The last video - the Norway spiral case closed. In the second to last video.... Canadian billionaire and circus entrepreneur Guy Laliberte has blasted off (Safely this time). A stuffed animal hanging from Soyuz dashboard. The first video explosion is so violent, it scares me just watching it on the PC. Seems the Chinese space program has had plenty of failures, at the expense of their local population sadly. Secret Chinese space programs - seems more to cover up their colossal mistakes. And American corporations are exporting jobs there? Chinese space flight managed by WalMart. The Soviet N1 was the Soviet answer to the American Saturn 5. It was huge and complex, so many engines. When the rocket failed, it was a huge set back, the colossal explosion destroying the pad as well - back in 1969. The Americans had won the race to the Moon. That woman reporter is crazy! A weird collection of videos I admit. I'll still fly American thank you. Russia's most powerful rocket is Proton. Used to launch the first components of the International Space Station.

I read that back during the race to the Moon Soviet scientists were working in old abandoned warehouses using tables made out of cardboard boxes with a piece of plywood placed over the top because they didn't have any money for their space program. They were having to scrounge through junkyards to find parts to build their rockets. It's no wonder they kept blowing up on the launch pad. Now they have more money and better equipment but if their latest string of mishaps is any indication, they seem to be producing the same results. As least the last rocket got off of the launchpad.
