Back in 1776 taxation without representation was a big thing to the people of the country. Lexington was about gun control. The Army was out confiscating guns and ammo from the colonists. Most people know this from school. King George III was a tyrant. Fast forward to today. Ignore the race issue and Obama has got big plans he is talking about that will make King George laugh his head off where ever he may be. He plans to rule by his pen signing decrees to achieve his goals. He is looking to the power to create new tax laws which since it is by decree it is taxation without representation. He will simply do as he wills with no debate. He has stated he will ban the AR 15 in all its variations. Again no debate just his decree period end of story The Ar 15 is the most popular rifle in the country and is rarely used in crimes. Mean while BATF is banning the most popular ammo for the rifle which is being subject to pistol ammo standards. They say it is armor piercing but by their own standards it is not Rather like saying black is white and white is illegal. As a side issue on Christmas day last the UN small arms treaty went into effect and the US signed that treaty but it has not been ratified by the Senate. IN 1776 taxation with out representation was a big issue to freemen. At Lexington a few nobodies lined up to resist the then current army of the land from taking firearms from the people. Now both these things are threatened by Obama. It would seem the citizens are again being put in to the position of having to make a choice There is no secret about these plans for the US

People have options. Leave the US. A lot of seniors have taken up residence in Mexico where social security stretches further. Move to another country and find out how very restrictive their laws are.

our country was conceived in liberty. Some of Washingtons men crossing the Delaware in mid winter had only a pair of pants to wear and left bloody foot prints in the snow as they marched. it is not a joke or a myth. I do not intend to leave the US. Way back in 1917 while my grandfather was fighting in France four men came out to the family farm saying they were going to confiscate the crops as the family had a German sounding name. My Great Grandfather was harnessing a team when they showed up and he was a reformed gun fighter so the first one off the buggy got a mouth full of horse collar knocking him cold. That was the end of that idea they left. Some times you have to stand up to tyranny on the spot. His wife fought off an indian raid by herself then got mad and went off after them with a rifle. On the other side of things a relative there won a Knights Cross in Russia as a pilot. Its in the blood. For those who are interested the last raid by hostile indians was in 1939 Not what you would think. My mother knew old indians that had been hostiles on the plains when young. the town of new Ulm pop 500 came within a whisker of being wiped out by the Sioux the center of town held out. They dont teach that in School

All families have remarkable history somewhere in their past. My several greats ago grandfather was a Sioux indian chief..maybe he came within a whisker of wiping out your great grandfather..that IS the way history works..hopefully we're learning NOT to make the same mistakes we did in the past. Living the day and finding hope in the future
