I just watched a show last night on Discovery Channel called (damn what was it called? Alien Encounters (doesn't sound right). Alien something or other. Supposedly the show was premiering but the guide said "repeat" and then the advertizing at the end said new season premiere tomorrow night. So maybe it was on last year and I didn't know it.
They had a man in town near Trenton who was investigated by a Mufon investigator (mostly played by an actor). However the real investigator was interviewed. His name was Steve White. Anyone know if that was "our Steve"? This man had a southern accent and was in his 60's. I looked up Steve's ("our Steve")s info and note that there is no indication of age or place.
It was weird listening to him talk and wondering if this was the person that I typed conversations with here. And a little sad that he is gone. As in, not checking in, not saying hello the book is going well....nada. I had a lot of junk thoughts in my mind about whether he distanced himself from us prior to the book launch (if there was a book launch) because we are a little....undocumented as genuine experiencers. In the show, they went into the fact that Mufon does a scientific investigation. (Which is good) (But which is part of the dilemna that many of us face - we were children, alone, not under scientifically verifiable conditions. So it goes here on TEOR....

Paulette. Not sure where Steve was born. He lives in California and his investigations are mainly on the West coast. At least as long as I have known him. I cannot imagine him having a southern accent. Although years ago I made a post about my husband going raccoon hunting . I mention a dog some how and he wrote A dawg. like my husband was from the south. ;D I sure miss him here I seen advertised their is a new program concerning ufos coming on the Discovery Channel . There is a post about it on TEOR somewhere . It is recent thread.

I believe the show was called Alien Mysteries but I'm not totally sure because I'm on my cell phone and can't look anything up. I think the March 3 episode was the premier of the series. It supposedly is brand new. How was it? The previews looked interesting. The Steve White in the show is not the same as our good buddy Steve Reichmuth. They are entirely different people. I wish I could have seen it but I am stuck in a deadend job in some godforsaken place called NewJersey where I have been forced to work all night long every night for the past two weeks. I wish this nonsense would end so I can get back to doing interesting stuff again...not to mention getting some sleep.

Well...it was not debunking nor over the top (experts who look like their hair got caught in the blender). A nice balance. What I noticed (and notice about a lot of shows is that they show something and then there's a commerical and then they show yu 90% of the same incident again and then another commercial....but they rounded up witnesses and family members AND one guy passed the lie detector test. So happy to see that. Then the pill I took for my out of wack back kicked in and I went to bed. I try it again next week...
