How did it go last night Lorelei? All ok with you and the family? I know that much of my memory of that afternoon and of when I was a child..is missing and to be honest..I'm not sure I want to know the rest because of what I do remember. I never found a 'nice' thing about them. They were indifferently cruel and I was insignificant to them. I honestly believe that if anyone finds a nice thing to say about Grey's it's because they were 'compelled' to believe it. That being said..it doesn't mean your 'visitors' (if such be the case) are even Grey's. There are lots of reports of a variety of visitors here. Maybe they're just curious about that big beautiful amazon living in the vast North They just don't know yet what a handful they might find by knocking on your door

Lorelei, wake up! Jo and I (and many more ) want to know how you are doing?! You usually post something around 1:00 a.m. (my time). It is now 1:50 p.m. in Missouri and I'm thinking I need to head up there and be your own personal deterrent! Lol. (of course I can sleep in daylight : ;D

She may be running parent errands this morning and afternoon..dialysis for dad or some appointment for her mom. If her life is a thing like mine..only a small part of the day can be devoted to the unusual I was busy making husband doctor appoints today because he's bleeding internally somewhere and they want cat scans. Two weeks away. By then...his low hemoglobin could be really a lot more than low. Shaking my head. Too many wounded coming back from Afghanistan..the VA is so overloaded it's horrible. She needs to inform the grass mashers that she doesn't have time to mess with them just now

Snoozin away... it is currently 12:29 am and I have just now drug myself out of bed and I have made myself a cup of instant coffee. I am also trying to overcome the urge to have that first cigarette of the day... because I need to quit... but... I don't think I'm gonna win... I never do... ...ahh well... ~lights up a cigarette~

How did it go last night Lorelei? All ok with you and the family? Yea everything went OK. I took my pill and went to bed early... played computer games until I got tired... BTW, don't get started playing Bubble Safari on facebook. It's horribly addictive... I know that much of my memory of that afternoon and of when I was a child..is missing and to be honest..I'm not sure I want to know the rest because of what I do remember. I know that I woke up the next morning after that night in a very very bad mood and dad was also in a very very bad mood. We were grumbling at eachother and mom was trying to keep the peace... then I took mom to see her heart doctor. He seemed a lot nicer when I saw him... the first time I saw him he looked grumpy and exhausted when she was in the ICU and wouldn't even look at me... half-heartedly shook my hand... but that day he was happy and smiling and borderline flirting with me so... ~shrug~ While we were waiting for him though I was anxious and nervous about that stoopid grass... I was worrying about it until I got back home to film it... After her appointment, (everyone was friendly there, the technician who did her EKG and the receptionist and the nurse and everyone was really pleasant and kind...) and I was instantly in a better mood... and we listened to the radio together and she sang along with a song made in the 70s by Paul Simon said she hadn't heard it in years and I liked it- I had never heard it before. I never found a 'nice' thing about them. They were indifferently cruel and I was insignificant to them. I honestly believe that if anyone finds a nice thing to say about Grey's it's because they were 'compelled' to believe it. Maybe they're just curious about that big beautiful amazon living in the vast North They just don't know yet what a handful they might find by knocking on your door I know I was visited by the grays at least once. It may have been the Nordics too because I have had dreams about tall blonde headed men so I dunno... I'm willing to bet it was the grays though... those are the ones who scare me the most...

After I wake up some more and finish doing the laundry that dad started (he shouldn't be going down the stairs to the basement... he knows I'd lecture him and nag at him that's why he did it while I was asleep... ) I'm going to investigate the backyard with my trusty dusty cell phone... This time I'm going to remember mosquito repellent. I'm covered in little itchy red bumps and one very big one on my right forearm from the last two adventures I took out in the woods. All the rain we've been having has been awesome for those darn skeeters... laying eggs in every spot of moisture out there in those woods... ~sigh~ I wish the dragon flies would come out and eat them all... but I haven't seen them around yet...

OK. Here it is. So... we have flattened patches in front of the house... next to the driver's side door of my car... in front of the door to the basement... next to the driver's side door on dad's truck parked up on the road... (dad told me about it yesterday and I went to check it out... a small area just next to the driver's side door of the truck...) and nowhere else... Very very weird...

