www.theufochronicles.com/2012/02/classified-document-confirms-father-of.htmlSaturday, February 18, 2012 Classified Document Confirms: Father of Nuclear Medicine & Air Force's Medical Chief Discussed 1940's Flying Saucer Crash By Anthony Bragalia 2-14-12 A formerly classified letter from early 1950 reveals that the Father of Nuclear Medicine and the Chief of Medical Research for the US Air Force discussed “bizarre details” surrounding the crash of a flying saucer that had occurred sometime prior. These two distinguished Men of Science from the 1940s and 1950s may have had insight into the UFO phenomenon that went far beyond what most at the time knew about fallen ET. Remarkably, in this same document mention is made of the work of a Battelle Memorial Institute-associated psychologist who was studying UFO sightings for the US Air Force. This was the very same organization that was tasked to conduct metallurgical studies of the UFO crash “memory metal” found at Roswell in 1947 (as related in this author’s series of articles on Battelle.) This psychologist was also associated with the Aero-Medical Lab at Wright Field – the same lab that new testimony says conducted the examination of alien corpses. These Men of Science USAF Col. Robert Blount was the Chief of the Medical Research Division for the Air Force’s Office of the Surgeon General. Each branch of service has a “Surgeon General” office that is distinct from the Surgeon General of the United States. For several years, including in 1950, Blount led the Air Force’s innovation and development activities in a range of medical areas. This included in aero-flight medical research, aircrew health assessments, laboratory analysis and aviation biology. He was also associated with the US Research and Development Board. Blount was later named Deputy Commandant of the esteemed Air Force School of Aviation Medicine. Dr. Robley Evans was a world-famous MIT scientist. He was named Professor Emeritus of the Cambridge institution and he is universally acknowledged as the “Father of Nuclear Medicine.” He was awarded the prestigious Enrico Fermi Award for his pioneering work on the effects of radiation on the human body. The Fermi Award is the highest award given by the US Department of Energy. Evans technical achievements were diverse and included those in areas such as histochemistry, blood and tissue preservation and physics. Evans built MIT’s first cyclotron or “atom-smasher” and the first such system in the world for medical and biological use. That these two men of science (in the fields of flight biology, medical research and body studies) were professionally discussing the crash of a flying saucer in an official and classified document is remarkable. And if this crashed saucer was piloted, these scientists, considering their specialities, would no doubt have interest in the alien bodies. Sensitive letters to MIT and the FBI? A well known academic institution being told privately of the existence of extraterrestrial life off the earth would be very hard to contain. Science would be unable to contain itself about such a secret, and no efforts or programs exist afterward reflecting such new 1950 revealations either. Even the Manhattan Project had its security leaks. It seems a bit too loose in whom these correspondence are addressed to for me about something popularly regarded (whatever the true reality is) as very secret. My reaction is these are fakes unless further evidence (I mean real rational evidence) can be established.
Why would a psychologist be involved in any alien autopsies? Unless these psychologists were to assess the human reactions of those performing the autopsies themselves can be my only guess stretch.
I am not an expert on government documents or forgeries but these seem very questionable to me. The scripted non-official looking letter heads, the lack of a specific person the letter is addressed to - just director FBI (Hoovers staff then has access?).
Every now and then when UFO conventions seem to have a drop off in attendance, these seem to surface when there is a lull in the 'UFO industry'.

Hi all! My reaction, certainly to the first one, is that it is bogus. If memos are being passed around at the purported level then the grammar within would be correct (or I would at least hope it to be!). The last sentence of the last paragraph is my grounds for disbelief - "When you have finished with the INCLOSED report, will you please return it to this office." The person typing this should have been able to spell well enough to know the word is 'ENCLOSED'. Also the second paragraph of the first letter (as you can probably guess, I'm re-reading these as & before I post my reply !! LOL!!)shows, to my mind, the incorrect use of a comma. The sentence reads: "I regret to say that I do not know what this latest report contains, however, I will attempt to get a copy as soon as it is published." The second comma should not be there as it breaks the flow of what is being conveyed by the sentence - 2 distinct pieces of information or actions that can be grouped together or separately. There is a choice of 2 things that would make that sentence flow correctly: 1) Lose the comma after 'however'. This would combine the 2 pieces of information/action appropriately. 2) Use a full stop after 'however'. This would give the two pieces of information distinctly separate statuses that is in context with the rest of the paragraph. Rereading again, do I need to mention the punctuation in the first paragraph around the word "therefore" Just read as above for "however" !! Okay, I've rambled! Time to go put the washing on, continue dusting in the dining room & tidying up the cupboard under the stairs !! LOL!! TTFN! Take care, seek peace and SMILE! Charles :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I'm sure that Lorelei was probably about to mention the entire grammar issue as these things tend to drive her bats until she mentions them ;D Usually I love looking at the declassified stuff because there is more of it blacked out than still left to read..(makes for a quick study) LOL. I think you're right..fraud x 10

