The Boston Bombing will be interesting to see how it plays out. It was a cowardly act of terrorism. The question now is who really did it and why. Some Democrats are saying that most such terrorism is caused by the right wing. Rather a broad and loosely reasoned statement of political vindictive. Who ever did this should be publicly hanged. It maybe the start of the civil unrest that DHS has been arming for. We live in interesting times Kind of like the burning of the Reichstag in Germany under uncle Adi the bombing can be used for political purpose

Of course it was the right wringers who did this... it couldn't possibly have been some crazy guy who wasn't politically motivated or a radical Muslim...

I believe it was Marianus Vander Lube a dutch communist who burned the Reichstag. That being the German govt building of the time. Uncle Adi used that to pass laws giving him more power and Germany slipped into tyranny. It will be interesting to see what happens here as DHS is a hammer waiting to pound nails and only waits the command to go

The price of gold is falling and the investment houses are getting out of gold as an investment. How ever on Wed 17th investors in physical gold bought two tons of it from the US govt. Individual investors are buying all the physical gold they can get. Obama has vowed to continue to fight for gun control regardless of the Congress. As a young man in college he stated that American citizens should not be allowed to own any guns what so ever. hes working on that

For this month by the 17th the US govt has sold 147,000 ounces of gold to the public Gold and silver around the world are selling like ammo in the US. some bullion dealers are back logged six weeks on delivery. What happens when the available supply of gold and silver is exhausted? The US is selling gold but is stalling on paying back the gold of Germany that it probably sold years ago.

Ammo and precious metals are big sellers currently. That would suggest that people are really insecure not just in the US but also the world. How much gold does the US plan to sell? The idea of fort knox being an empty tomb of gold back money is rather unnerving I have read much of the German hyper inflation period and it was not fun. A hundred million dollars to mail a letter would be hard considering Social Security payments. Financial chaos destroys t he middle class which is the social glue holding things together. Switzerland has a solid middle class which preserves the country. Where the middle class exists communism does not flourish. But where the people are largely unlanded and the country is owned by a few wealthy families then revolution grows among the people. In Germany the Brown Shirts grew along side Reichsbanner and the Red Guards which had a name that I dont recall right now. All fought in the street and armed gangs like the Free Corps engaged in open war with the left. Adolf won and things went down hill from there. The middle class wanted peace and order and he offered it. Once there is no gold to back any part of the dollar it is after all only paper and no more. There is more paper in the phone book We as a country have been storing arms in Saudi Arabia and golly whiz it seems 20,000 M 16s and a large amount of ammo are missing. We have armed someone

Reading about the new data storage facility in Utah it will have the capacity to store 400 times the entire knowledge of the human race. Put in simple terms it could store enough phone calls that it would take you a trillion years to listen to them 24/7 That may be an under estimate. A new half million sq ft facility is being built in San Antonio to supplement this. I feel secured how about you. They are reissuing an old film Waco a new revelation on the Waco tragedy. Having by accident seen the original film while it is interesting and proves much it is not for the weak stomached. people died and the bodies are there

It is interesting how fast the Boston bombers were nailed. At such events everyone has a camera and everyone is as a result photographed. Still the capture was rather fast and suggests the govt already had them down on a watch list of possible terrorists for the Marathon. some people have suggested that Navy seals were there for some reason besides watching the marathon. It is interesting that special forces are heroes until they get out of the service and suddenly become terrorists in the govt view.

Every time a major tragedy crops up..there are dozens of conspiracy theories because people just won't be satisfied with some simple answer. Pretty soon there will suddenly be footage of a UFO in the background of one picture..or someone will have a picture of a guy wearing clothing from the 1800's..and time travel will enter the picture. Never fails.

Way back when I was a teen my father worked for the Calif Dept of Corrections and he insisted that I read the top secret files he had on organized crime so that I would really know what was for real. the public is often given false data for the greater good. the police will know that Joe Smith was killed at random for a gang member to prove himself but they will tell the public it was a robbery gone bad to prevent open war developing. they want people to feel happy and secure. so they lie for the greater good. My father felt that people should know the truth but no one asked him. We live in a pink chiffon world as a woman from the middle east told me one time. We are only told what will make us happy and content An unlucky few will pay the price of not knowing reality but the majority are content.

