anti-right campaign group Hope Not Hate uncovered a quote by Hughes on a website for “Energy Healers, Lightworkers, Starseeds and anyone going through the ascension process healers.” “I have just come to truly realise that my purpose is to raise consciousness here on earth – I originated from Sirius.” That’s Sirius the star, not the satellite radio service, which only offends people unhappy with their monthly fees. However, Hughes’ 23 years in the banking industry and her newsletter, “Money Magnet – The Art of Prosperity,” was enough to convince the Brexit Party to overlook what star her planet orbited at birth and picked her to be their candidate to win a parliamentary seat from Batley and Spen, a constituency in West Yorkshire currently represented by a member of the Labour and Co-operative Party. That is, until they read the acknowledgements in her book. “The E.T’s, some of them less than Apple Pie wholesome or Positive pumpkins, are already here working with our world Governments, but that’s all hush-hush for now.” [img src="https://mysteriousuniverse.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/brexit-4597392_640.png" alt=" According to the Yorkshire Post, poor Jill Hughes felt the pressure from Brexit Party leaders and activists and dropped out of the race. A picture of her attending a party meeting and comments on social media don’t confirm this, but the Brexit Party did. There were no other comments from Hughes at the time of this writing. So, it’s OK for certain wild-haired politicians to be in British government, but not extraterrestrials. And it’s even worse to believe this idea and express it out in the open. In the U.S., politicians who support full disclosure of UFO and extraterrestrial encounters are admired and elected, and even those who are professed alien abductees or authors of books about Bigfoot sex are still allowed to stay in their campaigns until election day, where the voters generally don’t vote for them. But at least they’re given the chance. As we know in the U.S., candidates with far more radical, controversial and even dangerous views run and are sometimes elected. Even Marianne Williamson, a spiritual leader, is still running for president. Doesn’t Jill Hughes deserve the same chance? A Sirius chance? mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/11/british-politician-drops-out-because-of-her-views-on-extraterrestrials-in-government/

Harry Reid Believes in Aliens, Urges Politicians to Not Be AfraidReid says the Pentagon must continue investigating UFOs with "no boundaries on what we look for."by Jason Koebler / www.vice.com/en_us/contributor/jason-koeblerMay 7 2020 Image: Office of Sen. Harry Reid Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has done more than any other lawmaker to support the search for UFOs, which he says doesn't mean a whole lot. “The sad part about it is no one else has done anything, so saying I’ve done more than anybody else is no big deal,” Reid told Motherboard on the CYBER podcast. “There’s no one doing anything and that’s too bad.” Reid was the architect of two Pentagon programs designed to look for and study UFOs, unidentified aerial phenomena, and advanced propulsion technologies. These two programs, called the Advanced Aerospace Threat and Identification Program and the Advanced Aerospace Weapons Systems Applications Program, had $22 million in funding between 2007 and 2012 through a Congressional “black budget,” and were run through a company called Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies, which worked on it along with the Pentagon. Since the programs became public in 2017 thanks to a New York Times investigation and the man who ran the program, Luis Elizondo, Reid has given a few interviews where he’s said he wants to focus on “science,” not “little green men.” But Reid, in an interview with Motherboard this week, said that he does believe in extraterrestrial life. “I look at it this way,” Reid said. “The world as we know it today is extremely large. It’s so big I can’t comprehend it. And I think that we as human beings have to be a little short sighted if we think we’re the only species in the entire universe. In the entire universe there is for sure more than one [species].” Though that statement should not be terribly controversial and reflects a viewpoint held by many scientists, it's not one that has been taken by many politicians, and certainly not by someone who had as much power as Reid did. Reid also said he believes it is impossible to separate studying UFOs from searching for aliens. “I don’t think you can separate them. I think it’s all one big basket of stuff,” he said. “We learned with the work that we did that the sightings of aerial phenomenon has not been seen by a couple dozen people, not a couple hundred people. Thousands of people. Thousands of people. We have that down pretty pat. We know that unusual things have happened over decades on a regular basis and we know that in the Dakotas, a missile launching facility has been shut down because of something over one of them basically shutting off the power to them. We know the accounts off the coast of San Diego where ships have found these unusual things in the water and it shut down the communications on the ships.” CONTINUE READING: www.vice.com/en_us/article/wxqea5/former-senator-harry-reid-believes-in-aliens-urges-politicians-to-not-be-afraid

