And there you have it, straight from the White House's mouth, so to speak. UFO aficionados, skeptics and believers alike have waited patiently since September to see how the Obama administration would respond to two petitions under the new "We the People" program. According to the official response written and released Friday evening by Phil Larson at the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy, while the government is saying it has "no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race," the door is still open to the possibility and search efforts "of life outside our planet." And those efforts include the ongoing Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence -- or SETI -- which uses ground-based telescopes to try and tune in to signals from another world. Larson's response also mentions the Kepler spacecraft in Earth's orbit, searching for Earth-like planets, and the upcoming Mars Science Laboratory, a car-size vehicle that will explore the geology of the red planet to look for any of the building blocks of life. Undoubtedly, the minions who believe that Earth has already been visited by at least one race of extraterrestrials -- citing photographic, film, video tape, radar returns and landing traces as evidence -- will surely be disappointed with the White House's "no evidence" stance. Steven Bassett, who penned the first alien disclosure petition in September, isn't satisfied with the White House response and has announced on his Paradigm Research Group site his intention of filing another petition. "The [White House] response was unacceptable. Much feedback is likely. PRG will begin to pre-promote a new petition relevant to the Disclosure process ... and will continue to keep the Disclosure issue front and center within this attempt at participatory democracy by the Obama administration," Bassett wrote. For some reason they are tying this in with the release of a new video game..in other words..as usual taking the spotlight off of everything else. "The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race." The official White House response also states that "there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye." One questions remains: Why did the White House respond to these petitions when they were short 8,000 signatures? There were other petitions that did not get a response concerning same-sex marriage, Keystone XL Pipeline, and the Electoral College. At the time of this posting, only the Electoral College petition had more than 17,000 signatures. It has gained 19,082 signatures so far, and the White House has yet issue a response." news.yahoo.com/blogs/trending-now/white-house-denies-existence-extraterrestrials-modern-warfare-video-165645277.htmlIt will always be this way until ET drives away with the president and then it will be cause for celebration. It cannot be admitted (if they have something to admit) because it brands them liars and backs up every government conspiracy theory going. Disclosure...is a joke

Have you also noticed that the way they are responding to us is as if we are a bunch of idiots? The programs that they listed, like Kepler and SETI are things that are common knowledge among everybody, even in the mainstream news media. Did those imbiciles in the White House not consider the fact that we study this stuff constantly? We probably know more about those projects than they do! Stupid government!

Sky & Auntym............. specially requesting your thoughts... regards, Srinivas Yes, we do have what is called the Freedom of Information Act which means that people can file a petition asking for the release of documents related to certain matters. The problem is that the people who process the FOIA requests work for the government, and since it is the government that is hiding the information, in many cases they still don't allow people to see it. Even if they do release the documents they are sometimes completely blacked out with black ink so nobody can read anything on the page. The just recently proposed a new law that would even allow them to lie to the people who file the requests and say that no documents exist! That means they are trying to make lying legal! WTH? It's bad enough that they do it already but now they are going to legalize it so they can't get in trouble for it when the truth finally comes out. The people who run our government are worthless. Stupid government!

FOne questions remains: Why did the White House respond to these petitions when they were short 8,000 signatures? There were other petitions that did not get a response concerning same-sex marriage, Keystone XL Pipeline, and the Electoral College. I think it is because - the other questions such as homosexual marriages ( ;D sorry...we don't have a lot of this culture in India.. If they adopt a kid.. the kids say Father and Father or Mother and Mother??? ;D no offense but I find it very funny as I think of it); electoral college ( i am assuming they banned elections in colleges) etc. are governance related issues that have an impact on the socio-economic well being of the nation. While ufology is relatively harmless. I guess thats why they responded to this while for the others - they may be either still formulating a response.. or have chosen to keep silent for the minute! Even if they do release the documents they are sometimes completely blacked out with black ink so nobody can read anything on the page. Out here, they would simply not respond to that or say the documents were 'lost'.. hehehe ;D Well there was this time the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) a lot of evidence to book a politician or his son (I don't exactly remember)..there were a few files pending that the CBI had to gather from the Secretariat (like signed approvals, bills and such). They were going to collect these say on Monday, THAT particular office/room caught fire on Sunday night, no one was there to attend the fire.. and all the documents were burnt. Il tell you the heights of it.. none of the neighbouring rooms were affected Anyways.. recently in India, people have gotten very frustrated with the govt. They sort of totally lost faith. There was a huge pan-India movement here... to end corruption and such.. Lead by this guy called - Anna Hazare en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Indian_anti-corruption_movementI think theres something similar is going on at WallStreet Newyork? regards, Srinivas

