www.phantomsandmonsters.com/2016/10/lost-in-alternate-reality.html Monday, October 03, 2016 Lost in an Alternate RealityPosted by Lon Strickler Here's an interesting report forwarded to me by my friend and colleague Albert S. Rosales several years ago: Location: Rostov-on-Don, Russia Date: January 14 1978 Time: 06:00 a.m. Three 18-year old men, Mikhail Babkin, Nikolay Leontyev and Vitaliy Kravchenko were in a room at the local sports complex “Oktyabryonok”. They had been celebrating the passing of the old New Year with glasses of champagne and enjoying steam baths in the sauna and swimming pool, also eating mixed with some vodka. At 0600A the watchman proposed that the young men go home and accompanied to the rear exit of the building, through a long corridor with concrete walls without windows. The corridor was located in the basement area near the pool’s walls. They were walking along the corridor in the following order, the watchman walking ahead, followed by Leontyev, then Babkin followed by Kravchenko. The corridor was very narrow. Suddenly Mikhail seemed to trip, despite the narrow corridor and the obvious lack of reason. The smooth concrete floor had no potholes. However Babkin’s left leg had trip over some kind of “hole”. He screamed and Leontyev turned around in amazement. He could not believe his eyes as he saw Babkin’s shoulder penetrate into the concrete wall and in a moment Babkin’s entire body vanished into the wall. He disappeared, apparently dissolving into the wall (!). The stunned witnesses began examining the wall with their hands looking for any doors or crevasses but their hands only touched concrete. Mikhail later told his friends that he had suddenly entered a small and dark room. To his left he could see an object, which resembled a medical examination chair. Across from him he could see a slightly opened door. There was a narrow window on the right wall of the room. He could see tops of trees entirely covered in dense green leaves, they were moving about in a strong wind. Babkin was amazed, it was in the middle of winter, but outside this “window” it appeared to be summer and broad daylight. Also a few seconds ago he had been walking in an underground corridor and here he was looking at a view of a fourth story floor. Moving as if in a trance Babkin moved towards the slightly opened door and pushed it open. He then entered another room, also shrouded in gloom. There was a round platform on the ceiling that gave off a faint light and there were no windows in the room. A similar “medical chair” stood near the wall. He felt very lightheaded and moved about like a robot, he walked forward and opened another door stepping into the strangest room yet. It was absolutely dark, with some bright areas visible in the inky darkness. The lights seemed to hypnotically influence Babkin. He became numb unable to look away from the lights. Suddenly he noticed several black humanoid figures that appeared in front of him, faintly lit by the pulsating patches of light. Their heads appeared rectangular in shape. They were five of them and they stood unmoving in front of him. One of the humanoids, standing in the front was slightly hunched over and appeared to be working in some kind of device that gave off light. The device was not big, resembling a “corncob” with a pointy end, which was pointed directly at Babkin. The object emanated a very bright light but strangely it did not illuminate the surrounding area. Babkin then heard a male voice inside his head, the voice said, “This one?” Another voice, also inside Babkin’s head answered, “No not him”. The first voice then said immediately, “Memory erasure is necessary”. This phrase frightened Babkin terribly. He realized that with deafening clarity that it was his memory that was going to be erased. Horrified, Babkin seemed to snap out of his confused state and ran out the door and suddenly jumped back into the corridor of the sports complex, screaming inarticulate remarks. He heard a door closed behind him with a loud slam, when he turned around the door was gone. His friends had been searching for him for about an hour, running across the complex in complete despair. But according to Babkin he had spent only five minutes in that other strange parallel world. www.phantomsandmonsters.com/2016/10/lost-in-alternate-reality.html

This is a fascinating account. I love the mundane aspect of the events before-hand - vodka, food, sauna. The fact that the watchman thought they should leave is telling. (I'd love to read his account). The fact that they could have been impaired does not lessen the strangeness of the event - lost in a small hall with people searching for him. 5 minutes lost by his account. To say, "They were all drunk," in no way makes this story go away either. Drunk people do not usually disappear through walls and then reappear with a strange story.
