Dude, that was cool. I didn't know earthquakes did stuff like that. The earth was just kind of moving around without all the violent shaking and screaming that people normally associate with quakes. I didn't know they squished water up to the surface either. See? I still learn new stuff every day on this forum.

My parents were in the big Yellowstone quake in the 60's. Trying to get out of the area ...everyone was in a big traffic pile heading for stable ground when the ground shifted and opened ..swallowed the car and house trailer right in front of them and closed right over it...my parents drove right across the spot that swallowed them. They had nightmares for a long time after that.