mysteriousuniverse.org/2021/12/harry-reid-longtime-proponent-of-ufo-investigation-and-disclosure-dies-at-82R.I.P Harry Reid, Longtime Proponent of UFO Investigation and Disclosure, Dies at 82by Paul Seaburn / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/paulseaburn/December 30, 2021 The world of UFO and extraterrestrial study and disclosure has never had a better proponent that former Nevada Senator and Senate majority leader Harry Reid, who passed away on December 28th at the age of 82. Other media sources will detail his remarkable life and long political career, but many are leaving out the impact he had on the paranormal world by approving secretly a fund for UFO studies and publicly pushing for more.Harry Reid “One day in 1996, I received a call from George Knapp, an investigative reporter at KLAS-TV, the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, and a friend of mine. “Harry,” he said, “there’s something you have to attend.” He invited me to an upcoming conference that would focus on what the U.S. government generally refers to as “unidentified aerial phenomena,” but what most other people simply call U.F.O.s, a subject Mr. Knapp had, and still has, a particular interest in.” George Knapp indeed still has an interest in UFOs and we’re forever indebted to him for introducing then Nevada Senator Harry Reid to the subject, as was Reid in his 2021 New York Times article on the subject. It seems strange that the Senator representing Area 51 had little interest in UFOs, but that conference and his friendship with fellow senator and former astronaut John Glenn led Reid to ‘cross the aisle’ in 2007 and join forces with Republican Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska and Democrat Daniel Inouye of Hawaii (Reid was Senate majority leader at the time) to put $22 million in the Pentagon budget for what became known as the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (ATTIP). “I think it’s one of the good things I did in my congressional service. I’ve done something that no one has done before.” Reid stated in 2009 that ATTIP made “much progress” with the “identification of several highly sensitive, unconventional aerospace-related findings” that will “likely lead to technology advancements.” It ended in 2012 but was continued secretly continued, and become famous through the work of Luis Elizondo, its former head, and the release of the videos of the now famous Tic Tac UFOs encountered by US Navy pilots and ship personnel. “I think that I have opened the door to people not being afraid to talk about it. I know that when I first got involved in this, people in the military were afraid to mention it for fear of it hurting their promotions. But now the Pentagon has told them they should report all these things that they see that are unusual. So we made a tremendous amount of progress.” Progress indeed! Senators Marco Rubio of Florida and Kirsten Gillibrand of New York picked up where Reid left off after retiring and were instrumental in passing an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act to establish an “Anomaly Surveillance and Resolution Office” which, among other things, will reverse-engineer UFOs. That’s a long way from the dreams of Harry Reid, who said that has a young boy in rural Searchlight, Nevada, he often looked up at the shooting stars. That interest continued until the day he died – Reid both pushed for more public interest in UFOs and pushed governments – ours and others – to be open about them. “I believe that there is information uncovered by the government’s covert investigations into unidentified aerial phenomena that can be disclosed to the public without harming our national security.” In his powerful position, Reid was a witness to what the covert investigations had found and, though sometimes misquoted, was always honest about it. “The truth, disappointing as it may be, is that there’s still a great deal we don’t understand. It’s unclear whether the U.F.O.s we have encountered could have been built by foreign adversaries, whether our pilots’ visual perception during some encounters was somehow distorted, or whether we truly have credible evidence of extraterrestrial visitations. There may be other, as yet unknown explanations for some of these strange sightings.” Harry Reid Harry Reid had no problem with those who believed as a matter of faith that UFOs bore extraterrestrials from other worlds, but he always pushed to “lead with the science“ and get away from “conspiratorial theories and quack ideas.” He often said he finally came to “know Area 51 quite well” and “know what they’ve done there.” He had no reason to ‘storm’ it, but he respected the security surrounding the advanced testing going on there in his home state. The last line of one of his last articles would make a fitting tombstone epitaph for the late Senator Harry Reid – the best friend UFOs ever had. “Because the more I learn, the more I realize that there’s still so much I don’t know.” Thank you, Harry Reid. mysteriousuniverse.org/2021/12/harry-reid-longtime-proponent-of-ufo-investigation-and-disclosure-dies-at-82
