The White Sands IncidentThe White Sands Incident is a book written by Daniel Fry who worked at the White Sands Missile Range back in the 1940s and 50s. He claimed that in 1950 a flying saucer landed at the range and he not only made contact with the UFO but went for a ride in it as well! I found a website that appears to have the complete text of the book. danielfry.com/index.php?id=1120I have a couple old copies of this book in my collection and I always thought it was an interesting story. I have also always had doubts about whether or not it was an actual UFO encounter or a military experiment to see how people would react to being contacted by ET. The reason why I think that is because of the way Fry describes the technology he encountered in the craft, which very closely resembles what they would have had available to them back in 1950. Also the speech and mannerisms of the "ET" (whom Fry never actually saw but heard over an intercom) sounded suspiciously human to me. I'm not saying it definitely was the military. That is just my opinion of one possibility of what it may be. Other folks can form their own opinions about it.
