I'm curious to know the different types of psychic experiences the people here have experienced or know about, and when you first became aware of them. My own psychic experiences started immediately following my abduction experience back in 1988. In the weeks and months that followed I started have premonitions and visions of the future that all too often ended up coming true. If it had happened only once or twice I would have just brushed it off as a coincidence, but when it happens over and over again day after day, week after week, year after year, it's not so easy to dismiss. The most common type of psychic experiences I have are premonitions, which basically are just feelings. I have discovered that most of the time the ones I have seem to be warnings of either something that is a danger to me, or something that would make me very emotional...either afraid, sad or in a few cases happy. The premonitions that I get are not very easy to distinguish from normal every day feelings. In many ways they feel the same, yet at the same time are different. I'll give a few examples. Once while hiking in the mountains of South Dakota I suddenly got the feeling that something was watching me from behind. I turned around and looked and saw some bushes moving in a weird manner. There was a bear hiding in the bushes watching me. When he saw me look at him he turned and ran away. I kept walking and the feeling went away for a while but then about 15 minutes later I got that same feeling and turned around again. Sure enough, there was the beer once again trying to sneak up on me. Once again he ran off and the feeling went away. The only times the bear was there was when I had the feelings, or premonitions, that he was there. The rest of the time when I did not have the feeling I did not see any bear even though I would often stop and look just to make sure. It only happened when I felt him there. Another kind of premonitions that I often get occur while I am driving down the highway...which I do quite often. I know that people who know me may find this hard to believe but every once in a while I might even exceed the speed limit...by about 50 miles an hour or so. I grew up watching reruns of the Dukes of Hazzard and Smokey and the Bandit and I do sometimes drive like there is a whole herd of smokeys on my tail...which there probably would be if not for the premonitions. Somehow I have developed the ability to "feel" when a police car is ahead of me. I'm not sure how or why but I can be cruising along at a high rate of speed and I will suddenly get a premonition, or feeling, that I need to slow down. Usually within a mile or two after I do there will be a police car on the side of the road zapping cars with his radar. After I drive past him the feeling goes away and I speed up again. I realize the skeptics will say that it is just a coincidence but it has happened over and over again...too many times to just dismiss it as sheer chance. Over the years I have learned to listen to my feelings. I don't even question it any more. If I am going scuba diving and I suddenly get a feeling that I should not be in the water, I get out fast. These feelings and premonitions happen to me so often that I just automatically react to them without even thinking about it, and the examples I posted above are just two of many. My friend, who was abducted with me back in 1988, also has premonitions, although he refuses to admit it. I have seen it happen though. Once we were driving down the road with a canoe on top of our car and a rope holding down on the front and rear. Having never driven with a canoe on a car before we weren't really familiar with how to strap one down correctly. We had not gone more than ten miles when my friend suddenly asked out of the blue, "what happens if the wind blows the canoe sideways?" No sooner had the words come out of his mouth than a gust of wind came along and practically blew the boat right off of the car. Luckily he had that premonition when he did because he had already started slowing down when it happened. The same thing happened when he was carrying a table home from a tailgate party at a football game. He had the thing tied down on the roof but the rope was on the back with the front of it sticking up a few inches. As he zipped along at about 70 mph he suddenly blurted out, "What happens if the wind gets under the front of that table?" Sure enough, as soon as he said that the table went airborne and practically flew up into orbit. He should have listened to the premonition. If he wasn't such a skeptic about it he probably would have. The other main type of psychic phenomenon that I have experienced are visions of the future. These are instances when I actually see a vision of something before it happens. they happen both as dreams and as waking events. The dreams are not nearly as accurate but are still recognizable. The two examples that I most often cite when talking about these weird visions are the time that I had a vision about driving into a flood, just 30 seconds before it actually happened, and another instance where I had a vision that a car was going to lose control, crash through a picket fence in the median, and then fly sideways through the air and land on the road in front of me. The flood turned out exactly the way I had foreseen it...right down to the last detail. That is the only time I have ever driven into a flood in my life. It was no coincidence. The incident with the car was also no coincidence because the details were almost identical except for the fact that the car landed behind me instead of in front of me. When I had the vision I saw the roof of the car as it flew in front of me, but when it actually happened I was looking at the bottom of the car in my rear view mirror as it landed behind me. It was almost as if I had changed the future just slightly...speeding up just enough to avoid the collision because I had been forewarned that it was going to occur. Because of this I have come to the conclusion that these dreams and premonitions are warnings from somebody or something (God, aliens...my guardian angel?) who is trying to keep me out of danger. At least that is what I am thinking they might be. I have no proof of it, but what else could be causing them? Another thing that I have noticed about them is that the less time that elapses between the vision and the actual event occurring, the more accurate it will be. The more time between the two the more differences there will be. I am assuming that the visions I am seeing are things that may occur in the future instead of things that definitely will occur. It's kind of like I am being given a chance to change the future and avoid the unpleasant outcome. Anyway, those are the two most prevalent types of psychic abilities that I have experienced. There are a few others that I will relate here later on but I would like to hear what other people have to share. Anything interesting or unusual happening to you?

