www.unknowncountry.com/journal/are-visitors-about-land-and-if-so-should-we-be-afraidmaybe-very-afraid Are the Visitors About to Land, and if so Should We be Afraid...Maybe VERY Afraid?by Whitley Strieber Thursday, June 2, 2011 Are the Visitors About to Land, and if so Should We be Afraid...Maybe VERY Afraid? Thursday, June 2, 2011 On April 25, famed physicist Stephen Hawking warned that aliens, if they came here, might prove to be dangerous. He said, “We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet. I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet. Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonise whatever planets they can reach.” Then, on June 6 the National Geographic Channel aired a special on alien invasion that essentially repeated this warning. It assembled a team of experts who were uniformly of the opinion that aliens, if they come here, are going to be dangerous and difficult to handle--assuming, that is, that they don't simply kill or enslave us all. Meanwhile, warnings are appearing all over the internet about a 'false-flag' alien attack that is supposedly going to be faked by parties unknown, presumably the government. Last week, the online prankster group Anonymous was supposed to flood UFO sites with reports of an invasion by triangular craft, but it never materialized due to the fact that we and others were tipped off about it and published warnings. I have always wondered if the visitors might show up in a more obvious way just before or during the early stages of some great planetary catastrophe, and since we're at that point right now, it's worth asking what it might actually be like if they did. Thanks for posting My 11 11 is what I feel is aliens landing. It was only in a dream they told me. I agree about some horrible calamity crisis right after they do land. I can't say it would be dangerous. No one can. If they are coming here to do harm, why bother to slip this date into my dream 14 years ago.

While I do think something might happen on Nov. 11 I'm absolutely against media hype that jumps on the back of media hype to alarm people into doing very stupid things. There has already been a huge jump in murder/suicides around the country because people are already afraid. Why spread speculation? If aliens land with bad attitude whatcha gonna do? There are 'catastrophes' for someone every darned day...to live with the worry of it for heaven only knows how long is actually cruel. We're supposed to be living each day to the fullest not fearing tomorrows and killing off their children because they're afraid they're going to die. Of course once National Geographic aired their documentary and pointed out Hawkings comments (which were made months ago)...everyone else was going to crawl out of the woodwork with their little doomsday versions especially after Harold Camping's fiasco. Guess people just don't have anything better to do..

The aliens landed a long time ago. Why start worrying about it now?

Beats me..but it's as irritating to amp people up against a possible landing as it is for people to believe they'll be handing out lollipops. Is it really so hard to understand that as a people (considering the whole world here) we fail to think alike..in fact pick two people on the street and they probably will not be processing the same way. We have different methods of approaching problems, religion, morals.. why is it so hard to understand that we may have absolutely nothing in common with something a bit further out? I think scare tactics could be really dangerous for us and them

I just hope that if they do come nobody gets trigger happy. Hi Touched , You and I are concidered rednecks even though I was born in northern Indiana . My current location is Murray Ky . I had feelings about the landing . Our good ole boys would probably pull out their 32 ,9, or 357 . and try to wipe them out . All they will do is put a bunch of holes in the parked cars in the lot . and maybe a few people also . A great example is the Kelly Ky shoot out . Google it and read the story . ENJOY IT . Ron

And let's not forget how the good old boys in West Virginia were shooting holes in water towers back during the War of the Worlds broadcast because they thought they were Martian tripods. One more reason why ET should not attempt to land on the White House lawn.

If they have a sense of humor...chances are they keep their distance for those reasons..and laugh while we (how did that big cockroach in men in black put it) scurry about our pointless existences and worry about things like alien invasion and wondering if mother nature or the aliens will take us out first. They probably just worry about causing us to hurt ourselves in the process of trying to save the planet

I don't believe with how ever far their technology has taken them we would not be able to hurt them in the least. They have their defenses I'm sure. We may as well be shooting a squirt gun at them.
