Zacharia Sitchin spoke alot about information supposedly gleaned by studying bas reliefs and the cuniform language of Sumeria. He was definitely a scholar in ancient languages and definitely believed that the Sumerians had been enhanced by the Visitors - that they had bases there, genetically modified the early inhabitants both by combining DNA in the lab and also by sexing with "the daughters of men." This still rings through in the Greek myths (who took a lot of their information from Mystery Schools in Sumer that had preserved some information. OK... So Sitchin talked about "high spun gold". This had miraculous healing qualities. For awhile "high spun gold" was being marketed on the Internet (hmmmm). But then I read this: www.upworthy.com/working-at-tiny-scales-scientists-transform-gold-into-something-even-more-incredible?c=upw1&u=cbf4b7b800f8bc4b46f5f3a5feb083992dfa0f41

It's still being marketed from what I just saw. I had to look it up because I had never heard of it. They call it monoatomic gold, or monatomic gold, because the gold is somehow reduced to single atoms which form a white powder. From the way the snake-oil salesmen on the internet were promoting it it sounds like it does all kinds of wonderful stuff. there's no scientific proof to back up their claims but it wouldn't surprise me since other minerals like sulfur really are wonder drugs. I really don't think the average person of non-royal lineage would be able to go around eating gold though. Maybe that's why it was reserved for kings back in ancient days.