Wow sky, thanks for sharing. I liked the table story. A table flying up into orbit... I would have loved to see that! ;D I have psychic abilities too. I have had them ever since I can remember- which is understandable if the abduction phenomenon is in fact tied to individuals who possess psychic abilities since I remember seeing the Grays in my living room when I was only 8 years old... When I was about 15 I started chatting on the internet on Yahoo! chat rooms. I don't go there to chat anymore because every room is full of people who type in Arabic and Chinese and it's full of bots trying to sell pornography... there are no real humans in Yahoo! chat anymore... and the ones who are there don't speak/type English... Anyhow... I found psychic chat rooms on Yahoo!. I would frequent them and learned a lot of things about psychic abilities. It was explained to me that there are different types of psychics. These are the abilities as they were explained to me by other psychics: ***** 1) Empaths[/u] Empaths have the ability to feel the emotions and physical ailments of other people. This is my strongest psychic ability. I can tell what another person is feeling or if a part of their body is bothering them. The empathetic connection I have with the other person is made exponentially stronger if I am having skin-to-skin contact with the other person... like shaking their hand for example. The intensity of the empathetic connections I make with people is stronger if I know the person very well. Also, if the person is experiencing extreme emotional distress or very bad physical pain I can pick up on it a lot faster... even if I do not know the person very well... Clairvoyants [/u] Clairvoyancy is the most powerful type of psychic abilities. Clairvoyant psychics can actually "see" things that have not happened yet and can also "see" the past just as clear as day. This is not an ability I am very good at so I don't know how I could explain it very well. I believe Jo is a Clairvoyant if I'm not mistaken... Clairvoyants are the ones who use crystal balls and scrying mirrors and such things... but they don't always need these media to focus their abilities... Precogs/Precognitive Psychics[/u] Precogs dream about the future. This is pretty self explanatory. Sky is a Precog, and I am also a Precog but I haven't had these dreams very often in a couple years. I used to get them all the time- especially when I was a child, but not so much lately for some reason... Telepaths[/u] Telepaths have the ability to use telepathy. They can send their thoughts into the minds of others and they can also read the minds of others as well. I also have this ability, although it is somewhat limited. I find that Telepathy and Empathy are very closely related from my own personal experience. Thoughts and emotions are very closely linked to one another... especially with females. Women tend to think with their emotions and feel their thoughts more than men do... Mediums[/u] Psychic Mediums communicate with the spirits of the deceased. They are able to "see dead people" on occasion. Others may not "see" the spirits but they can "sense" their presence in some way, either via telepathy, empathy, or physical sensations. I am able to sense spirits as well via telepathy and empathy but I have never actually "seen" a spirit... Psychic Mediums can also use tools like Clairvoyants. Mediums use Oiuja Boards, Automatic Writing, Tarot Cards, Pendulums... all kinds of stuff like that. They also use their bodies to channel spirits. I have done that a couple of times before, but I find that Automatic Writing is much "safer"... if that makes any sense... Technically a psychic who reads Tarot cards is a Medium, because the cards are controlled by spirits of the deceased. I personally have done automatic writing and I also read tarot cards so I could also be classified as a Medium... ***** I've had lots of experiences with my own psychic abilities. It would take hours to tell you all of the stories but I'll share a couple on here. I think I've told my stories before on here and they are scattered among all the different threads... The very first psychic premonition I had was when I was just a little girl. I have no idea how old I was but I was very young. I want to say I was 6 or 7 but I'm not really sure... Anyhow- my sister and I had bunk beds back then. My sister slept on the top bunk and I slept on the bottom bunk. I was bummed about that but mom and dad said that the Oldest got to sleep on the top bunk so... ~sigh~. One night, I was lying on my bed staring up at my sister's bed above mine. She was lying in bed reading a children's novel and I was just lying there staring up at the bottom of her bed, thinking. All of a sudden, I had this terrible urge to get up out of bed. I needed to get a drink of water, but I wasn't thirsty and I didn't want to get up out of bed, but I felt that I NEEDED to do it... So I did. I brought my stuffed dog (security blanket) with me. About two seconds after I got out of my bed I had walked a couple feet towards the door to the hallway when I heard a loud CRACK sound and I watched in horror as my sister's bed collapsed and fell on top of my bed. I saw her bouncing up on her mattress, the book she was holding up went flying and she shrieked in horror. My parents came running down the hallway, saw what had happened and dad got down on his knees and put his hands on my shoulders, asking me if I was OK... I smiled at him and hugged my dog and said, "It's a good thing I took Dodger with me. He could have been hurt!" My parents both burst into hysterical laughter, relieved. My sister was fine. Dad took apart the bunk beds, fixed my sister's bed and we slept in two separate beds on separate sides of the room after that... Another time I remember when I was working at the cafeteria at the university. This was a Precog premonition. I was closing up for the night, wiping off the tables and filling the salt and pepper shakers when I suddenly remembered a dream I had. The room tilted and I had that spark of recognition. I ran to find my manager, a gray headed old man named "Bob". I said, "Bob, I'm scared! I have to tell you something!" "What?" he asked. (this was back before I knew better than to talk about this stuff... I was 19 and stoopid back then...). I said, "I dreamed about this day last night! I'm afraid I'm going to get run over by a car when I walk back to the dorms tonight! I might die! I have to tell you this now in case I don't come in to work tomorrow!" Bob stared at me in shock. "Uh..." he started to say, then a loud siren blared as an ambulance rocketed past the window behind him. He whirled around and saw it, then turned and stared at me, mouth still open in shock. I laughed, hysterical and relieved. "Oh good. It wasn't me! Nevermind Bob!" and I walked off... He looked at me funny every day after that... ~smirk~ As this past precognitive premonition shows, I'm not always 100% accurate. I do make mistakes, but I'm usually fairly accurate... When I was in high school I used to finish the sentences of my friends all the time without realizing it. They always laughed at me and called me a psychic. That's the only reason why I started to believe it, because of my friends. I would say things and then they would happen. I would know what people were going to say before they said them... I also have this weird knack for knowing when someone is pregnant and also I seem to know the gender of the baby before an ultrasound can be done...