And I have a personal response to this one as well. I had a powerful dream in my young adulthood. I reported it on the Mufon site and moved all that over here if anyone wants to go diving for it. I was walking along a road, was made to enter a black car with tinted window, two men who did not touch me but nevertheless opened the door and I got in. I was taken to a building that seemed like a warehouse, maybe quansat hut shaped. The men sat with me while I waited for...something. I was terrified. I was afraid they they or someone else was going to hurt me. I was also very thirsty and there was a sink nearby. I was afraid to get a drink; afraid to ask permission, afraid they would inflict physical pain on me. But eventually I asked if I could go get a drink (indicting the sink) and one shrugged and said, "Go ahead." I went expecting the worst with every step. But I got there, drank out of my hand and then one of them said to the other, "I think this one will make it."
You can probably see why I reacted to the following above: "Babkin then heard a male voice inside his head, the voice said, “This one?” Another voice, also inside Babkin’s head answered, “No not him”. The first voice then said immediately, “Memory erasure is necessary”. This phrase frightened Babkin terribly."

www.phantomsandmonsters.com/2017/02/readers-respond-time-anomalies.html Wednesday, February 15, 2017 Readers Respond: Time Anomalies
I received a lot of response to 'Craig, I'm home' post. Here are two of the accounts forwarded by readers:Posted by Lon Strickler / plus.google.com/+LonStrickler It was either late 1966 or early 1967. I and a friend, John, were heading home at night in my VW Bug. This was in Long Beach, California. Being typical rectangular blocks, you could see a long way ahead. I remember seeing the stop light change a couple of times at the street, Willow Street, where I would be turning right to continue home. We continued talking until we got to Willow, then went completely silent. We both looked at each other and I said, "Where is the stop light". Looking to our left, we saw it was one block away. John asked, "How did we get over here"? I asked John if I had made any turns while driving toward Willow. He assured me I hadn't. I do believe I would have remembered. We were not high or anything. It was just a straight shot and I would have had to make a right turn, then a left turn to get where we were. That was basically it. Was there any time lost? I have no idea. We didn't think to check. Periodically, over the years, we would bring this up. To this day it is completely perplexing and I have no explanation for it. SH ----- Lon, The "Craig I'm home" story jogged my memory of something in the same vein with our family. I have a twelve year old son and when he was seven or eight, my wife and he returned home from the store. Coming up the stairs, my son stopped and said, "What?" and my wife asked him about it. He said he heard someone calling his name in the house. It freaked my wife out and they searched all of the rooms, but there was no one there. It happened another time shortly thereafter and then my son started getting freaked out about going downstairs from the living room to the family room because he told us he'd seen a man standing at the top of the stairs. We asked him to describe the man, and almost perfectly he described an older man with a goatee, bald head and glasses--my wife's father who had died back in the 1980's. We showed him a picture of my wife's father and he immediately said, "That's who I saw." Periodically he will see my wife's father: he once saw him by the stairs and walk out the front door, and once in the garage when he and I were pulling out to run an errand. For several months it was happening regularly and it was starting to bother our son, so one night, my wife went to our son's room, and out loud said something to the effect of, "Dad I know you're watching over him, but you're freaking him out and we need you to back off." After that, the sightings did indeed back off. Since then he has reported seeing his grandfather from time to time, but not with the same regularity. Also, we've had two dogs during the course of my son's life (now deceased), and he occasionally reports seeing them wandering around the house as well. We have explained to him that he was probably really seeing his grandfather's spirit and of the dogs, and now that he's older he's okay with it. He doesn't tell us every time he sees someone, but when we ask, he says yeah, every once in a while he will see people. The "Craig I'm Home" story was different, but as I said, it made me think of these happenings and thought I'd report in. Thanks! CC ----- I am also reminded of The Versailles Time-Slip: Ghosts of Petit Trianon. The year was 1901, and a pair of friends, 55-year-old Anne Moberly and 38-year-old Eleanor Jourdain, were on holiday in France. They were both teachers at St. Hugh's College in Oxford. Moberly was in fact the principal there, and Jourdain would become her successor fourteen years later. The two set out to see the vast Palace of Versailles, the center of political power in France until the French Revolution in 1789. They turned to visit the Petit