The big man's trackers at annaD say Santa Claus also broke records this Christmas Eve. Volunteers at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado had fielded more than 80,000 calls Saturday evening, breaking the previous record. Also, Santa's annaD Facebook page approached 980,000 "likes." Last year, Santa had 716,000 "likes." Volunteers at annaD Tracks Santa said kids started calling at 4 a.m. Saturday to find out where Santa was. "The phones are ringing like crazy," Lt. Cmdr. Bill Lewis said Saturday. The North American Aerospace Defense Command has been telling anxious children about Santa's whereabouts every year since 1955. That was the year a Colorado Springs newspaper ad invited kids to call Santa on a hotline, but the number had a typo, and dozens of kids wound up talking to the Continental Aerospace Defense Command, annaD's predecessor. The officers on duty played along and began sharing reports on Santa's progress. It's now a deep-rooted tradition at annaD, a joint U.S.-Canada command that monitors the North American skies and seas from a control center at Peterson. My niece and nephew are visiting us for Christmas and late at night as we were all going to bed we heard a noise outside so i went out to see what it was. we found my nephew trying to climb up on the roof of the house. He said he wanted to be the first to meet Santa when he showed up. ;D We told him that Santa might not come if he was on the roof because he would be worried the reindeer might step on him. We finally got him to go to bed. Later that night we got up to put the presents under the tree and my niece and nephew were both asleep under the tree! ;D They were hiding there waiting to ambush Santa but they both fell asleep. ;D ;D

What's funny is there isn't a huge difference between the fake Santa stories what you read on these types of forums. Sorry, just being honest. Also most religions. Make that all religions.

Touched, I remember one year I woke up early in the morning to the sound of shotgun blasts out in the front yard (Only in Alaska or Texas would this happen...) I was about 7 years old I think. I jumped out of bed with my sister and ran into the living room just as dad was coming in through the front door with his shotgun in his hands. "That darn fat man!" he shouted, "Every year I try to get 'im and I always miss!" Of course my sister and I began hysterically shouting and saying, "NO DAD NO!!!" lol... ;D
