I have never heard of Apollo 18, or any rumors of it. Is this another "4th Kind" type movie?

It's another fourth kind movie....representing (again) "found footage", as in the Blair Witch Project, Cloverfield. Seen the clips so many times...I already hate it. I hope the film makers loose their shirts.

Eh..depends on your level of conspiracy theory intrigue. According to history apollo missions 18, 19 and 20 were budget cuts..according to others..it was an alien conspiracy. Now we might have reason to fear for Bob Weinstein’s sanity. According to his quick quote to EW, he really, really, really wants audiences to think this movie is actual found footage from a real-life secret moon mission that ended tragically. The money quote: “People intrinsically know there are secrets being held from us. Look at WikiLeaks: There are secrets that are really true to the world. It’s not bogus. We didn’t shoot anything,” Weinstein claims. “We found it. Found baby!”
The question here is whether this sort of tactic will backfire and hurt the film. |
Naturally..because there is a movie to promo...rumors will be instigated by the promoters and there will be lots of good ole Hollywood hype until you want to scream from it www.movieweb.com/news/apollo-18-is-real-says-bob-weinstein