Mayor doomberg has once again made it plain that he has no respect for the Constitution and for the American citizen. He has stated that we need to rethink the Constitution and the rights American citizens enjoy. He openly flounted this dissing of law and tradition saying that if this big brother so be it. Again he heavily attacked gun rights in the US. The man has plans for the country with him in charge. Rather handy the Canadians have arrested a terrorist ring just as the govt there is trying pass increased restrictions on Canadians in the name of fighting terrorism I was surprised to read that we have OKd Israel attacking Iran and bombing the nuclear plants and facilities there. We are selling Israel the equipment to do this deed. Store some gasoline folks. I have read some pretty horrible stats on American citizens. More US soldiers kill themselves than are killed in combat We lead the world in using prescription mind altering drugs and in general social collapse We are the most obese nation and Mexico is 2nd Anger, fear and anxiety are major factors in creating stress in our society and Stress is killing us off. It is becoming increasing common for employers to demand passwords for employee facebook accounts. Congress refused to pass a law outlawing this practice. employers are watching you In the middle of all this happiness the American citizens is let down by our leadership In the middle of financial disaster for the country our leaders are stressing gun control instead of jobs. still mired in Iran and Afghanistan we are warming up a major war with Iran

From 2006 to the present Cartels have increased by 2400% in the number of American cities they are doing business in. Chicago has to 200 police assigned to gangs numbering 100,000 members in that city alone. Meanwhile they are shutting 57 schools there to save money. last weekend a person was shoot there every two hours. so much for gun control. New Orleans if it were a nation would have the 2nd highest murder rate in the world. Detroit has 70,000 abandoned or empty building in the city one third of the total area of the city is abandoned. tourists from other countries are now visiting the city to see what the end of the world will be like. Other cites like Flint, ST Louis and Cleveland have extemely high murder rates It seems big brother is not watching in these areas but is rather ignoring them. Crime there is ignored and unreported by the media. It is a political decision to cover up the collapse of society in these areas. Reporting it would make people look bad in DC it is not PC to talk about it

There is a national shortage of ammo. physical gold and physical silver. The gold and silver shortage is world wide. many dealers have sold gold and silver with delivery in 8 weeks or longer. simply put they sold what they dont have and hope to get a some point during the 8 weeks. A risky business model. People that thought companies were holding gold in storage for them find that they cant get it. This includes Swiss banks who refuse to deliver the gold they have supposedly holding for people. The US has been "loaning" gold to bullion banks which sell the gold and the US makes a small profit. Since the gold is loaned it is carried as still being in the vault when in infact it is long since gone. Probably other banks and govts have done this also. It may well be that the gold storage facilities are empty. If you buy gold or silver get it in your hand. Mean while back at the ranch the debt is now 105% of our GDP So what is the dollar really worth? It is a good idea to read about the German hyper inflation and what happened in Germany when it cost 100,000,000 marks to mail a letter. I have an old stamp for that amount from the era so I know what it cost. Ammo is in short supply and any internet source for ammo is sold out in seconds if it gets a supply. some 22 ammo has sold for as much as 50 cents a bullet on the internet. A measure of the fear factor. interesting times that we live in and much more interesting times are coming when people realize a dollar is just paper and that is all it is.