To answer that question, the child of a homosexual couple will either call them both dad or both mom. Because of the business I was in I had couples of both sex for clients as well as singles and more standard couples. There wasn't much difference when it came to children actually. If you are around a situation long enough..it doesn't stand out any more. They addressed the question of UFO's without the necessary signatures as more of a way to put the petitioners in their place. "See..we're going out of our way to be compliant..there are no UFO's guys..you're all nuts but we're trying to placate you". That was that message loud and clear. They want the more mainstream people to see us as nuts. So ok..I'm a nut..I was still abducted by those non existent visitors.

www.mohavedailynews.com/articles/2011/11/14/news/nation_and_world/doc4ec0cd830fd7d656472945.txt Nevada believers scoff at White House dismissal of UFOsPublished: Monday, November 14, 2011 LAS VEGAS (AP) — In an announcement that further punctures the lore surrounding Area 51 and figures to deflate — or inflame — the most ardent believers in “The X-Files,” the White House says outer space aliens have not made contact with Earth. There are no captured flying saucers. No preserved alien bodies in Nevada. Nor at Roswell, N.M., for that matter. “Independence Day,” which depicted a U.S. alien research base deep under the desert, was .... just a movie. That’s the official word, anyway. “The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race,” the Obama administration said in a statement. “In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.” “The fact is we have no credible evidence of extraterrestrial presence here on Earth,” according to the statement posted to the White House website and attributed to Phil Larson, a research assistant at the Office of Science and Technology Policy. The statement “is the first time since this issue exploded in the public’s mindset in 1947 that the executive branch has issued a formal position in writing on this issue. The first time in history,” said Stephen Bassett, a physicist, researcher and Washington lobbyist who contends the government has been engaged in a long cover-up about the existence of UFOs. But is the government to be believed when it says there are no ETs, in the face of evidence gathered and stories long told about strange lights in the sky, unexplainable photo images, and deep-in-the-night human abductions and weird experimentation? “Of course not,” said Bassett, who said the White House disclosure gives him and others fresh opportunities to challenge government officials and pry out the real truth. They’re not buying it either in Rachel, which has built a tourist trade from science fiction fans who drive in on Nevada Route 375 — renamed The Extraterrestrial Highway — looking for the center of UFO activity in the town 25 miles northeast of the secretive Area 51 military installation. “The president is living proof that there’s life outside Earth,” said Sharon Taylor, a waitress at the Little A’Le’Inn, where it’s said, “You can get a bite to eat and maybe share a close encounter.” “The height of conceit is to believe we are the only intelligence in the vastness,” Taylor said between taking lunch orders Monday. “The human race went from horse and buggy to walking on the moon in 69 years. Please, we had to have help.” The White House statement, posted Nov. 4, comes in response to two public petitions created online. One, organized by Bassett, which had accumulated 12,078 signatures as of Nov. 7, demands the government “formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.” President Barack Obama had promised that petitions gaining at least 5,000 signatures within 30 days would get a response. Bassett said it took him four days to reach that goal. The threshold for an official petition response has since been bumped up to 25,000 signatures. By denying the existence of aliens, Obama “probably did the UFO crowd a favor” by putting to rest their high hopes that he might be the “disclosure president” on extraterrestrials, said George Knapp, a veteran Las Vegas journalist who has covered the phenomenon for more than 20 years. “Now they can get on to something else.” Knapp writes a column for City Life, an alternative weekly published by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s parent company, the Stephens Media Group. Knapp said “there’s reams of stuff” in government records concerning UFOs. “If somebody wants to look at the evidence, it’s there,” he said. gralienreport.com/ufos/leslie-kean-chimes-in-on-why-the-recent-disclosure-petition-failed/November 20, 2011
Leslie Kean Chimes in on Why the Recent “Disclosure” Petition Failed[/color] This sounds familiar… following a dismissal by government officials of there being any extraterrestrial presence on Earth, journalist Leslie Kean, author of the book UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go on the Record, has shared her own thoughts as to why the well-intended (but inherently flawed) “We the People” petition calling for alien disclosure failed. As usual, Leslie is right on the money with her analysis, as well as her criticisms of the poor wording of the petition, and expressed virtually the same sentiment that I did in this article here at The Gralien Report only a few weeks ago. “I don’t think the majority of us really expected that the White House would be forthcoming with any evidence of extraterrestrials they might have,” I wrote on November 6th, “and to be clear, whether or not extraterrestrials have anything to do with the greater UFO mystery, despite popular opinions on the subject, remains unclear. That’s why it is the opinion of this humble ufologist that, while disappointing to some in the field, the White House response is neither surprising, nor is it inaccurate.” In keeping with my own sentiments expressed above, Leslie Kean wrote an excellent piece that appeared at the Huffington Post recently, in which she said that, “Thousands of people signed on to the assumptions that extraterrestrial beings have been secretly talking to our government or somehow are involved with the whole human race. Try thinking about these bizarre and murky statements from the perspective of a scientifically-oriented government official. How is he to make sense of such absurd requests?” The entire article can be viewed by clicking here. Additionally, Kean continues by pointing out the inherent flaws with the way the petitions were worded: Neither petition had anything to do with the subject of UFOs, as properly defined; no request for data on UFOs was included… Consequently, it’s entirely logical that Larson (who answered the petition) would not make the leap from the question of extraterrestrial communications to the issue of physical unidentified flying objects. Did the petitioners not expect that their requests would be taken at face value? CONTINUE READING: gralienreport.com/ufos/leslie-kean-chimes-in-on-why-the-recent-disclosure-petition-failed/

