Here is the photo they posted with the article. That definitely looks like something is flowing there. The scientist dudes say formations similar to this sometimes occurs in Antarctica and they claim that it involves water somehow. I dunno how water flows in Antarctica. I suppose I'll have to look it up.

Considering that they recently found a Martian meteorite here on Earth that still contained levels of water in it and that it appeared to have been altered by water somehow as it lay on the surface of the planet I would say the argument for there being water on Mars is pretty much settled. Obviously there used to be more there than there is now. With temperatures ranging anywhere from 70 above to -195 below zero, and with a change of close to 200 degrees from day to night it probably doesn't stay in its liquid state for long. Temperatures would have been much more stable back when the atmosphere was thicker.
