Oooooohh!! There's an old house back in the woods where the ghost came from! It's all old and falling apart and made out of old wood and stuff. It must be a haunted house! Maybe that is why the ghost was coming from it. I'm gonna go back and check it out.

Why is this forum acting all screwy? It posted my post twice. Did the ghost get into it? I don't care. I'm gonna go check out the haunted house.

I found some old stuff in the haunted house! there is some old furniture and one of those old timey saws that have a handle on each end and two people pull it back and forth. There was some old books too. They were all ripped up and ruined but it was still kind of cool to find them. Old houses usually don't have anything in them cuz people steal it all. I didn't see the ghost again tho. I'm gonna go back out and look some more.

That is wonderful Casper!! I know how long you have been waiting for this. How old did this man look? Did he have a beard. A hundred year ago all mature men had beards. Where was this outside your own home? I mean do you live next to a haunted house? I would of ran for sure. I have never seen a ghost but my siblings have in the home I grew up in. But most all of them do not recall see UFOs ether. Maybe if you stick around if your not at home here you will see him again. Good luck.

Just be careful, Ok? Watch out for creaky boards that break. including over the top of old wells. Let someone know where you are and how long you expect to be there . (the ghost you saw probably doesn't want any other ghosts joining him!)

I'm still alive! I almost got ate up by a dog tho. I was sneaking around in the dark and I sneaked too close to somebodies house and a dog started chasing after me! Luckily he didn't run very far so I got away. Whew! That was close! I'm not at home right now. I was driving my truck through Arkansas and I stopped at a truck stop for the night and went out sneaking around in the dark like I always do. I always go out looking for ghosts. I can't believe I finally saw one. This is one of the coolest nights of my life! I'm gonna go sneaking around in the dark some more.

The ghost didn't have a beard, Lois. He looked kind of old but not too old. Maybe about 50 I guess? I dunno. He was wearing one of those old timey hats like Abe Lincoln wore but not as tall. It was short and roundlike that tho. I don't see people wearing those kinds of hats today. They would look silly if they did.

I guess this is why they are dead. Yes you better be careful. How did you know this house was empty, with no people? I would not have the guts to go inside a home I did not know.

Don't kill yourself, dude. Some of those crazy hillbillies shoot first and ask questions later. Of course, knowing how excitable you are you'll probably have a heart attack or something.

Ha! I'm too young to die of a heart attack. You're right about the vrazy hillbillies tho. I wouldn't have went over there if I knew that house with the dog was there. The old haunted house is just in the woods close to the truck stop. There is no way anybody is living in that old place. The roof is all caving in and there are weeds and bushes everywhere. The only people who would live there are ghosts. I hope he comes back again.

Darn it all! Now it's starting to rain. Do ghosts ever come out in the rain? I'm going to go look some more anyway.

Yup, good for you, dude. Perseverance has paid off. This is a good lesson for all those people who get tired and frustrated because they never see anything. They can stare at the sky for weeks and months and years and never see a single UFO then right when they are about to give up an alien might come walking out of the bushes. Too bad you weren't able to take pictures of it. That would have been a cool thing to see. I'm not sure if ghosts appear when it's raining or not but I don't see why they wouldn't. I have heard of ghosts that appeared during snowstorms and blizzards and let's not forget that many spooky stories start out on a "dark and stormy night." They must like those types of conditions.

I forgot it was a dark and stormy night. It was too. That's the perfect time for ghosts to come out cuz it's spooky! I couldn't sleep last night so I went out and looked for the ghost some more. I was awake almost all night but I didn';t see anything else. This morning when the sun came up I went back and looked at the haunted house some more. It's not very big. It only had three rooms and a outhouse. There wasn't any running water so it must have been pretty old. There was an old car next to it too. It said it was a buick but it had a weird engine in it. There were eight cylinders but they were all in a row instead of a v8 like they make today. I've never seen a engine like that. I couldn't even guess how old it was. Older than me that's for sure. I'm at a different truckstop tonight but I'm still gonna go out and sneak around in the dark some more. You never know what you might find. Wish me luck!

That engine is called a Buick straight-eight. They made them like that way back in the 1930s and 40s I believe. I saw one in a 42 Buick sedan once which also just happened to be abandoned next to an old house.

Did your brothers and sisters see ghosts too? That's really cool! They should all come on here some time so we can talk about them and exchange ghost stories. I haven't seen any more ghosts since the last one but I'm still looking.

Congrds. You have joined an elite fraternity. Frankly, I grew up with them and still have them show up in the old family home I inhabit. They have apparently gotten use to me and me to them over the past 60 years.

Everyone that lives in the apt behind us over the years have said this house is haunted by a little girl Ghost. I did not believe any of it as I have never laid eyes on one. Except when I think back I have seen twice a golden orb bright as a gold wedding band float across the room in front of me. Once in my living room and once in the bedroom. I posted them at the time I witnessed them. Casper I will keep my eyes peeled for anything unusual around here.

You should always keep a lookout for a ghost cuz you never know when one might show up. I have seen ghosts in the past a long time ago but not nearly as often as I would like to.

Do you see a lot of different ones or the same ones over and over again?

Ghosts can be as unwelcomed as in-laws that happen to stop by, usually unannounced, and hard to get rid of. At least the in-laws will eventually leave. Ghosts, on the other hand, might just decide that they like where they are and can be PITA until they decide to move on, that is if they do.

Maybe the extra energy from the storm makes it easier for ghosts to cross over from wherever it is they come from. Lightning might crack open a dimensional rift or something. I've heard a lot about UFOs appearing during storms too. Shami has been talking about that recently also. She says that a lot of her UFO sightings occur during storms.