Former FBI agent: All phone calls recorded, no digital communication secure
A former FBI counterterrorism agent says the government captures and stores all your phone calls and all other digital communications.By Ms. Smith on Sun, 05/05/13 Last week, the press focused on Katherine Russell, the widow of Boston bombing suspect Tamarlan Tsarnaev, as officials have been trying to determine what she knew about the bombing. After investigators found "al-Qaeda's Inspire magazine and other radical Islamist material on her computer," they focused on phone calls between Russell and her husband to determine if she participated in the plot. On the night the FBI released the surveillance picture of him, she talked to Tsarnaev on the phone. CNN Out Front host Erin Burnett questioned Tim Clemente, former FBI counterterrorism agent, about the government's surveillance capabilities. Burnett: Tim, is there any way, obviously, there is a voice mail they can try to get the phone companies to give that up at this point. It's not a voice mail. It's just a conversation. There's no way they actually can find out what happened, right, unless she tells them? Clemente: No, there is a way. We certainly have ways in national security investigations to find out exactly what was said in that conversation. It's not necessarily something that the FBI is going to want to present in court, but it may help lead the investigation and/or lead to questioning of her. We certainly can find that out. Burnett: So they can actually get that? People are saying, look, that is incredible. Clemente: No, welcome to America. All of that stuff is being captured as we speak whether we know it or like it or not.The next night, CNN's Carol Costello asked Clemente, "You said that if Katherine Russell does not divulge the contents of this phone call that the FBI had other methods of finding out what was said. What did you mean by that? Clemente: Well, on the national security side of the house, in the federal government, you know, we have assets. There are lots of assets at our disposal throughout the intelligence community and also not just domestically but overseas. Those assets allow us to gain information intelligence on things that we can't use ordinarily in a criminal investigation, but are used for major terrorism investigations or counter intelligence investigations. Costello: You're not talking about voicemail, right? What are you talking about exactly? Clemente: ”I'm talking about all digital communications are -- there's a way to look at digital communications in the past. I can't go into detail of how that's done or what's done. But I can tell you that no digital communication is secure. So these communications will be found out. The conversation will be known.”Last year, NSA expert James Bamford claimed NSA software secretly examines "every email, phone call and tweet as they zip by." A congressional hearing was later held to determine if such domestic spying on digital communications were true. NSA Chief General Keith Alexander answered "no" fourteen different times. Then remember when NSA whistleblower William Binney said the NSA has dossiers on nearly every US citizen? Last summer, Def Con founder Dark Tangent, aka Jeff Moss from the Homeland Security Advisory Council, asked Alexander, "So does the NSA really keep a file on everyone, and if so, how can I see mine?" Alexander replied, "No, we don't. Absolutely not. Anybody who tells you we're keeping files or dossiers on the American people knows that's not true." During Alexander's keynote at Def Con, he said "the NSA is authorized 'to collect foreign targets - think of terrorists - outside the United States'." The FISA Amendment Act "allows us to use some of our infrastructure to do that. We may, incidentally, in targeting a bad guy, hit on somebody from a good guy." Oh, and by the way, a new Justice Department report showed that in 2012, all wiretap warrant requests were granted by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC). In theory, Congress and We The People freaked out over potential mass surveillance in 2003 and the Information Awareness Office was defunded. In reality, the total information awareness program has clearly continued under different names. If there is a way for the FBI to look at "all digital communications" as Clemente alleges, then how could that ever be considered "going dark?" It's not like the FBI is waiting around for legislative approval. Last year we found out that the FBI had a new web surveillance unit to help create backdoors for eavesdropping on electronic communications. The expansion of CALEA, requiring backdoor capabilities to intercept all online communications, would more likely make all that warrantless wiretapping legal. Then again, it's already "technically legal," according to Binney at the Def Con panel "Bigger Monster, Weaker Chains: The NSA and the Constitution." Binney said it was "technically legal," so "long as no human listens to or reads any of the harvested communications without a warrant." Bamford agreed, before adding, "An intercept doesn't take place until it's actually listened to, until somebody puts on some earphones or actually reads some text on a screen." The panel concluded the NSA spy chief was "playing word games."Although we know our digital communications are being sucked up and stored, Clemente's comments about no digital communications being secure is another confirmation of the fact. As Glenn Greenwald pointed out: “Mass surveillance is the hallmark of a tyrannical political culture. But whatever one's views on that, the more that is known about what the US government and its surveillance agencies are doing, the better. This admission by this former FBI agent on CNN gives a very good sense for just how limitless these activities are.”www.networkworld.com/community/blog/former-fbi-agent-all-phone-calls-recorded-no-digital-communication-secure

What I don't understand..is why anyone would have thought any information is secure. The internet is wide open to anyone who can hack even at an amature level. Phones...or anything that is recorded anywhere is open to government scrutiny if they want to take the time to persue it. Cameras all over the streets and businesses...GPS..doesn't just tell US where to go...it's the giga byte age..why would anyone figure anything is secure? If you chance onto someone's radar...if they want to know you better..I'm guessing it would take a matter of a few hours to know what color your cereal bowl was in Kindergarten.

I guess people who have had their heads buried in the sand are finally pulling them out. I've known for decades that the Feds have been gathering info on people. The scope of it may be a lot larger now than it ever has been before but that is because of who the government now considers to be their enemies. It's not just Islamic terrorists that they are looking for. Now they are going after anybody who votes for the opposing political party. Voting and fundraising is now more of a terrorist attack than an actual terrorist attack.

