All, Ever need to convert between mm to inches? Or miles to kilometers? Or grams to ounces? Here's a little free utility that I found and have been using since around 1994? The fellow wrote it gives it away for free and it works flawlessly on virtually everything, Win3.1, Win95...WinXP...Win10, and Linux (using WINE). It is my opinion that the program does not impose adware, trojan-ware or containing any IP backdoors, I do recommend that during and after download to please scan it using your virus scanner program....just to be on the safe side of things. As I said, I have been using this program for...?...25years? It is very kewl and very useful. I put mine on the START BAR for easy access. The utility program does not require installation and it is tiny and fast. Super easy to use and wait, there's more!!! If there is some conversion not included in it, you can even add your own special conversion algorythm. See Josh Madison's CONVERT website at: joshmadison.com/convert-for-windows/:) plutronusps oz/gm are in 'mass-tab'

Thanks, dude. I personally try to stay away from the metric system. I've been opposed to it ever since they tried to shove it down my throat back in the fifth grade when they suddenly decided that America was no longer going to use the old system. Yeah...right. I'm gonna stick to inches and feets and miles even if it kills me!

Thanks, dude. :) I personally try to stay away from the metric system. I've been opposed to it ever since they tried to shove it down my throat back in the fifth grade when they suddenly decided that America was no longer going to use the old system. Yeah...right. ::) I'm gonna stick to inches and feets and miles even if it kills me! :| Convert is not just a metric scale converter, it performs many useful non-metric related conversions, it literally converts hundreds of different types of numeric scales. Troy to Uk oz, moles to corpuscles, steradians to lux, hp to BTUs, PSI to inches of mercury or Pascals...what does it not do? Here are conversion title 'tabs': Pressure Speed Temperature Time Torque Volume Acceleration Amt. of Substance Angle Area Computer Concentration Density Energy Flow Force Light Mass Power And each of those titles contain dozens of conversions to different types of scales relating to the title type. For instance in ' Pressure' one may convert between: Inches of Mercury to: Atmosphere Bar centimeters of Mercury dyne/centimeter 2kiloPascals megaPascals miliPascals, pound/Ft2torr and vice versa, Within each type there are dozens of conversions. If one can not find a use for this utility, one isn't likely alive!!! I just love this little free utility, I use it frequently...that's it, no more... plutronus

My son is in his third year of mechanical engineering and I made sure he had this. I'm sure there are other people who visit this site that are taking notes from you.