Thanks for the post, Lorelei. that story about the bunkbed is a perfect example of the premonitions that I was talking about. It is just a feeling that you should or should not do something. Most of the time you have no idea why until after whatever was going to happen happens. I have learned to trust my feelings over the years. I can also relate to what you said about knowing when somebody is pregnant. I did that both times that my best friend's wife was pregnant. Each time I had a dream that she was going to have a baby and when I saw her a few days later I could tell just by looking at her that she was pregnant. She just seemed to have a glow or an aura around her. Both times I told her about the dreams that I had. On one of them she asked me what clothes she was wearing in the dream so she would know when it was going to happen. Leave it to a woman to try to predict the future by the clothes she is wearing. Both times it turned out that I had had the dreams very close to the time the child had been conceived. Those are the only two times that it has ever happened though.

hehehe... ~hugz sky~ I know what you mean about the "glow" but I actually "feel" it with my empathy rather than "see" it if that makes any sense... it's a warm sensation... like a mother hen sitting on an egg. I also feel a fullness in my lower abdomen and sometimes even a slight amount of pain in that area that's how I know it. When I was working at the grocery/liquor store one of the cashiers told me she was pregnant. She said she was going to have a little girl and she just KNEW it with her womens intuition. I asked her for her hand, she gave it to me and I closed my eyes and "opened up" and connected to her body. "Nope." I said definitively. "It's gonna be a little boy." She argued with me and said, "Well... we'll just SEE about that!" A few months later she had an ultrasound done, and told me, "You were right, Lore!" I was like, "Yea... I know..." Another one that happened recently happened when I was working in the liquor store, I posted about this also somewhere. One of my regular customers, an older black man came in a couple times a week to buy cheap cooking wine for his wife and an occasional case of beer for himself. He was, oh, in his late 50s I suppose. He came up to the counter and I suddenly had that "spark" of recognition. It's just like that feeling you get when you suddenly are remembering something you know... that's exactly what it felt like. I looked right up at him, was very tired and didn't "screen" what I was saying mostly because I KNEW it was just a memory from my childhood or teen years. That's how strong it was... I could have sworn it was a true conscious memory of mine! I said, "You used to work with my dad at the power plant, didn't you?" with a smile. He stared at me, in shock. "Which power plant?" he inquired. "The XX power plant." I said. His mouth dropped open and he said, "How in the *** did you know THAT? I worked there for six months 30 years ago..." I suddenly realized I could not possibly have remembered him because I was only 26 at the time... (last year). Dad had started working there at about the same time. I flushed red in embarrassment because all the other customers in line behind him were also now staring at me. I stammered, "Er... sorry... I do that sometimes... I'm kinda... ya know... psychic... yea..." He shook his head in disbelief and said, "Wait till my wife hears about THIS!" I was like uh oh... He was absolutely amazed... and I was mortified...

I don't see myself as psychic, but there are times I have "feelings" I don't ignore. For me it's a butterfly in my stomach kind of feeling. Whenever I get this feeling, I start calling the family to make sure everyone is alright. It started when my mother was sick. I would get this feeling and within a day my dad would be calling to tell me that something had happened. So, I learned not to ignore it.
I have also been able to "read"people's emotions. I never had a name for it until Lorelei defined an empath in the above post. Yet, I have introverted type personality, so I tend to sit back and do a lot of observing of people. I just assumed that my observation skills were well tuned and could see when people were bothered/sad/whatever. Yet, there was an instance were there was a woman I barely knew, but others around me knew her. Every time I saw her I just knew there were issues for her at home. I voiced my concerns to a mutual friend and her first response was, "what makes you think that?!", and she denied my concerns. Well, a few months later my concerns came to pass. Our mutual friend questioned me about how I could have known. I just shrugged and said I could see it in her behavior.
I have also had dreams that come true, and as Sky wrote above, the less time between the dream and the real life situation the more accurate it is. For example, I had a dream about a phone call I was going to get. I woke up from that dream and thought, "gee, that was pretty realistic". I decided to get up for the day and went into the bathroom. As I came out of the bathroom, the phone rang. It was the phone call from my dream..., word for word. Gave me goose bumps.

Gotta go to work but briefly. I am mostly pre-cognitive - hunches and avoidances and only later do I find out why. I've communicated with dead friends, if that is mediumship then it is only facilitated by the heart. These experiences have been all positive. I can find things - sorta of mental dowsing without the stick. I can set myself to find certain things. (I can dowse with bent wires as well). I have "heard" people's thoughts but this was under the influence of a substance and it was too strong and chaotic to be in any way enjoyable. Most people broadcast the loudest out of their primative brain - fight, mate, etc. I have some healing abilities (my daughter much more than I although I was able to guide her talents when she was young). When I surfed I could "feel" a big set coming in and used to paddle out before anyone realized it was coming. I certainly have sensed the presence of a predator - in the water and in the bush. I don't always see what is seeing me but I get very uneasy. If I override it, I have had close encounters...
But probably my best skill is with weather. I imagine being in touch with the cloud sheperds - the local winds that can affect local weather and respectfully ask them to part the flocks of the rain ewes while we go by. I don't think I MAKE anything happen - I just ask. My husband now tells people I can do this which makes me uneasy. I think pride and performance anxiety can shut things down pretty fast. But usually when we go rock hunting, even if it has been raining and the road and rocks are wet - there is a circle of blue over us. I stood in a parking lot two weekends ago and it was raining all around us - I could see the streamers on the bottom of the clouds and there was a circle of blue above where we were standing. (Later it did rain on me but I am Ok with that - I just ask. Sometimes it has to rain)
I have been trained in various metaphysical techniques but none of them "taught" me how to do any of this. Maybe my training did suggest that we can interface and change the pattern more than we think we can. In other words, we are part of THE PATTERN not outside it.

snort. And on really complicated nights the beer and the bear arrival at the same time.