Trianon, a small chateau on the grounds given by Louis XVI to his 19-year-old wife, Marie Antoinette, as a private retreat for her personal use. Moberly and Jourdain got a bit lost searching for the chateau, and it was during this interlude that they made history, even if only in some small way. They encountered several people in 1789 period attire, carrying out period activities, and passed a handful of structures that had not existed since 1789. Their unexpected visit to 112 years in the past culminated with an encounter with Marie Antoinette herself, sketching on the grounds of her chateau. www.phantomsandmonsters.com/2017/02/craig-im-home.html Tuesday, February 14, 2017 'Craig, I'm home' Posted by Lon Strickler / plus.google.com/+LonStricklerCraig called in to tell of something weird he experienced at his home: “Me and my buddy one time, we were downstairs. I was like 10. We were playing with toys or whatever. We were playing with Nintendo. I don't really remember exactly what it was but we heard 'Craig, I'm home.' I was like, Okay, I'm like, wicked, we run upstairs, my dad's home. Run to the door and nobody is there, right. I'm like, Okay, whatever. I go back downstairs. My buddy Ryan is like, that's weird. I'm not sure if he heard the same thing or not. I'd have to ask him. It was a long time ago. But like 30 minutes later, the exact same thing, like, 'Craig, I'm home.' I just froze. I didn't know what to do. Anyway, I walked up the stairs and he was actually home that time but I heard that exact same thing like 30 minutes apart. Another time, I'm with my brother...he was 14. I was like 12. It was two years later or so and we were in the living-room and he's messing around with something he shouldn't have been messing with. Anyway, I look through the curtains because I'm kind of freaking out because he shouldn't have what he has, and I see my dad walking up the grass, coming across. He used to walk home from taking the bus. I saw him come right up to the door as I was running downstairs and my brother was running upstairs. I saw him at the door, right. I go downstairs, I heard the door opening, I go downstairs, start fiddling with the TV acting like everything is cool, you know what I mean, and nobody is there. So I go back upstairs, I look around. He's not there. I walk outside, he's not there. Go back downstairs, start watching TV and, boom, I hear the door open. It was like 10 minutes later. I heard the door open and he was actually home. He came down and I wouldn't even talk to him, it was so messed up.” Source: Jimmy Church - Fade To Black – February 8, 2017

It goes north and south and I was going east toward that, wide awake. I drive a brand-new truck. I had plenty of sleep. Driving conditions were perfect. I could see stars in the sky and a partial moon. It was very bright. Then, as I got close to interchange, there was some slight fog but it wasn't anything too drastic, it was just minor but, you know, like, to make a long story short, the last thing I remember is approaching this interchange and what seemed to be like, exactly like, maybe 2 or 3 seconds. I'm out of the fog and about 2 or 3 minutes after that, I noticed the mile marker signs being different, meaning, instead of being 81-82-83 they were 37-38, that way... lower sequence and I noticed that the moon, that was in front of me, was out to my left, so I was obviously going south. I pulled over right away. I pulled out my map to look at the very next exit coming up and I was literally 15 miles south of that interchange in what seemed to be about, maybe, 30 seconds. It really really freaked me out because I consider myself a pretty sharp individual. I'm in good health. No medication. I'm on a dedicated route that I've been doing for three and a half years. I can drive it blindfolded and for that to happen. I had to drive an extra couple of miles to get myself situated. I could not believe how far south that I had driven and the only thing I can think of is that I went through that fog bank and the rest is history and it's always really bothered me. Like thinking there was something wrong with my mental health or my, you know, my physical presence.” Source: Coast To Coast AM - May 26, 2017 www.phantomsandmonsters.com/2017/06/daily-2-cents-lost-time-in-fog-biting.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+PhantomsAndMonstersAPersonalJourney+%28Phantoms+and+Monsters%29

Once I had seen, with four of my friends, a German advancing tank division in the Ropsha outskirts [Soviet Union...during the Siege of Leningrad. Lon]. We stood like stoned, observed all of the battle between German and Soviet anti-tank platoon which was eliminated by the majority of tanks, but some tanks also caught on fire and their crews were then shot by remaining infantry and we noticed each gun remaining on the battlefield. When it was over, we excavated 14 guns exactly the same that were shown to us and even their disposition and direction was the same...like we had witnessed! Some were missing (actually 90 percent of them) but those which remained untouched were pointed in the same direction they were pointed in our mirage! A lot more of such events are barely visible, like shadows, but sometimes