Guess no forum on UFO's and aliens would be complete without :
Alien Sandwich (PB & pickle!)
by Kristen (Canada)
Okay, okay so of course this does not sound so appealing by the title. But trust me, it's GREAT!
You will need:
2 slices of bread (white or whole wheat) Peanut butter (specifically the KRAFT kind) Small pickles
How To Prepare:
1. Spread the peanut butter onto your bread. (You can choose to butter your bread or not.) 2. Cut the pickles into thin-ish slices. Place on the peanut butter. 3. Cut your sandwich in half - Eat up!
Don't knock it til ya try it! I eat these everywhere! (the sweet from the PB & sour from the pickle is DELICIOUS!)

A sandwich only an alien could love.... Reminds me of French actor Michael Lonsdale line in 'Moonraker', dryly..."May I press you to a cucumber sandwich?" The recipe.... would that be dill or sweet pickles? Steve

I think she mentions dill because it makes the peanut butter taste sweet..shudders all over..

I love peanut butter but I hate pickles so I think I will pass on your suicide sandwich. I would probably die if I ate something with pickles on it. I do like peanut butter and banana sandwiches though. I eat them almost every day. Elvis would be proud.

I do like peanut butter and banana sandwiches though. I eat them almost every day. Elvis would be proud. Like pickles, and peanut butter, but not together. Paola Harris and I worked an important case together just recently, important enough for her she felt to fly out from Colorado, and bring a camera woman along too. Afterward I celebrated at the restaurant with my first ever banana split in my entire life! Getting gray hairs...was about time I did ...just never got around to it I guess. Delicious as expected. Always loved ice cream. Who doesn't. Really sharing now... my grandma taught me how to make fried baloney sandwiches.... if they seem greasy, actually the fried baloney leaves most of the grease in the pan afterward. When ever on those rare occasions I make one, I always think of her fondly.... When as a kid I got into trouble about some minor thing...my grandma would remind my mom about her growing up, which used to infuriate my mom... ;D My grandma and I were very close. We would spend hours talking. I like to think me being a good listener during UFO investigations interviewing the witnesses is all credit to her. She told me about the depression, the War on the home front, how once Baby face Nelson hid out in the local town grocery in Oklahoma, bought candy (a luxury in the depression) for my mom and her sister (my aunt). I like old films on Turner classics too perhaps for the same reason. They give me deep insights into those times ... & Film Noir... other films too. One of my new old favorites now is a film called 'Talk of the Town' with Ronald Colman, Jean Arthur, and Cary Grant. Long ago an old GF used to say I looked and acted often like Ronald Colman...I did a fair to good voice impression anyway. ;D. Jean Arthur in that movie is wonderful, well acted and she is quite a comedian. I would almost wish to somehow jump into that movie, and make play for Jean... The New England B&B with a water hand pump in the kitchen in the film's kitchen scenes.... well water.... fasinating. This films idea of serious breakfasts a commentary too...large platters of three fried eggs, bacon, sausage, wedges of toast all together. The older i get, appricating breakfasts more. Usually only make breakfasts on the weekends...not hurried then. Like especially Jean Arthur's impression in the morning mirror in her floppy borrowed PJ's of Katherine Hepburn. A lot in the film too about 'the law'. Law students if they are into old films too will enjoy it. Rent it & see before I spill the story. Jean Arthur's one of many funny scenes, this one in Ronald Colman's borrowed PJ's in 'Talk of the Town' (1942). Gosh, type the search engine...is there anything you cannot find on the internet? Poof!! these images. A serious ufo photo perhaps for once? . Where were we? Oh ya...Pickles! I'm not a bad BBQ'er too. Pickles and Peanut Butter? But peanut butter and chocolate together....one of the great combinations in culinary history....personally the gray dull aliens don't know what they are missing. Perhaps that is why the visit? Why am i spilling like this? ;D Steve

Hmmm...I might possibly be able to eat tuna with sweet pickles in it without dying. The dills would kill me instantly.