I've talked a lot about what I sense and it seems to be growing hugely lately. Guess the 'date bank' gets added to on occasion. The more you work with it (or work it) the more it expands until you actually sense a loss if it's not immediately there. That sounds odd even to me but I'm finding that to be the case. It is very addictive and it's like walking down the middle of the white line of a highway..one foot grounded in the known reality the other foot traveling the unknown reality. I think (for lack of a better way to describe it) when the universe decides we need to walk a path, that path comes at you. If you ignore the signs (of any particular thing) the signs get pushier until you are finally paying attention and move in the direction you're meant to go in. I believe that we can remain igannant and apart from or choose to listen and to be a part of a much larger world. Given those ideas I don't think it much matters if a person is clairaudiant or telepathic or a baggage clerk..it's what they do with it that counts and I'm doing a lot more with it because it feels so sad without it. I used to keep it very much to myself because I didn't like the way people treat me now..I share it with few because it's a very personal part of me and I hate it when people make light of something that makes me feel like a mule kicked me ;D

I just remembered another weird psychic thing that I can do sometimes, and this one I actually have a little bit of control over, unlike the others that just come and go whenever they feel like it. I have no idea how it works though.
It involves being able to use my feelings or intuition to find places that I have never been. I have noticed this over the years as I was driving the truck. Since I am constantly on the road traveling from one place to the next and since my company doesn't know how to give good directions to save their lives, I very often find myself totally lost and wandering aimlessly around trying to get somewhere or another.
What I finally discovered is that if I listen to my feelings somehow they will tell me where to turn. I could be just driving along totally confused and I will suddenly get the feeling that I need to turn left, then a little while later another turn and another...until I eventually end up at the place I was supposed to be.
I have done that many times. I don't always actually find the place but by the time I stop to ask for directions most of the time I will be within a block or two of where I was supposed to be. One time I stopped to make a phone call and as I was asking for directions I looked across the street and there the place was right in front of me. It happens all the time.
As usual when it comes to psychic abilities it usually works the best when I am not thinking about what I am doing, but rather just following what my feelings say. I do sometimes have some conscious input into it though. I even tested it out once just to see if I could really do it.
What I did is I parked my truck at a truck stop close to a town and then I decided I was going to walk down to the post office to mail a letter. i deliberately did not look at a map or ask for directions, I just started walking. I went into the heart of town, passed several intersections until I had an overwhelming urge to take a left, so I did. I then walked down to a fork in the road where my feelings once again told me to take a left and after going around a curve, there was the post office. I walked right to it on the first try.
Of course my direction finding abilities don't always work that well but I would guess more than fifty percent of the time it is successful. Of course all of the skeptics would say it is just coincidence or luck or whatever,..and maybe they are right. Who knows? What is interesting though is that my dad can do the same thing. He even told me about it once...just out of the blue started telling me about this weird psychic ability that he had. He doesn't normally talk about stuff like that.
Has anybody ever experienced anything like this before, or know of a story about somebody else who can do it?

