now, to Start the "picking apart" . "There was an incredible amount of fear and panic, because nobody knew what else was coming," said a senior congressional official with direct knowledge of the events on that and subsequent days, who declined to be named for this story" fear and panic, because nobody knew what else was coming,"from www.zdnet.com/article/snowden-leaks-fear-and-panic-in-congress/________________________________________________________________________________ Bear with me. I DO feel a little silly . . but the "brother" of the SanBERN guy (that got mad at a party) . . . when exactly did he begin to feel fear and panic? How many minutes are "missing" from his phone? (staying tuned)

What do you mean by police agencies? I'm not concerned with the local police because they are just a bunch of yahoos. The Feds I am definitely concerned about because they are controlled by bunch of lying, cheating, no good, low down, power hungry, side winding sneaky snake in the grass politicians. I wouldn't say I'm afraid of them though. PO'd might be a better term.

US Police are ANY of the government agencies that have the power to arrest people, so that includes the shoot'n yahoos, the ATF, the FBI, the NSA, and in many states the DMV [yep have police powers now], the list just goes on and on. I do not remember voting any of those non-public-oversight agencies to be able to legally invoke those powers...do you?

I would have clicked the poll but like I said, I'm not "afraid" of them. I hate what they are doing and I'm very angry about it but I'm no more afraid of them than George Washington was afraid of the British or Jim Bowie was afraid of the Mexicans. The current Feds are just the latest bunch of totalitarian dictator wannabes to come along. They're not the first and they won't be the last.

If I was going to vote numbers 1 and 3 would probably be a tie.

I vote all of our "rights" have been trampled, and we are brainwashed into thinking we live in a "democratic" state. Back in my early 20s, I was railroaded by the criminal injustice system, and my life was in shambles over some false allegations. My choices were, plead guilty to a charge I wasn't guilty of in exchange for a lesser sentence, or take my chances going to trial, and face major jail/ prison time. My paid lawyer advised me to take the deal, which I did, which spit me into a revenue generating machine which was a revolving door, with impossible hoops to jump through that sets you up for guaranteed failure, which in turn ruined me financially, emotionally, and mentally for four long years. I despise our system, and anyone who has personally gone through it, or has family that has, knows what a nasty, slimy, unforgiving and terrible system it really is. I now have a lawyer on speed dial who is an ex-prosecutor, married to a judge for any incident that may arise. My advice is remember your fifth amendment, and USE it. I was niave enough to think that the police were logical and unbiased people, and had to learn the hard way they are trained to be deceptive, and their only job is to create court cases, and generate revenue. I am just as mad as you sky, and like you, don't fear them one bit, but despise what they have done to our country. The founding Fathers are rolling in their graves right now at the travesty our once free and beautiful country has become!
Oh, and PS, I am a white, upper middle class person who could afford a paid lawyer, I can't imagine what the outcome would've been had I been a minority race living in poverty with no resources to fight the beast. It is truly an unfair, DISGUSTING game, and it is always a lose lose should you find yourself sucked into it. They find it amusing to see how far they can bring you down, and view you as less of a human than the Grays do. I would take a nasty abduction from those jerks than a round in criminal court any day.
