www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2012406/UFO-cause-power-failure-Wyoming-nuclear-missile-base-say-technicians.html?ITO=1490Did UFO cause power failure at nuclear missile base? Missile technicians claim sightings coincided with October outage * 50 nuclear weapons lost touch with control centre * Blackout lasted almost an hour says Air Force * President Obama told of power supply interruption By Daily Mail Reporter Last updated at 3:49 PM on 8th July 2011 When Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming lost control of 50 nuclear, inter-continental missiles last October, officials said a communication failure between the control centre and the weapons was to blame. However, three missile technicians stationed at the base have raised fresh questions in the case, amid reports UFO sightings coincided with the incident. UFO researcher Robert Hastings says eyewitnesses claim the interruption to the power supply also lasted much longer than the Air Force admits. Cover-up claims: Missile technicians stationed at Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming have reported UFO sightings coinciding with October's power outage A power failure on October 23, 2010 meant that one-ninth of America’s nuclear arsenal went offline for almost an hour. A U.S. Air Force spokesman said there had been a 'hardware issue' relating to an underground cable linking the command centre with the missiles. This disrupted ‘communication between the control centre and the missiles, but during that time they were still able to monitor the security of the affected missiles’. Defence officials insisted there was never any danger of an accidental launch. But the incident was deemed serious enough for Barack Obama to be briefed on it later. There was no evidence of foul play and the U.S. never lost the capability to launch the missiles, although it could only have done so from an airborne command and control centre, he said. Another official said there had been similar breakdowns on other bases in the past. But Robert Hastings says more was involved. According to Hastings, three missile maintenance technicians have agreed to speak to him on the condition of anonymity, revealing the military has kept UFO sightings that occurred during the power outage under wraps. The witnesses, he said, reported sightings of 'a large cigar-shaped object high above the missile field'. Wow! Cigar shaped craft again. I thought those were 50's phenomena. Maybe saucers are like, ah, convertibles. Sporty zip around units.

www.examiner.com/ufo-in-national/robert-hastings-new-reports-show-ufos-continue-to-compromise-nuclear-missiles#ixzz1TEn3lb10 Robert Hastings: New reports show UFOs continue to compromise nuclear missilesRoger Marsh UFO Examiner June 22, 2011 - Robert Hastings is a man with a mission. In the study of UFOs, I have discovered a full-time job simply covering the latest UFO reports as they come into the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. I occasionally look over Peter Davenport's shoulder and into the National UFO Reporting Center's database of incoming cases too. But Hastings has concentrated on UFO reports that may have affected our nation's nuclear weapons - where reports indicate that UFOs were hovering overhead of the bases at the same time systems were being shut down. And these are not isolated cases from one particular year. Hastings has tracked these cases back to the 1940s and continuing to present day. I hope most of you reading this recall that Hastings was the man behind the September 27, 2010, UFO-Nukes press conference in Washington D.C. The conference, in part, "described UFO activity at F.E. Warren’s Air Force Base missile sites—as well as those located near Malmstrom AFB, Montana and Walker AFB, New Mexico—in the 1960s and ‘70s." But this week's news from Hastings reports that the trouble with UFOs tampering with our missle bases is continuing. From his press release: "On October 23, 2010, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, temporarily lost the ability to communicate with 50 of its Minuteman III nuclear missiles. The five Missile Alert Facilities responsible for launching those ICBMs in time of war—Alpha through Echo, comprising the 319th Strategic Missile Squadron—would have been unable to do so during the period of the disruption." www.theufochronicles.com/2011/08/my-ufo-experience-nuke-missile.htmlTuesday, August 02, 2011 MY UFO EXPERIENCE | Nuke Missile Commander Recounts UFO Activity Above The Launch Control Facility (LCF) 1976 [/color] Submitted By Ken Pfeifer www.worldufophotos.orgUFO sighting at a missile launch control facility and associated missile sites near Cheyenne, Wyoming, in the fall of 1976. My first name is Bruce. I spent 20 years in the Air Force. The first nine years I served as an enlisted man and the last 11 as an officer. Initially I was very skeptical about all the “UFO nonsense.” In the fall of 1976 I was a Minuteman III Combat Crew commander on alert with my deputy “Sam” (a lieutenant who had prior enlisted service with TAC units). In order to stay awake that night we monitored radio communication between the topside NCOIC (“Sgt Jones”) and the cops - actually Security Alert Team or SAT. They were on patrol near one of our 10 missile sites which was south about 9 or 10 miles from the Launch Control Facility or LCF. Sometime around 2 A.M. we heard Sgt Jones ask the two cops to stop the vehicle, look around and report anything that the saw that looked unusual. He gave no hints about where to look or what to look for. The response at first was that they didn't see anything. Then a few seconds later, they reported in an excited voice that they saw a pulsating white thing in the sky. They could see flashing red and blue lights between the pulsations. Jones asked where they saw it. The cops responded that it was to the north about 10 miles and that it looked very close to the main capsule. Now fully awake, Sam and I looked at each other and wondered what was going on. I called Jones on the hot line between us and asked him about the conversation he just had with the SAT. He said that right now above the LCF (100 feet or so) was a white pulsating light with red and blue lights visible between the pulsations. He also said it was shaped like a “fat cigar” and appeared to be about 50 to 60 feet long. He was looking at it while we talked on the phone. Jones reported that it moved away. Sgt Jones called back in a few minutes and said that it appeared to stop a few miles away - very close to one of the Launch Facilities (LF) or missile sites. We ordered the cops to that missile site but they had to return to the capsule for batteries for their flashlights and other equipment. When they finally headed towards the silo, the pulsating light moved away before they got there. Over the next couple of hours the pulsating light made stops very close to several more missile sites. Each time we tried to send the cops to the site in question. Each time the cops said they had car problems and/or other equipment problems and never actually made it to any of the sites. According to Jones, some time around 4:30 AM it “whooshed away” and turned into a white dot within a few seconds. The white dot stayed in the sky for a few more seconds and then totally disappeared. UFO expert speaks about nuclear sitesWednesday, November, 16, 2011 by Cody Owens, news reporter Robert Hastings is a UFO researcher and lecturer who wrote the book “UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites.” What sets Hastings aside from other alien enthusiasts is his focus on nuclear weapons cases. In September 2010, he hosted a press conference on the subject, which was live streamed on CNN. Hastings shared his views with the Virginia Tech community last night in the Owens Banquet Hall. The Collegiate Times met with him before his lecture to ask him about his theories, as well as the connections he sees between UFOs and nuclear weapons. Collegiate Times: How did you become interested in UFOs? Robert Hastings: My father was career Air Force, and in 1967, he was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force base in Montana, which was a nuclear missile base. He was aware of UFO activity at some of the (intercontinental ballistic missile) sites and objects being tracked on radar. It was clear that the UFOs were maneuvering near and even hovering above some of the underground nuclear missile silos. I was aware in a very peripheral way of what had gone on at the time. Coincidentally, I had a job at the air traffic controller tower three nights a week as a janitor (as) a junior in high school. In March of ’67, I was present when the (Federal Aviation Administration) controllers who worked at the tower covered up the presence of five unidentified aerial objects being tracked. I brought that fact to my father’s attention. Unbeknownst to me, he made inquiries where he worked, which was called (Semi-Automatic Ground Environment). It was part of the Air Force’s radar system. They confirmed the presence of these unknown objects. CONTINUE READING: www.collegiatetimes.com/stories/18849/ufo-expert-speaks-about-nuclear-sites

