Since there were few of us who had unexplained rashes and illness that we considered might be part of our contact experience, I thought this story I found was very interesting.
This man in Canada, in 1967 had an alleged close encounter in the deep woods. While prospecting for quartz he saw two large discs, one of which landed close by. He believed it was a US experimental craft and eventually went up to it and called out to the "Yankees." When it suddenly turned, an exhaust vent of some kind burned a grid pattern into his chest and abdomen. He came away with symptoms of radiation poisoning -- nausea, dizziness, loss of appetite, headache, etc. He also suffered from brain fog -- confusion and possible memory loss. He had what appeared to be radiation burns, which, interestingly in regard to our rash question, seemed to lead to hive like, circular rashes with curious centers (like mine). Another thing that piqued my interest was the note that these rash areas would seem to heal, then would become irritated and "points" would re-erupt -- just as I had described "dots" on my leg doing. Anyway, he was sick immediately after the exposure and had a very difficult time getting back to his motel.
It is a shame that when he was unable to take authorities directly back to the spot they (and even UFO investigators) became suspicious that this was a hoax. But If this man experienced something similar to what I did I can just imagine him wandering around, confused, unable to piece it all together. They did actually find the site eventually -- about 50 yards from where he had been trying to find it, and there was a large circle on the rock where all the lichen and moss had been blown off and away into a perfect circle surrounding the landing site. The authorities found radiation at the site, as well as some items the man had left behind when he began his long trek back out of the woods.
Many of you may be familiar with this report already, but I found the report (click the link below) very compelling reading and it seems, at least in some ways, to validate some of our experiences.
There are intriguing photos of his burns, his sketch of the craft, his burned gloves, etc.
