I've been checking out my options for some home paranormal investigation. Of course, I don't have a lot to spend on this, but I was looking around for thermal investigation and there's no way I can afford a thermal camera. But this thermal paper over at myghostpaper (dot) com looks pretty good, and the price is right. Has anyone tried anything like this or had any experience with thermal investigation at large?

Hi, Janice. I've never heard of anybody using the ghost paper in an investigation before. Actually I had never heard of the paper until you just mentioned it. It looks like a neat little novelty to play with and amuse the kids but I don't know how useful it would be at detecting paranormal activity. It looks to me like there would have to be a pretty big sudden temperature change for it to show up on the paper. Something would either have to physically touch it or be exposed to it for a long period of time and a ghost isn't going to go stand on it for several minutes just to see his footprints magically appear. Of course since I have never actually used the stuff I really don't know if it would work or not. I do applaud the people for coming up with the idea. When investigating paranormal subjects it's helpful for people to think outside the box so I'm always in favor of trying out new techniques and ideas. Thermal cameras definitely are expensive. Most good equipment is which is probably one of the reasons why there are so few serious paranormal investigators out there. I've experimented with a few cheap gimmicks in my time because I'm always trying out different things but so far none of them have worked. You get what you pay for I suppose.
