Well, being a Astronaut and a moon walker does give him some bragging rights..lol. Truth is he doesn't know. If he states no off world being have ever visited here, he's taking the old 'safe company answer' we have all heard before.
The question was once does even any life other than us exist in the known Universe. Times has changed. The universal response now unless your a fundamentalist 'head in the sand' religious extremist is - based on recent new knowledge from Hubble and other orbiting observatories & their data studies - planets around other stars abound! The remote has changed to a certainty now ....short of actual scientific proof. That proof maybe not long in coming now too.
When our instruments detect repeatedly artificial light from these planets....such as technology (city lights perhaps), the next question will have more foundation. Have they visited here?
I would like Alan Bean to study instead, not read, but really study the Chilean 2014 UFO video. Read the reports from the physicists and scientific experts that studied it for 2 years before concluding it is a true unknown by our current sciences.
Among the noise and false news on you tube and other places (you really think 'false news' was invented in the last election? It was invented & tested in the UFO community first), there are some remarkable indisputable UFO events that stand out. The phoenix lights, the Belgium Triangles 1990-1991, and the Chilean air force video of 2014.
If Astronaut Bean still thinks we have not been visited by something after studying those major reports, than he is not a scientist, nor one of good conscious. I think he is, if given the chance we hope.
Politically, Science will take the credit for discovering life off the earth, but UFO witnesses who have been ignored or laughed at knocking relentlessly on sciences 'back door' will have to be finally 'let in'.

Well wading through volumes of information/disinformation..conspiracy theories..theories..suggestions..ideas..possibilities..and still zero proof..it remains the un-topic of interest I'd say it's a matter of 'faith' but I'll reserve that for my more spiritual bents. To be honest..if I never had the 'experiences' I've had, I'd be on the other side of the fence with the die hard skeptics..but I went around the bend and ended up on the other-other side of the fence ...sort of. I am still one leery customer..not apt to believe conspiracy take-overs or mountains of aliens under ground getting ready to become politicians..mostly because I can't figure out what they'd take over. Maybe they'd just do a better job I absolutely believe a LOT of accounts..those like my own (of course) Travis Walton..the Hills..there really IS a ring of truth to those who have 'met' grey aliens...or a ring of icky horror...contaminated air space. They SMELL. Kidding aside..if it's too confabulous..it probably is just smoke and mirrors.

Disinformation is intentionally false or misleading information that is spread in a calculated way to deceive target audiences. Wikipedia ****** And smoke and mirrors?
Again, a way to deceive.
Whatever it is..., some people make a "border-line dishonest" profit from being a "magician" or a "disinformation mol" ( not talking about people who write books for profit - there's no way anyone can be forced to read- eyelids held open and all).
The question is, what is the INTENT behind being deceiving? Some people are bound to say (and feel) that their intentions are honest.....

I think some people just make up stories for the attention...not really to deceive. Some may have some mental thing going on..a fantasy world real to them..schizophrenic's see a lot of things. Then I think some people do mislead to move people away from getting to close to a truth. I think everything about aliens and UFO's is amazingly full of holes and I think our traveling 'friends' do that on purpose..to keep people wondering..to NOT provide any proof or leave any 'carbon' prints behind. No record of the journey.
Speculation..travelers from the past not daring to leave any true evidence of themselves in a time not their own.. Nah I don't buy time travel at all.. who knows..but it's suspicious in itself that there isn't a ton of proof since there are so many encounter stories and abductions. Well heck..if they never visited how could sci fi writers come up with books and movies about them...that appeal to so many people? Or did we invent them after the fact of watching all the movies and reading the books? Nah..I know they smell and that's not in the books. LOL

Or did we invent them after the fact of watching all the movies and reading the books? Nah..I know they smell and that's not in the books. LOL A friend of mine and others who have been on radio programs for years at a meeting had a bad schizophrenic episode. It was sad and distressing. Worse, as with all schizophrenics are the last to be convinced they need serious help. Many are in the UFO conspiracy paranoia. After all, everyone is out to get them right? Pouting. I wasn't there, but my close friend who went and is trained in diagnosing it knew it was coming. She told me don't go to the meeting this time. Glad I didn't. The audience were mostly his friends and were compassionate and patient, but don't think he will be a speaker for a long time. Most people cloud the water wanting attention too. The you tube videos badly hoaxed. Like the internet, its spell makes those who perpetuate these hoaxes don't think they are accountable, it goes out into the either. Trey making threats against some public people, and see how they wont know who I am comes crashing threw your front door with sledge hammers and court search warrants. In the case of UFO hoaxes, they keep the lies going. They feel its easier to screw up more than admit. Steven

Side note I HAVE to say to Swampy (and rather sarcastically myself) :
What do yo MEAN when posting a picture of "a dog-face" with such a quote? Are you being sarcastic?
(I would have a hard time myself accepting truth from a "dog-face". And, IF you are a superior being and have access to truths, you should know this and appear to me as .... something else)
~sigh~

Sorry about your friend, Steve. Praying for his "recovery".
I was tempted to rant about his patient "crowd" , who saw this coming, and felt it was inevitable .... ah, but again that is going to my own personal. I will save that for my own thread, on another day. Stave off that anger for a distant day, and see if I am still angry. 🙂
Thank you