they become even touchable and reacting the people! As once we were questioned by two horsemen about why our guns, which we brought with us, were in such conditions (we repaired many of the excavated ones and registered and took some for our own defence) – and, thank God, that one of our guys which likes to wear his Nazi uniform when excavating...because these horsemen were like real! Even when they suddenly came to us, the first thing that one of them did was extinguish our campfire and told us that we were fools because Germans will see us and kill us, like the partisans which he thought we were. And they also questioned us about our clothes and our vehicle! Also, thank God, they seemed to be hurrying somewhere, so they after 5 minutes wished us luck and left. But when I realized that one of them was also willing to exchange my gun to his because I had a sniper SVT40 (which was mint so that is why he even took me like an example just 'Look, how the guns which you have to take from the enemy you kill should look like!"), but I was really shocked, so much that I only nodded. After all having the proof that you are not mad seeing that will be more sufficient then the loss of the cool rifle. And still the thing that I will keep forever is the 5 round stripper clip [probably a Mosin Nagant modified 1891 Russian carbine. Lon] with AP ammo which one of them tossed to me because by his thoughts I needed them more because I am a sniper! So anyway no one will probably believe that the simple Mosin stripper clip with AP rounds came through 70 years by the timewarp instead of being excavated but I still know that it had! And that makes it priceless for me!” Source: Youtube comments, John Sheppard www.phantomsandmonsters.com/2018/02/siege-of-leningrad-time-slip.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+PhantomsAndMonstersAPersonalJourney+%28Phantoms+and+Monsters%29

mysteriousuniverse.org/2018/03/very-strange-accounts-of-bizarre-time-anomalies/ Very Strange Accounts of Bizarre Time Anomaliesby Brent Swancer / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/brentswancer/ March 16, 2018 The concept of time and how we perceive it has long been the subject of science fiction stories, thought experiments, and deep philosophical reflection, producing a mind-boggling array of ideas, theories, and opinions. Far from being the simple, linear line that many of us may think of it as, time is a deeply complex quantity for which there are many theories, and which we do not yet fully understand. Perhaps nowhere is the baffling potential nature of time more apparent than with the numerous bizarre tales of strange, unexplained phenomena regarding time, incidents often referred to as temporal anomalies which can include time freezing, time travel, time slips, time loops, and everything in between. Here we will look into various weird accounts of time anomalies that serve to baffle, surprise, and suggest that time is perhaps far more malleable and more bizarre than we can possibly imagine. One of the weirder stories that has circulated in recent times is that of a tunnel in London that is supposedly serves as some sport of time portal, where the flow of time seems to slow to a crawl or even a full stop. In July of 2017 a very odd report came out on a site called Portals of London, describing a peculiar time anomaly that supposedly occurred at the historic Woolwich foot tunnel, which spans under the Thames River and has been in operation since 1912. In 2011 the foot tunnel was closed down in order to carry out renovations and refurbishments. Inside the Woolwich foot tunnelWhen contractors went into the tunnels to begin their work they did so expecting it to be a fairly quick job, and it wasn’t expected to take more than a few months at most. However, the tunnel would supposedly be closed for more than a year and a half, a delay which baffled the residents of the area. Talking to the workers who had been down there started to paint a very strange picture, as they allegedly began to report having experienced strange time anomalies while walking through the tunnel, such as working in the tunnels for hours only to emerge back into daylight to discover that only a few minutes had actually passed, or of walking through the tunnel to find that the trip had inexplicably taken far less time than it should have. One worker on the tunnel purportedly told of a strange experience he had in the Woolwich Tunnel thus: I was one of the first ones to experience it. We were working from both ends, as it were, and had tents on both sides of the river. It was pretty basic, if you wanted something from the other side, you just had to walk it through the tunnel. Anyway the foreman’s on the other side and he radios to ask me across. So I walk through the tunnel – the ‘long walk’, we called it, funnily enough – and it’s slightly spooky because no one else is down there, they’re all working on the lift shafts, and I get up the other side, find the foreman, and his eyes nearly pop out of his head. Says he only radioed like a minute ago and how did I get there so quick? Wouldn’t take my word for it I’d walked. Reckoned I had a buggy down there or something, that it was some kind of prank.