I'm watching the movie Final Destination where a bunch of high school kids are flying to Paris and one of the students has a vision that the plane is going to explode and he freaks out and causes a small group of people to get off the plane so they end up surviving the explosion. They then spend the rest of the movie trying to cheat death as it comes after them one after the other.
What I am really interested in is the way that they described the vision as taking place. It seemed that the dude went into sort ofa daydream like trance and foresaw all of these things happening that lead up to the explosion and when he came out of the brief trance he started testing things to see if the would happen the way he saw it. For instance, in the vision he grabbed a knob on the airplane seat and it broke and that was one of the things that he checked to see if it was really broken.
In the visions that I have had I don't recall ever seeing anything like that...some small detail that I could have checked to verify if the vision was really going to occur. I don't think I have ever read anything about anybody else doing that either. Most visions are not that detailed and accurate as far as I know, nor do they really have that realistic quality. They seem more like dreams or daydreams to me. In the movie the guy seemed to think that the vision was really happening.
I realize it is just a movie but it got me thinking about premonitions and visions and how they seemed to be based on emotions, at least for me anyway. I wonder if the stronger the emotional event that is going to take place the more vivid the vision or premonition might be? Like if somebody saw a vision where they were going to die would it be more realistic than if they saw a vision about something more mundane, like stubbing their toe on a piece of furniture or something?

That's true... I often get these feelings of deja vous... and the bigger deal it is going to be, the stronger the feeling I get... That movie freaked me out when I first saw it... it came out when I was back in high school. ...because of that movie whenever I pull up behind a logging truck I have to pass it immediately- and if I can't I follow waaayyyyy behind it... lol... the sad thing is I'm not the only one who does that because of that movie... ~shiver~ Stoopid horror movies...

I don't know all of the technical names for them but I have a few abilities that I think are normal
I can sense people's lives with a touch Have prophet dreams can walk in an area and know if something bad has happened there. its like a movie that plays in my head and I become that person and see what has happened, as it happened I know who's on the phone before it rings I can heal people by taking the sickness on myself I used to be able to move things with my mind, I have since lost that ability I know 2 weeks before someone will pass away, if I have an urge to see them i hear peoples thoughts if they are close to me
I think these are abilities everyone possesses. so i dont find them unusual

I think everybody has the potential to possess these abilities also but some people are more in tune to them than others. Most people who have pronounced psychic abilities tend to take them for granted. To them it is normal...to somebody else it might be totally unbelievable.

Thanks for sharing. Seems, you are on your way. Should seek training.
I too exhibit similar type things. When something is going to die around me, I often see a sequence of little black crosses exiting their foreheads. This especially happens if they are older folks. However, my precogs involve all sorts of life's experiences, they typically are not centered on just negative or unpleasant events.
One of the things that I can do is sense things by touching articles. If I need a better connection with someone, simply touching something they have touched or holding a few strands of their hair.
One of the things I do very well is a form of 'scrying', where I'll repeatedly re-read an e-mail or a post that I have written, until I start to 'hear' the distant readers' thoughts that they thought while they read my post. :))
<<< - I can heal people by taking the sickness on myself, >>>
