Ok..so phobos is my biggest pet theory. I absolutely believe it's hollow and may have been used to convey or house beings at one point in time or even currently. It is, to me, the warmest possibility of life in our solar system and the fact that the Russian probe didn't survive it's journey under some peculiar circumstances..adds to the mystery. So I look for things happening in that direction. The latest I've found is a synopsis of independent analysis that makes for fun reading Again I have the feeling that we're not supposed to go anywhere near there. The concurrence of all three of these independent Mars Express experiments -- "imaging" ... "internal mass distribution" (tracking) ... and "internal radar imaging" -- now agreed that "the interior of Phobos is 'partially hollow ... with internal, geometric "voids" inside it ....'" Meaning that- Phobos is artificial. |

I have to disagree with their conclusion that the hollow spaces in Phobos are artificial. There are a lot of geometric shapes in nature that appear to be artificial or man-made but are entirely natural formations. While I do believe that there may be hollow spaces in the little moon they can easily be explained by the heating and cooling processes that occurred while it was originally forming. Imagine a giant piece of volcanic pumice which has hollow pockets all throughout its interior. It's the same basic principle. If it is some artificial creation I would need to see more evidence.

Great Googamooga...he's turning skeptic "laughing hysterically" Skywalker..you are mouthing MY lines LOL. I also agree with you...at this juncture. It's also my personal juju belief that it really is an artificial artifact (not necessarily an inhabited one) but I find the loss of the Russian probe-y thing and it's last pictures pretty interesting. There is a mystery on Mars methinks, yet I lack conclusive evidence (or any actually). It's one of my 'feelings'..and so far....(hanging my head) I haven't managed to get the scientific community to recognize them.
