In my youth I worked for my dad's military contracting company which he formed after he retired from the service. We did all sorts of things, building 5,000 screen-doors, replacing 1000 heating & A/C units, installing 1222 garbage-disposal units, wiring CCTV in stockades, fixing avionics in jets, replacing carpets in housing, repairing two-way radios in MP vehicles. Dad once told me that he would do brain-surgery contracts, if they would let the jobs! Heh heh. We did these things all over the world on military bases, dependent housing, barracks, officer qtrs, messes, highbay hangers, etc.
On one of the jobs, in del Rio Texas, military base dependent housing, we were replacing old heating and air-conditioning units with new 35,000(?) BTU Rheem HACs, which were located in an outside air-conditioning closet on the rear-side of the dual-house units. I was working as a electrician in one of the five, three man teams. The supervisor on the job was constantly reminding us of the danger of working with the refrigerant, a gas, which when it freely expands, absorbs heat, instantly freezing anything that the expanding gas contacts, such as skin or eyes. Each team would enter the air-conditioning closet, located on the rear of the houses, from the backyard, like a hot water-tank closet. The black-gas plumber would go in first, he'd turn-off and disconnect the natural-gas plumbing, then it was my turn, I'd take my big linesman's cutters and cut the BX power-cable, there'd be a flash of sparks, which promptly tripped the breaker (I did not have to go inside the lady's house each time to figure which one it was? as the breaker used were almost never the same one and were not marked either), and then the Freon mechanic up on a ladder, would turn-off and disconnect the refrigerant plumbing. We'd unzip the screws holding the unit down, yank it out, and stick a new unit in, and reverse the process, re-hooking everything up with new parts. It was like a production line. When we began the job it took us eight hours to do just one, and by the end of the contract, each team was installing new HAC units in four to five houses before lunch, or ten to twelve houses per day.
So one day on the job, I'm walking along the back of one house, as I turn the corner of the house, in mid-stride, I see a little vision, --a refrigerant guy is on the top of a ladder, he is looking into the closet, working on the refrigerant tubing, pulling it out. I see the refrigerant line let loose, spraying refrigerant gas into the air, the flex line was whipping around like a high-pressure garden hose snaking about by itself, and I see the line spray the mechanic directly in his face, turning around, he had a white frosty 'raccoon' mask across his blind eyes.
My foot in mid-stride hits the ground, I've turned the corner of the house, and I see the refrigerant guy on the ladder about 10 feet away, just as in the dream that I had just seen, --I very loudly yelled at him, 'hey you on the ladder!', as he turned his head to look at me, the freon line let loose, spraying him frosty-white on the back of his head instead of in his eyes. I ran up and pulled him off the ladder.
Not very good evidence perhaps?, but for me, and it was again, evidence that we can change the future. To do so we must learn to listen to that little inner voice which never lies to us. The key, is learning discrimination...which voice to heed?

This sounds a lot like some of the visions that I get that warn me of danger. And I agree that they do seem to be giving us an opportunity to change the future, if we have the wisdom to listen to them. The question that I have is what is causing the visions? Where do they come from? If these really are warnings of possible future events as they seem to be than who is sending the warnings?

I think there are possibilities of 'future lines'. One in which that man lived the rest of his life blind if you didn't believe in your vision and act on it. Might have been your test not his if you get my drift. I am convinced that angels give me the heads up that I get. Sometimes, I'll have a 'task'. A person out of the blue that I know I will have some direction of travel with. I met someone for the first time a couple of months ago..and he caused me to cry...these horrible feelings of raw pain and emotions..every time I saw him (fortunately not when face to face). I know I've known him and I know that's hard for some people who are very iffy about reincarnation. He had been so abused so beaten all of his life but he has the most magnificent and generous heart of anyone I've ever known. How can this be when he was so tortured as a child I cannot fathom. Hates the very thought of the God who allowed such pain to a child. I'm wandering from my own idea here..If you don't believe in yourself and what you see..what does the future have in store for those you interact with..would they die or be blinded..did you save that man by believing in yourself? Believing in ourselves IS the battle to win the war..and I don't think we've hit the 'war' part yet. Maybe the 'universe' is training weapons

When someone is suffering much, they are responsible for it. There is an ancient Mystical School dictum that states:"I recognize the manifestation of the Undeviating Justice in all the circumstances of my life."
Pain is the teacher and Love is the reward. A teacher was known to say, 'Wanna be Loved? Get out there and be loving.'
Love is the Light.