The healing process you describe, is known as 'assumption'. It is the form that the Master Yehehshuvah (Jesus Hasmone aka de Christos) employed for healing, as taught in Essene schools. It is very effective method for healing, however, one should be very cautious, if one uses the method indiscrimintely, as it can be quite dangerous to the healer. Only very functional healers should use the method.
I too, at one time, before I realized the danger, employed this method to heal folks. A friend of mine, became ill with a little cough, I had asked she and her boyfriend to go skating with me at Venice Beach, and they declined, begging a rain-check, as Robin was running a slight fever, not too elevated, just about 1/2 degree or so above normal. Several weeks had elapsed, and I called them to learn how she was feeling and if they wanted go skating with me at the beach (I dearly love to skate and they often accompanied me). However, Robin still had cough and a small temperature. Around this time I began to catch odd impressions, little black crosses, something was not right. I called them again, but they were out of town. Back in town, a few weeks later, she still had a small temperature, and was still not too feeling well, her energy was down. At this juncture, I encouraged them to visit a doctor, as a low level temperature can be an indicator of a systemic infection, something that my Grand-Father, a Mason and a Doctor, Dr. John C Marshall taught me. They were resistant to the idea, as over several months, they had been seeing several doctors, one of whom administered flu-shots for Robin's condition, and she was still not feeling too well. So I imposed a visit on them, to see what I could see.
While visiting, I insisted that they should, as soon as possible, see another doctor, only this time, insist the doctor order a full blood panel test, to discover the cause of Robin's low level temperature, which she had now had for over three months!! It was a Wednesday, they made an appointment to see the doctor the following day on Thursday.
I was sitting on a foot-cushion adjacent to the couch on which Robin was reclining. I performed my cleansing ritual, to tune myself up into the Light, (see the little sparkles in my mind's eye, and hearing the Khundalini inside my head..serpents hiss 'shhhhhhhhhh') and then I touched her, beginning to work on her, by drawing her consciousness into my sympathetic nervous system, overlaying her soul with that of mine, pulling her condition into myself...applying the 'assumption' technique. Surprisingly, I found the 'connection' was very resistant, almost as though I were probing a tough rubbery bubble, which as I pushed into it, it bent inward, but was not allowing me inside....it was a message. When I finally pushed through, and connected, it was as though I had stepped into a fiery pit. I received an impression that everything was swirling chaotically, wildly around, as though I was amidst an intense battle....God, it was all smokey Reddish-Yellow!! I can still see it, 25 years later. I was shocked by the intensity of it all. I immediately felt nauseous, it pulled my Vital-Life-Force so violently that I almost passed out, it was sickening to my core. I immediately disconnected from her. What ever was wrong her, I had a touch of it...some of it stayed in me, I could not cleanse myself of it. It was sticky, I could not get rid of it!! It made me nauseously sick for months. I learned my lesson, I have never used assumption again, too risky. I'm not that functional, yet. Its never about us..one must learn to leave ego at the door.
The following Monday, Robin's blood test report had come-back. Her T-Cell count was through the ceiling. Robin had cancer. It had gone undetected and had mastacized. The cough, it was learned was caused by a growing tumor which had by that juncture intertwined itself into her neck and spine, rendering her condition inoperable. She had been to see five doctors... I'm not too impressed with doctors out there, most are pompus over priced pill-pushers who can't find their own butts with both hands. From that Friday until she expired was a mere two months. She drowned in her own spittle with a lump the size of a watermellon protruding from her neck. Steve, stayed with her, right up to the end. ;(
I don't mean to preach, Jarmen, however, I recommend that you practice caution in doing assumption-healing.
May I ask, how old you were when you first became aware that you are psychic?
Do you consider yourself to be artistic? How are you with numbers...math type stuff?
Cheers,