I'm not sure that follows..voting does no earthly good. Somehow...enough votes 'happen' for the desired party to be elected. It's not up to you or I. Voting isn't a priviledge..it's a dodge..a way to make people believe they still have a say in government. I think it's as misleading as any of the so called freedoms. We have them until..our choices step on someone's toes. Personally I figured out awhile back that I may as well not worry about who is in office and just roll with the punches of whatever party is playing giddy up go. I haven't liked a single president since Kennedy and he just happened to be very charismatic. If you're raised with that kind of priviledge, you don't find it so hard to cross people you'd be better off not to cross. ..you figure you're untouchable..well unless you happen to be cruising through Dallas in a convertable. Gone are the days of the true freedom fighters..and gone they will stay until there comes one enemy big enough to cause a united front. There will then be a temporary unification of mankind..until the threat passes and we're not needed as cannon fodder. It's not a consipiracy theory..it's life.

It's just typical politics. Politicians gain as much power as they can until they are no longer allowed to get away with it and then a new group steps in and starts the whole rat race all over again. It's just business as usual.

Canada also just passed a law saying it is illegal to wear any type of mask at a public protest or illegal assembly. Anybody wearing a mask is subject to 10 years in prison. Hitler and Stalin are both green with envy.

Wise words from a President
"... The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions.
Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control..."... President John F. Kennedy
Kennedy spoke these words in his address before the American Newspaper Publishers Association, April 27, 1961.

Family allegedly forced from home by police files rare 3rd Amendment suitBy Joseph Weber Published July 08, 2013 A Nevada family is using a rare legal argument in a lawsuit claiming police tried to commandeer their homes for a surveillance operation and then arrested the homeowners for resisting -- invoking the Third Amendment, which bars soldiers from being "quartered" in a residence without permission. The Mitchell family, in a lawsuit filed July 1, detailed the incident from July 10, 2011. According to the complaint, it all began when the Henderson city police called Anthony Mitchell that morning to say they needed his house to gain “tactical advantage” in a domestic violence investigation in the neighborhood. The situation turned ugly when Mitchell refused repeated requests to leave and police smashed through the door, the 18-page complaint states. Mitchell alleges the police, upon entering his home, forced him to the floor at gunpoint, then shot him and his “cowering” dog with a few rounds of pepper-spray pellets. Police then allegedly handcuffed and arrested Mitchell in connection with “obstructing a police officer” before occupying his home. It didn’t end at Anthony Mitchell’s house in suburban Las Vegas, the complaint continues. That same day, the officers also took over the home of Mitchell’s parents, Linda and Michael Mitchell, who live in the same neighborhood and are named as plaintiffs. The police department declined Monday to comment on the case when reached by FoxNews.com, leaving the matter to the court should the case go to trial. However, the more compelling questions appear to focus on whether the Third Amendment strategy can work, considering the courts would have to consider the police officers as soldiers. The amendment states: "No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law." “I’m confident the Mitchells have a good case,” said Frank Cofer, a partner in the firm Cofer, Geller & Durham LLC representing the plaintiffs. Cofer told FoxNews.com that what struck him about the case was the officers’ use of military-style tactics. “And after entering the houses, they drank water, ate food, enjoyed the air conditioning,” he said. “That struck me as quartering.” The suit alleges that, at the parents' house, police lured Michael Mitchell from his home to a nearby “command center” by saying they needed him to get the neighbor involved in the domestic violence case to surrender. When officers began to backpedal, Mitchell eventually attempted to leave, which resulted in him being handcuffed and eventually charged with obstructing an officer. Police then returned to Mitchells' house where they allegedly yanked wife Linda from the premises after she refused to let them in without a warrant. She was not arrested, and police have dropped all charges against the family. However, the Mitchells are still suing for an undisclosed sum, saying their rights as citizens were violated under the Third Amendment -- as well as the Fourth and 14th amendments -- and that the incident resulted in physical injury, malicious destruction of property and “extreme emotional distress.” Read more: www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/07/08/family-booted-from-home-for-police-detail-suing-with-rare-use-third-amendment/#ixzz2YVTNefjx

The police can't just commandeer somebody's property for any reason. They broke so many laws and violated so many constitutional rights it's unbelievable. The lawyers are gonna have a field day with this one.

How many more people have told the police "No". ??
How many people have fear about not cooperating with the police?
This is really creepy to me . . . . and it's probably been the way of such things for a long time.

I believe they first used store surveillance cameras and people's cameras and cell phones to find images of the Boston bombers. There were a lot of people taking pictures at that event and the police asked for any witnesses who had photos or video of the scene. Also there was an eye-witness who was able to give a description of one of the bombers so they knew what to look for.