But I stand my ground and he starts to see I’m not lying. Anyway he forgets what he called me there for. He gives me this big red plastic box, tells me to walk back over and hold it up for him when I get to the other side. So I head back down, the lonely walk back, thinking shouldn’t we be getting on with some work. When I get to the top I wave the red box in the air and radio the foreman. ‘You just left me!’ he’s saying, ‘No more than a minute ago’. That’s when I start to feel a bit weird.Apparently strange time slips and other temporal anomalies became rather commonplace down there in the murk and gloom as they worked, and no one had any rational explanation for it all. It became such a reliable given that time slowed down or even stopped in the tunnel that workers allegedly stopped even trying to use their watches to tell time, resorting to using egg timers instead. One worker explains: My initial feelings was I was pretty freaked out by it all. But once everyone else had experienced it, it was amazing how quickly it seemed normal. It became like a joke. It was a laugh, you know, a source of giggles. Someone said we’d invented the teleporter and were all going to be rich. The foreman stopped trusting watches and phones when we were down there, and took to using egg-timers. A few of the young agency lads tried to claim extra on their time sheets. That was the thing, though: time froze when you were down there. If you were down there for the full working day, fixing the tiling, you’d basically finish work, come back up and it would still be morning. One thing we couldn’t get our head round was how the two, sort of, “time-places” a guy was in seemed to be happening at the same time, as it were. Like I see you emerge across the river in no time at all, but there’s also a ‘you’ who reckons he’s spending four hours in the tunnel. Some workers apparently tested out their theory that time was actually stopping for them by camping out for a whole 3 days down in the dank tunnel. When they finally emerged into the outside world it was claimed that the day and time was exactly the same as when they had first descended into the dark to begin their odd experiment. In another experiment, one worker named Petar tied a rope around his waist as others held onto the other end. The idea was for him to walk through the tunnel with the rope and then signal the others with a red flag when he got to the other side, after which other workers would shout out to the ones holding the rope that he had crossed and then pull on the rope. It seemed like a pretty standard, even silly bit of experimentation and fooling around, but things would apparently get very weird very fast. One of the people holding the rope said of what happened: I’m kneeling down and craning my head down so I can watch Petar walk around the curve, [the tunnel bends in an inverted bow underground – PoL] and he laughs and waves at me for a minute, then gets bored, keeps walking. And he’s just about to round the curve, out of sight – it hasn’t been long, just a minute or so, around the same time it’d took us to walk down the steps – and I feel the rope around me tighten. Then I hear the lads up top. ‘He’s across. Waving a red flag’. The thing is, Petar hears it too.
And he stops. Turns round. And he’s looking at me. His hand slowly reaches into his big jacket pocket, and he pulls out the edge of this large red flag. For a moment I grin. I reckon they’re all having me on. But it’s the look on his face, that’s what still haunts me. Nobody’s that good an actor. His face – and he’s a big man, mind you, fearless. Our Petar was a big character, always at the centre of things, always with this big smile. Never saw him take anything too serious in all our days til then, but – I don’t know how to describe it, it was – fear. Just plain fear on his face. And he’s looking right at me and I know what he’s thinking. I know what he’s trying to figure out – do I keep going, or do I come back? He takes one step towards me, then stops. I don’t know how long we looked at each other like that, neither of us talking. Then in the end he turns round again, and carries on, out of sight.
Well, I’m up those stairs like a shot and when I get up top there he is, across the river, unmistakeable even from that distance, red flag in one hand, another guy’s arm around his shoulders. Anyway I didn’t like that. That freaked me out, that did.The whole bonkers story really took off when it was first released on the site, and generated a lot of discussion and speculation on whether any of it was real or not. However, while there are those who hold it up as a genuine time anomaly and a real case, others have criticized it as being nothing more than a fictionalized tale passed off as an actual account of the unexplained. The story of the Woolwich Tunnel Time Anomaly is still fascinating either way. CONTINUE READING: mysteriousuniverse.org/2018/03/very-strange-accounts-of-bizarre-time-anomalies/

And the article goes on with more stories..... 😊
I “experience” some of this. I question my own memory, so tentatively, it would be quite different to experience this with other people as witnesses too.
Most of the time, the “familiarity” is explainable by telling myself that “I dreamed it”.
(I’ve also had a lot of tests done. Except for the one health issue it is proclaimed that I am normal.)

mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/11/mysterious-time-slips-on-a-liverpool-street/ Mysterious Time Slips on a Liverpool Streetby Brent Swancer / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/brentswancer/November 10, 2019 One very strange realm of the paranormal is that of what are known as “time slips,” wherein a person will suddenly find themselves in surroundings that seem to be alien and far removed from the reality they know, entrenched in another time. In these cases these witnesses tell of being surrounded by a scene from another era, decades or even centuries past, witnessing events unfolding around them that have happened long ago, only to find themselves whisked back to the present, leaving them bewildered. These time slips seem to be liable to happen anywhere, to anyone, but there seem to be places where this time slip anomaly is more pronounced than others, and one of these is a rather posh little street in England, which has accrued quite a few amazing reports of people being transported to times long gone. Located in Liverpool, England, is a quaint little street lined with shops and cafes, leading from Clayton Square up to the famous Church of St. Luke. Mostly closed to cars, Bold Street is a place where one can stroll around, do some shopping, sit out and people watch at a cafe, or get a drink at one of the area’s many bars or pubs, and it is mostly a pleasant place to take a stroll. The street has a bit of history behind it, originally designed as a ropewalk, essentially a narrow lane where materials are laid out to be twisted into rope, and Bold Street was measured as the perfect standard length for the ropes needed for sailing ships of the day, but with merchants increasingly finding it necessary to live nearby, the area evolved into a residential district in the late 18th century and the ropewalk became a sort of gathering place and place for small businesses to cater to the influx of people into the area, going on to be seen as an upscale, fashionable shopping district in later decades. In modern days, is a popular place to walk and shop for locals and visitors, but it has also oddly become rather well-known in the world of the paranormal for its frequent reports of time slips. In the 1980s there was the curious case of a woman who was eating lunch at one of the area’s cafes when the otherwise clear and sunny day suddenly became inexplicably dark, as if a cloud had covered the sun. The lady looked outside and realized that oddly the throngs of shoppers who had been walking about moments before were now gone, and that the few people still out there were dressed in what appeared to be 1950s style clothing. When the surprised witness looked around her the interior of the restaurant had also changed, and sitting next to her was a dapper gentleman in a 1950s style vintage suit. The man apparently struck up a conversation with her, and as they talked she looked back to the street briefly, but when she looked back towards the curious man she had just been talking to, he was gone and the restaurant was back to normal again, the street outside once again crowded with people and the day bright and sunny again. Another strange case happened with a young lady named Imogen, who had gone to Bold Street to buy a present for her sister’s baby shower. She found a baby supply store called MotherCare, and went about getting the gifts, surprised by how cheap the prices were, yet things got very weird when she went to pay for them. When she took out her credit card to pay, the clerk looked at the card as if it was some alien artifact, not seeming to really recognize at all what it was, and informed Imogen that they only accepted cash. Later on, she related the strange experience to her mother, who was surprised to hear that since the MotherCare store had been closed a long time ago and there was a bank at that location now. I still have “time slips” of the internet kind.... 🙄🤪
Recently, it was in internet news about a fish with the “face of a human”. Haven’t we heard about this before? Like several years ago??

www.ufoinsight.com/a-night-at-a-hotel-70-years-in-the-past/ A Night At A Hotel 70 Years In The Past! May 26, 2020 Written by: Marcus Lowth Surprisingly or not, there are many accounts of people stepping from one era into another on record. These apparent time slips can seemingly happen anywhere in the world and appear out of nowhere. Often without those involved in them fully realizing what is happening. One particularly intriguing case occurred in 1979. Or should that be 1905? The encounter we are about to examine involves two married couples from England who were holidaying in France on their way to Spain. While searching for a place to stay they would find themselves at a hotel that had old-fashioned interior and seemingly old-fashioned guests. Later research, after they returned home, would suggest that this strange hotel was not in a specific location, but in a specific time – seemingly somewhere in the early twentieth century. The case would eventually attract the attention of paranormal researchers from near and far. And while there are discrepancies within the account (which we will also examine), these apparent anomalies might be opportunities to understanding this, and other truly bizarre happenings that apparently surround all of us. Did the two married couples really travel back in time? Or might the whole thing have been some kind of bizarre group hallucination? Maybe it was some kind of practical joke? Whatever the truth might one day prove to be, the case is a fascinating one. And another small piece of the puzzle that is our collective reality. The tale, while available in several publications, first appeared in the 1988 book World of Strange Phenomena by Charles Berlitz.
