Anyone else been extremely tired lately? Not just me, but several people I know have been feeling really 'wiped out'. I'll have these 'waves' of being so tired I can hardly stand up..but it only takes a 'power' nap of maybe 10 minutes to fix it. I almost feel like I'm recharging batteries, it's so off beat.

OK - I didn't sleep well the previous week - was awake approx every hour and even though I went back to sleep it meant I didn't get full sleep benefit. Finally, two days ago my digestive system (which I would say is about as good as a goat's) packed it in - everything I ate sorta hung around and I felt sick. I did manage to sleep the last two days and things are, ah, normalizing in my body. If the earthquake in Japan can cause Florida's water table to change, I'm sure the psychic "water table" got shook up too.

I was a little tired due to the time change. Many were. That can mess up our circadian rhythms - especially the older we all get. Also if I remember correctly, both of you are in California too where I live too. Maybe the weather (plenty of rain lately) and being couped up inside perhaps has something to do with it? I had a great time listening to the weather and the storm last night, got out the bread maker and baked bread - more for the aromas, and watched a good movie with plenty of Technicolor in it. I watched Hitchcock's 'To Catch a Thief' with Cary Grant and Grace Kelly. The older movies have great color. Recent movies seem to have crappy color, and are dark and depressing visually, harch sounds. I think recent movie directors should be killed off by being forced to watch their own films a 100,000 times. The color stimulation I think might be important here too. Good for mind. Another good film with color as good medicine is 'Finding Nemo'. 'To Catch a Thief' makes me feel like I am on a vacation. Maybe that might be a good prescription? Hey, one cannot live on UFO cases alone. Steve

I've been more energetic lately... despite not having slept well in the last four days. I think it's because I've got spring fever. The snow and ice are melting and the sun is coming out longer and longer each day... and the temperature has been gradually rising up above freezing during the day, then dropping slightly below zero at night...
I'm ready for spring... that's what I've been telling my customers at work. They all whined and said, "Yea... soon we'll have to deal with those *#&$ mosquitoes!!"
"Oh yea..." I said to each of the ones who said that... "Right... but the sunshine is nice though... right?"

I live on Vancouver Island BC. It isn't part of California - yet. I beg your pardon Paulette. California? Actually Vancouver is so beautiful, I have a old friend who is in the Canadian Mounted Police there in Langley. Perhaps my wife and I could immigrate to Vancouver instead? Oh....I mean immigrate to Vancouver 'eh'? ;D Actually I just came up with an fun idea.... why not have all the members here send to Sky their city or town location, no names or street addresses please...nothing too private or intrusive... and I will post the location of everyone without names on a map and post here in the forum? You will see your location, but that way you yourself will be the only one to know that is you on the map. Interesting to see were we all are from. My UFO map programs could create a map in seconds once the town only is listed on a excel spread sheet, so it would be not much trouble to do. I can also update as new members leave UFOmania...I mean....join here. What do you think? Steve

Steve that is a good ideal .. I like this map showing were a member is from. But I know many here's location already. Everyone knows it would be me on the map from Illinois.. sounds good though. Swamprat is Florida, so is auntym.. I could keep going. They have all stated in post where they are from. Of course new members is a different situation. .

Now have deep chest cold. I am aware that when one is stressed and evokes fight or flight hormones (adrenalin and cortisol) that one's immune system gets turned down. So the various usual suspects rode into town and are shooting the place up...

Paulette, my doctor has me take a vitamin D3 every day. I have taken one all winter. She said it builds the immunity system. I had never heard of D3 until she told me about it
I was sick again last night and still I'm. I sure hope a big one in Japan does not occur.. One minute Im find then next second it hits my stomach and head but keeps up.
Hope you get to feeling better soon.
I also have been tired, but I believe all this sick to my stomach has drugged me down. It is really an all over body thing but can't explain it.

Lois, there is a forum you should check out. The people there are earthquake 'sensitive' and have varying symptoms before quakes. Upset stomach, dizzy, aches on one side or the other and low pitched noise in the ears..are just some of the symptoms. Check them out sometime. www.syzygyjob.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=35

I have a very frightening cough. I cough and cough and can't bring anything up. I mentioned this to my friend and she reported that coughs that start with cold symptoms but continue on and on and are worse at night can be whooping cough. I've got to get checked out. I can barely walk around the block - just want to sleep and cough. Monday. I promise.

I had a cough like that last year. It wasn't too bad during the day but when I went to sleep at night I would just about cough myself to death. It went on and on for weeks and it was really messing up my marathon training because I could not run. Finally one day I said to heck with it and started running anyway because I was tired of sitting around. Believe it or not I stopped coughing. Whenever I ran I didn't cough at all. Whoever would have imagined that?

I am now recovering. I had a turn-around about 5pm yesterday. I went from - I'm going to sit here and gurgle to - Hey! I want some dinner. Energy rising. It is interesting to me that after my railing (is that the right rail/rale?) about the Japanese not being given enough info to make a confirmed decision - now other people are wondering why people are going places with enough radiation to kill them in a couple of hours - what happened to all the cute Japanese robots? Or a bomb robot? I feel vindicated in my paranoia - I wasn't crazy! Not telling people living next to a melting down reactor (two now) IS crazy. Meanwhile for those who are interested in such things - cessium replaces potassium in organisms and radioactive iodine is a version of what all bodies need to maintain their thyroid system. Be thoughtful about eating seafood for the next 200 years....

Well...according to this morning's article..the published figures are in error because of false readings. I'm pretty sure the people in 'charge' have absolutely no idea how bad the reactors are (esp #4) news.yahoo.com/s/ap/ap_on_bi_ge/as_japan_earthquakePaulette..your article doesn't surprise me in the least. I only wonder how many people like this man there are covering up flawed steel in other countries..including ours. We do have our share of greedy people. At this rate..if there are any Japanese people left it will be a miracle..I feel so badly for these people.