Wow, I enjoyed reading that story you posted plutronus- even though it is a sad story... I also lost my grandmother to cancer. She had been seeing doctors for about three years complaining of abdominal pain and fatigue. All the doctors just told her she was getting old and she was fine... until one day one doctor finally decided to do a CT scan of her abdomen. Guess what? She was all eaten up with ovarian cancer... ...and she died... because nobody bothered to look...

Doctors are idiots. I haven't met one yet who had a clue what they were doing. They usually listen to the first two words out of a patients mouth then immediately jump to the first diagnosis they can think of. Then when they find out they were wrong they listen to the next two words and repeat the process. I just diagnose myself now. I do a halfway decent job too since I actually listen to myself so I know what the symptoms are. I can't wait till I give myself the bill though...

I've had a similar experience with healing as yours, plutronus. Not so drastic, but still makes me sad. I don't agree that Jesus Christ healed this way. He had someone else to dispell the illness to . Or some other place, even. You mention training. Where? How does a person trust enough to get training? I too, have jarmen71 s abilities. Except for the moving things. I've never had any control over this . I dream I have control, but thus far it has been useless or just plain funny. When I had "bursts" of temper was the funny part; could do nothing but laugh afterwards ;D. Occasionally something "useful" will happen. I guess I can give an example. I can stand in front of our refrigerator, and be ready to get ice dispensed from the front window. Just as I push my glass forward against the lever, I notice someone has left the setting on "water". Ummmm, I switch it to "ice" with my mind and get ice. Or else the refrigerator "knows" I always want ice, LOL.

I don't know all of the technical names for them but I have a few abilities that I think are normal
- I can sense people's lives with a touch, - Have prophet dreams, - can walk in an area and know if something bad has happened there. its like a movie that plays in my head, becoming that person, seeing what happens, as it happens, - I know who's on the phone before it rings, - I can heal people by taking the sickness on myself, - I used to be able to move things with my mind, I have since lost that ability, - I know 2 weeks before someone will pass away, if I have an urge to see them, - i hear peoples thoughts if they are close to me,
I think these are abilities everyone possesses. so i find them unusual Hi Jarmen,
Thanks for sharing.

