I am leaving the searching for UFOs and paranormal stuff as I plan on trying to live a more Christian life. This is not to disparage the Christians who do study this, as that is their decision.
I plan on trying to renew my faith and become the best Christian I can be, as after reading the book Am I Really a Christian I have discovered I could be doing a lot better.
One of the things I should probably give up is interest in the paranormal. I have yet to find anything fulfilling when pursuing this subject.
I plan to post in the chat forums here as I would miss my dear friends here.

Miss Daisy: There is a book my friend has (she is Christian and attends a church here in our town) and the writer of the book is also a Christian. His book is called the School of the Seers and he himself is a seer. His book teaches people how to use the God given gift of spiritual eyes. How to use these gifts to become a better more complete Christian. His name is Jonathan Welton. While I don't share her church interests I am very much a Christian and I've been blessed by God. He has shared glimpses into the direction He wants for me to travel and while I know that the path is not the same for everyone...if it were wrong..my life would not be as wonderfully blessed by Him as it is. I was given a 'message' to return with when I died during heart surgery..and the message was to share with EVERYONE how very very much more there is to come. Since then, I've had angels leave me 'messages' and some experiences that just plain delighted me. I hope you find those too Miss Daisy. I do not think aliens have a single solitary thing to do with the divine other than that they are on their own journey as we are. I think you need to listen to your instincts..to your own heart and if it is saying that you need to eliminate things in your life to focus then..I'm sure that's right for you. Please though..don't base your life decision entirely on a book. I find after reading about 30 spiritual books in the last year..that they too are opinion of the writer who has been given God's gift of individuality. Sometimes that writer rings very true and sometimes not so much..or maybe the call is different for everyone. I pray you find your direction Jo

We will keep in touch Mary (Miss Daisy). Something within you has been quietly perplexing you enough to question about some past experiences for perhaps a long time. I think by leaving this admittedly goofy field of interest, you maybe trying to put some of these same questions behind you. Very respectfully, I have this feeling you maybe back one day, and still be fulfilled in your Christan spiritual journey too. Been there, done that. Should that happen when you do, you can know we can always discuss those questions perhaps when you are ready to. I know the Holly Spirit is guiding you and your family. Very Best, Steve

Having lived in the South let me edit the above quote slightly for appropriate grammar:
"Well Miss Daisy, how am I supposed to drive under the speed limit when that big round thing done come down and land in front of us...
Miss M. Daisy - go walk your path. We are here whenever you feel the need to drop by. It's been a pleasure dialogueing with you...

Bit edgy are we folks? When the sun is being naughty..nerves become a tad frayed...believe it or not. A computer isn't a particularly good medium for seeing a smile or some other tell to know if someone is joking. I have a snide often sarcastic sense of humor that anyone who sees me..understands as humor. Doesn't come across so easily on the computer so I stick in a bunch of very stupid smiley faces to disarm any barb hanging in the air. I'm just happy you're not leaving entirely Miss Daisy.

OK Good Steve... I'm glad you're not grumpy... I was afraid you may have been so I held off on MY smart-aleck comment.
Now however, I can tell you how to properly spell "Dialogue". ~evil smirk~

i think shes gone by now.. bye Mdaisy..
One thing i have never understood..... what does a book teach you that - all time you spend (atleast a few decades) seeing, listening and feeling things both material and otherwise...can't or don't.......

hmmm....good. Always good to have one more person on this forum Anyways my philosophy about God is quite different. I personally feel our whole perception of the concept of God is not quite it.... Regards, Srinivas
