FUN article Paulette..and something we can have some fun with....maybe. We've touched on this a little before and it just seems logical to me that visiting beings wouldn't think as we do or appear as we do...unless we're arrogant enough to think the universe is populated by human dopplegangers. The very Godly might think God would only create in one image...but I rather think it's us creating him in our image than the other way around. I'm thinking he's rather formless of capable of all forms. So Evolutionists..would think others would evolve from whatever the slime pool chucked out there. Monkeys in our case....maybe spiders or salamanders or penguins elsewhere. I think alien penguins would just be adorable..probably meaner than snot..but adorable. The thought processes..are determined by our environment, media, parents & peers. UM...popular kids don't think at all like bookworms or geeks. Good heavens..I've mentioned my friend who is an aeronautical engineer..IQ off the scale..I am often convinced he is an alien because the thoughts he thinks are no where close to the thoughts I think..at least half the time. He's mathy...I am anything but. How could a right brained person take an IQ test engineered by a left brained genius? uh huh...WE humans don't even think alike. How could a bouncing baby squid on some distant planet relate to US? How could we relate to them? It would make it a lot easier..less tricky..less apt to offend..if we were alike. And some humans who failed the 'tact' test had better stay home the day they arrive...or we could all end up as appetizers. The universe didn't major in 'easy' though..so in all probability...there will be a lot of differences to muddle through..assuming they deem us worthy. Kaku's a pretty smart feller