Just to illustrate further, the article fails to indicate who is in the photo above with Leslie, Mr. John Callahan, former head of the Federal Aviation Administration's Accidents, Evaluations and Investigations Division in the 1980s. A fantastic guy who thought ahead and saved much of the evidence the CIA at the White House meeting on the Japan Airlines case tried to make disappear and said at the meeting - 'this meeting never happened'. The 'lieing eyes' of the government.
John Callahan is one of my heros in UFOlogy! The White House doesn't know anything about UFO's? I believe Calahan! An honest public servant.

www.afterdisclosure.com/2011/12/real-majestic-twelve.html 12 Real Documents the White House Needs to Read Before Answering Any UFO PetitionAsk people what they think about UFOs, and you’re sure to get opinions ranging through all extremes and nuances. Some are so embarrassed by the topic that they simply refuse to consider any evidence whatsoever, like the Pope refusing to look through Galileo’s telescope. Others claim not only to be certain that aliens are here, but to have exact, insider knowledge of what it’s all about. Between these extremes are endless variations. It’s the same with how we approach the subject. Some people read UFO books for fun, like a mystery novel or scary story. Others are more interested in scientific evidence, such as analysis of photographs, videos, or material samples. Still others prefer more hypothetical roads, like theories about the likelihood of life elsewhere in the universe, or how an advanced propulsion system might work. There are a host of specialized studies, too, ranging from abductions, to crop circles, to animal mutilations, and more. Or, you may focus on the believers and witnesses themselves by studying UFOs as an element of popular culture, or from a psycho-social perspective. Another approach is historical. There are, after all, government UFO documents that anyone can read. What do they say? Can these documents tell us whether the government or military have ever been interested in this phenomenon? If so, why? Granted, this approach might not be of the same value as subjecting a piece of flying saucer to laboratory tests. But it would certainly be important if the government had documents showing that UFOs are truly something extraordinary, and even possibly alien. Especially after telling the public the opposite for years. Since belief in UFOs is a near-professional suicide in most respected circles, what would it mean if we discovered that, within the classified world, people have taken it seriously for years? It just so happens that they have. They do. For many years, it was hard to obtain declassified government documents about UFOs. During the 1950s and 1960s, a few documents wended their way to the rest of the world, but this was rare. Then, in 1974, the U.S. government amended the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The result was a veritable golden age of document releases that lasted roughly until a 1982 Executive Order from President Reagan. While UFO documents continue to be released, a repeat of the Great Flood of the seventies appears unlikely. Black-out, declassified UFO documents look rather cool, but most don’t provide any evidence for aliens, and many of them are not even that interesting. But some are veryinteresting. Whether they prove that UFOs are aliens or something entirely different, they make it clear that this topic has been taken very seriously at high levels, and has been subject to a great deal of secrecy. Considering how marginalized this subject is from mainstream culture, making this point is enough for a day’s work. There are always deeper waters within which to swim, but for now let us stay close to the shore and look at a few of these documents. Even though most of these are well-known to UFO researchers, they continue to remain almost completely unknown to the wider public. Apparently, some things are so obvious that they are invisible. 1. The 1947 Twining Memo. 2. 1949 FBI Memo. 3. 1951 USAF Intelligence Report 4. The Chadwell Memo of December 2, 1952. 5. 1954 Maxwell AFB Emergency Report. 6. Intrusion at Minot Air Force Base, 1966 7. Malmstrom AFB 1967 8. Wurtsmith Air Force Base, 1975 9. The Amazing Encounter over Tehran in 1976. 10. The 1981 Halt Memo. 11. U.S. Coast Guard Encounter with a UFO, 1988. 12. UFOs Over Belgium, 1989-1990. CONTINUE READING & FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THESE DOCUMENTS: www.afterdisclosure.com/2011/12/real-majestic-twelve.html