That reminds me of the guy who came into the liquor store several months ago. He told me he was an air traffic controller. My first question to him was, for lack of a better word, excitedly stated: "Have you ever seen any UFOs?" with an idiotic grin. He kind of laughed nervously, looked down at his hands on the counter and said, "No..." although I couldn't see his feet I imagined he was digging his toe into the floor, "...but..." another nervous chuckle, still avoiding eye contact, "...a couple of the guys saw something strange last week..." then he looked up at me all embarrassed. "Wow..." I said but I didn't have time to ask him any more questions because we were busy and lots of people were in line behind him.

www.examiner.com/ufo-in-national/new-ufo-sightings-f-e-warren-air-force-base-testimony-continuesNew UFO sightings: F.E. Warren Air Force Base testimony continuesRoger Marsh National ufo Examiner January 4, 2012 Two new UFO sightings from the F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Cheyenne, WY, were reported during the second half of 2011, according to a January 4, 2012, statement by UFO-Nukes investigator Robert Hastings. The first report was filed anonymously online as "UFOs Spotted Near Air Force Base Missile Silos: Five glowing orbs witnessed over F.E. Warren Air Force Base." "I observed five round brightly colored objects moving SW to me quietly at great speed," the witness stated. "On August 5, 2011, at about 18:10 to 18:15 MDT, I was facing east (nearly 90 degrees true). I just happened to be looking for the Moon which I observed south (nearly 180 true), when I observed two objects approximately 3 degrees east of the Moon and the same south." While Hastings has not interviewed the witness, he speculates that the observation continues with enough detail that the witness appears to have aeronautical navigation training. In a second report filed with the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), another UFO sighting is reported at a nearby, ICBM-related location for November 5, 2011. www.examiner.com/ufo-in-national/ufo-interest-at-u-s-and-soviet-nuclear-weapons-storage-sites-similar February 25, 2012 UFO interest at U.S.-Soviet nuclear weapons storage sites similarRoger Marsh National ufo Examiner A disc-shaped object hovered low over both U.S. and Soviet nuclear weapons storage sites and shined a beam of light to the ground level for unknown reasons, according to information released recently by UFO-Nukes author and researcher Robert Hastings. Hastings has written recently about other UFO-related comparisons between the nuclear programs of both countries. The current comparison of cases is between the UFO incident at a U.S. base in England, RAF Bentwaters in December 1980 and the UFO incident at Kapustin Yar’s nuclear warhead depot in the Soviet Union in July 1989. In the Bentwaters case, the former Deputy Base Commander, retired USAF Col. Charles Halt, told reporters that he personally witnessed the UFO incident and watched the beams of light. During a May 1997 interview, Halt stated: "It was round—did not change shape—and at one point it appeared to come toward us at a very high speed. It stopped overhead and sent down a small pencil-like beam, sort of like a laser beam...It illuminated the ground about ten feet from us and we just stood there in awe wondering whether it was a signal, a warning, or what it was. We really didn’t know. It clicked-off as though someone threw a switch, and the object receded, back up into the sky. Then it moved back toward Bentwaters, and continued to send down beams of light, at one point near the weapons storage facility."