Hi all! Jo - MWAH ! I had gathered from a post made by Lorelei on another website that grammar, punctuation and a whole gamut of ways to express informative communications was an area that she had a tincy-wincy teenie-tiny little bugbear with and penchant for sniffing out ;D ;D ;D !!!! I must agree with you about the declassified stuff - it does make for a quick read - and a most exceptionally fun game guessing what has been blacked out ;D ;D !!! Right, nearly time for beddy-byes, so I'll say night-night now! TTFN! Take care, seek peace and SMILE! Charles :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) edited smilies in text from to ;D & added the !! night-night :-) xx

People who work for the "gubment" aren't exactly geniuses so it wouldn't surprise me to see some grammatical errors. Even people who should know better occasionally make mistakes, and back then they didn't have spell checkers to correct them. I could provide my own recent misspelling of the word "itallics" as an example. I knew the misspelling was wrong but I just didn't feel like going back and correcting it. I also sometimes do the commas around, however, the same way. Not always but sometimes. When I write commas just kind of show up whenever they feel like it.

Hi all! Jo - is that with thigh length black leather boots & a bull-whip (wIp or Hwip as Stewie & bob may argue over ;D ;D LOL!!) Also has to depend on what country the spell checker is checking the language for (colour, humour are 2 good examples!) as to whether the language is bashed or not !! Sky - I do agree with you that some of those lovely people in govt. don't not rite two gud eneehow :-) :-) !! But I must also say that I am aware that some documents, especially those that are incredibly sensitive, can be written in a variety of different ways. This leaves the document saying black is black and white is white as definitives but how it is written will be altered for each copy of the document. This then acts as a 'fingerprint' as to where the leaking of information may have come from. In fact, having now just read what I've written in this post and tying it into my previous one, it may be said I've just shot myself in the foot (metaphorically!!), but then I do feel that if it were written as an individual document with the 'fingerprint', then the diction, punctuation & grammar would be exemplary to ensure no mistake in the defined meaning to be conveyed. Okay, I've now got a headache !!! TTFN! Take care, seek peace and SMILE! Charles :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I'm bad for comma faults myself. My obsession is mostly spelling, but I do make errors myself every now and then on here... of course that's because this is not formal writing and I've gotten lazy over the years it seems... ;D ~pokes sky~ I was just teasing you is all about "italics". You know I meant to cruelty by it... I hope anyway... Charles, Other words which are spelled differently depending on one's dialect of English are "Realize" and "Empathize" and words of that sort. "Realise" is the UK spelling... Also: Which one is the UK English spelling: "Gray" or "Grey"? I always get those two confused, and spell checker says they are both correct... I just forgot which one is which...

Hi all! Lorelei - The UK spelling of light black (or, depending on your viewpoint, dark white ;-) ;-) !!) is 'grey'. However, 'Gray' is an accepted spelling of the family name 'Gray' (or you've just messed up writing your mate Gary's name ) !! Also over here there are regional dialect variations on how words are pronounced. For instance: 'Laugh' - in the southern areas it is pronounced 'Larff', whereas further north it will be 'Laff'. The same follows for grass, bath & aunt/aunty/auntie (I say it 'ant', my wife hates that & tells me to say it as "aren't" ;D ;D !!) There is then 'project' ! If you're working toward something, some will say project, others say it "pr'owe'ject" - which is the way it's said by everyone when a picture is being shone on to a screen! I could ramble for ages on this kind of thing, but I do realise that if I carry on much longer I will be held responsible for all the members of this forum screaming and running off cliffs because I've done their heads in ;D ;D ;D !!! TTFN! Take care, seek peace and SMILE! Charles :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) edit was smiley stuff!!

Charles, I think I love you... lol!! ;D ~hugz~ But since we are being nit-picky, I did notice a homonym error in your most recent post. Just for your information and for future reference: The English verb "Shine" comes from the German word "Schein" and is pronounced the same. Present tense: Shine Past imperfect tense: Shined Past perfect tense: Shone Another verb: Show, a slight alteration of the German word "Schauen". The verb is backwards between English and German. "Schauen" means "Watch" but in English, "Show" is the act of the person the people are watching... but yea... anyway... Present tense: Show. Past imperfect tense: Showed. Past perfect tense: Shown. I'm done now, I promise!! ;D ;D ;D ~hides~

It could go either way couldn't it? Show the picture or shine it on the screen? I dunno...I can't even spell homonem and wouldn't know what it meant even if I could spell it. I bet most military people writing super-duper secret documents wouldn't either. They are probably too busy doing super-duper secret stuff.

I will now have dreams of our statuesque Lorelei in thigh highs and a whip..shakes my head at Charles LOL Ok..if 'grey' is in debate can we refer to them as 'off whites?' or does that sound a bit racial?? The 'ickies'? I read somewhere that eventually the global color of humanity would be a light brown.. that sounds about right. Lorelei..I love your internal spell check..it keeps us on our toes

I read the sentence wrong... You guys in the UK have the most interesting way of phrasing things. I'm going to have to get used to it again. (reminds herself to pay attention to the little words like "to"...) I must re-learn how to understand "English" again as it is spoken/written by Englishmen... ;D