devoid.blogs.heraldtribune.com/12709/maybe-add-a-powerball-lottery/De Void Maybe add a Powerball lottery?Friday, January 13, 2012 at 5:31 by Billy Cox Four years ago this week, the anniversary of a UFO event in Texas that would’ve been a national security scandal had the MSM bothered to study the radar evidence passed once more with little fanfare. Not even National Public Radio, which did such a superb job on the front end, reported how the drama involving jet fighters on Jan. 8, 2008, ended at the doorstep of President Bush’s ranch in Crawford. Today, a “We The People” appeal demanding a White House explanation is quietly tanking and, by the time its 30-day deadline to acquire 25,000 signatures expires late this month, it’ll join all the other UFO petitions in the dead letter office. But those results hardly absolve the feds from accountability. “No, I do not think it’s plausible that if you have an unknown object, without a transponder, heading for the home of the President of the United States, as it’s being chased by F-16s, that the FAA automatically destroyed those records,” says UFO historian Richard Dolan. “That makes no sense.” The soon-to-be-defunct petition in question also links to MUFON’s reconstruction of the so-called Stephenville Incident using civilian radar records recovered via FOIA request, which covered a 4-8 p.m. window on 1/8/2008, as the massive UFO beelined for the “Western White House” no-fly zone. The FAA claimed it had routinely liquidated all records subsequent to 8 p.m., which was better than the military could provide (no records at all). Dolan, author of UFOs and The National Security State Volumes 1 and II, recently watched his own White House petition fizzle after collecting less than 2,000 signatures. Last month, he and petition co-author Bryce Zabel called for independent hearings into Unidentified Aerial Phenomena that would extend immunity to government whistle-blowers. He concedes there were problems with the timing (holidays), and technical glitches on the White House end that evoked numerous complaints from those who had trouble logging in. Maybe there was a little “petition fatigue” as well, as nearly half a dozen UFO petitions made the rounds since the “We The People” initiative launched last September. Dolan declines to blame those factors for petition failure, however, and says the greater challenge is crafting language that is at once elegant, simple, non-accusatory, and precisely targeted. “I think we have to remember this is a White House petition, not an FAA petition or a CIA petition,” he says from his home in Rochester, N.Y. “It’s not like the president has the ability to dictate to the FAA.” CONTINUE READING: devoid.blogs.heraldtribune.com/12709/maybe-add-a-powerball-lottery/

Skywalker. Government is a collective noun. Granted whatever and whoever is in power - CIA, FBI, Congress, president or sinister back room groups that may or may not combine the above - acts in its own interest, like a life form - rather than a group of thinking people. Who individually may be stupid, but more than that, they are likely trying to save their own donkeys. If I was told, "You weren't here, this meeting never happened." I would be stressed enough to run with my family, somewhere far away. The man who gave this presentation has cajones (lets see if the pro board knows about cajones).