I first found out about this when I was around 6. It was heightened then and my mom would explain the reason why she felt I had the gift. Apparently my mother and her mother had the same things. I am a little artistic, I paint and write. But nothing I would call truly artistic. I have to say that I don't heal others, only my immediate family. Then in turn, my mother would heal me without having to take it on herself. It's kind of hard to describe... I used to heal animals when I was a small child all the time. It's like I could sense where they hurt. It sounds stupid but that I how I started learning. My mother used to see what I call Shamans and I would see so many things in that area. It bothered me quite a bit. There were spirits and entities there that I knew were evil. I have sense learned that sensing others is not a good thing...there are too many bad people in the world to do that...anymore.

I have experienced all of the above, except moving things with my mind. A man once told me that in a tepee out in the wilderness, her was privileged to watch a Medicine Man move a stone through the air, around the circle.
I want to add a category 'Seeing' the shamanic art of perceiving all living beings as balls of Light (Life Force, Chi, Prana) surrounded by Auras (a glow of lesser fibers of Light that interconnect the entire web of Life. Note that Seeing can be auditory, kinesthetic, or even intuitive. Our thickest fiber is from our Center of Gravity (Dan Tien) just below the navel, so feeling it in your gut is Seeing as shamans define it. Medical Intuition is Seeing. Yes, pregnant people glow extra bright and most often very beautifully.
Shamans other art is 'Dreaming', which would include precognition and seeing signs.

Well considering I'm a survivor of open heart surgery and removal of my gallbladder I'm not going to agree that doctors are idiots. Mine weren't at any rate. I have noticed that people who are more institutionally educated don't have their common sense honed as sharply the 'school of hard knocks' variety of scholar. A couple of my horse clients were phd's and it was the simple solutions that would escape them every time. I won't say their brains were wired more complexly but one could do complex calculus in his head yet not be able to change the battery in his car. I've already written a bunch on my experiences and my psychic directions but I will say that it's growing by leaps and bounds..this year seems to be some trigger of events.

Eh..good/bad..is perspective. It's necessary I think. If we do not more forward..we don't do more than exist..and we need some inertia..at least I know I do

I would like to know how you move stuff with your mind? Is there some trick to doing it? Do you just concentrate on doing it or does it just seem to happen on its own?
I've read a lot about experiments that tried to test whether or not Psychokinesis is a real phenomenon. For a while it was kind of considered to be the holy grail of parapsychology. I've never known anybody who could actually do it though.

Jurcuri, I was young when I found out I could move things with my mind...or I called it with my eyes. It was a marble that I moved. It was lying flat on the floor and I was bored so I laid down on the floor and just stared at it for a long time. I then thought ROLL and it wiggled a bit then rolled. It was small at the time but it was huge to me! I say that I can't do it anymore but in a small way I still think I can. For example, anytime we go to a casino, I always hit the slot. In my mind as I pull the trigger, I think of the pattern that will appear and they do. Any other game and I lose. At first I thought this was just luck until it happened every single time. One instance is in New Orleans, we went to the casino there. I got on some wheel of fortune game and kept hitting but it wouldnt spin. I hadnt put in 3 quaters lol. I sat at that machine for 30 minutes, hitting it everytime. I was excited about it, I mean who wouldnt be. It's was when the suits came down to watch me play that made me nervous. I won over 1500 in less that 15 minutes. I immediately got up and they slapped an out of order sign on it. Every machine I went to, this occured. We were there only an hour when I had a bad feeling so we left. The casino may have thought I was some genius or using a device of some kind. I never went back there. In April of this year we went to another casino and the same thing occurred. It's as if I can make the machine stop at a second. It is weird and maybe I am just lucky To answer your questions Sky, when I was younger and I would just focus on the item. I then would envision all this matter, gathering together to push whatever object I was looking at. It was like looking at thousands of tiny bubbles that come together to create a type of physical object that then moves the object. I know it sounds insane however there is matter all around is. Who says we can't play with it if we try? I was a lonely child so I had tons of time to do anything, I just chose to focus on the special abilities. ;D