I'm just glad you're doing OK ;D. Nothin' wrong with sleepin' in! (IF you did the board thing, I would expect some sore muscles that you don't use on a regular basis? Too much work ;D)

I was thinking about this yesterday and came up with the idea that it might have been a small tornado or something but now I see y'all already came up with that. It's possible I suppose. The house is completely surrounded by trees but there is an open area around it so if a strong wind were blowing overhead there could have been like a low pressure area around the house that could have created a downdraft and caused a little funnel cloud. Doesn't quite look right though. I think so far I have rules out animals, wind and people stomping around on boards. That doesn't leave much... I must do research and figure this out! Research!!

Tricky to research with limited possibilities oh wise one. I could understand it more if it were just a big open patch but the trees and stuff doesn't make it seem to feasible to be a craft. I'm still with some kind of weird wind displacement or..maybe crop circles are formed by wind displacement guided by some intelligence and this is like that..I dunno..

I saw a craft hovering up above the trees once when I was riding the school bus... maybe the craft sat on top of the trees and sent down a small probe... They also have the technology which allows them to pass through solid objects... and people have seen UFOs disappear and then reappear in a different location... It seems to be intelligent design: only four areas are affected: 1) In front of the house 2) Behind the house around the back door 3) The driver's side of my car 4) The driver's side of Dad's truck up on the road Why would a freak wind anomaly only affect these areas? Wouldn't it be one heck of a coincidence? There are other weeds and grass leaning over but there are no large flat areas where the plants are lying completely flat on top of one another... just in these four specific locations. ~shaking head~ The odds of a freak wind anomaly affecting four specific locations (near man-made objects) and NOWHERE else are astronomical. No. This is a message. Definitely. The question is... what does it mean?

Maybe a validation that they exist. I wasn't suggesting it was some random wind..that doesn't seem to fit but a directed air displacement. I think rather than become 'invisible' or move through solid objects..they open doorways into corridors that allow them to appear like they do. They're accessing spacial anomalies we don't know exist. I never saw them do any of those clever things..I only saw them leaning over my friend and I..what else I might have observed is locked away and likely to stay there after this time. Something wants you to be kept intrigued..interested maybe

I wonder what keeps those unidentified flying thingamajiggers up in the air? Is there some force pushing down on the ground like wind, rocket propulsion or a reverse magnetic effect or do they just counteract gravity somehow? Still doing research on the grass...

The grass is now back to normal except for the big patch in front of the house. Most of it is back to the way it was before it fell over like it didn't even happen...
So apparently whatever it was didn't kill the plants...

I did some looking online. It said the forecast was updated to isolated thunder storms for my area... it wasn't storming when I went to bed that night... but it might have hit after I fell asleep... ~shrug~
The power hadn't gone out. The microwave wasn't flashing or anything the next morning so...

I'm going to go with "intelligent design". Even if it wasn't some obvious fancy message.

I'm going to go with "intelligent design". Even if it wasn't some obvious fancy message. Thanks JC. I keep going back and forth on it... today I want to say it was the wind. Dad has decided it was wind and rain because he saw the flattened grass by his truck... I just went outside and took updated pictures. It's raising itself back up to where it was before it was flattened... Next to my car's parking space: Small flat patch in front of the house: Front Door: Side view of front of house: Large flattened area in front of house: Closeup of large flattened area in front of house: Another closeup of large flattened area in front of house: ...why is it that my phone takes such awesome still pictures but such awful videos?

Things like hover craft and the like..flatten plant life as they go along..so maybe some alien craft operate in similar fashion

Hmm...possibly. Maybe the fact that it was wet and so tall caused it to stay mashed after it was flattened. If it was short dry grass it might not have had any effect on it. I must do more research!!

You definitely have some luxurious grass going around the house! Have you considered a sheep?

You definitely have some luxurious grass going around the house! Have you considered a sheep? Naaaaaaaaa (bleating like a sheep... one of many odd talents I possess...) They don't do well in the arctic... and they smell bad... and... I don't like the feel of wool either... More for the moosies... ...if they even eat grass... I've only seen them eat tree leaves though... ~shrug~

I like goats for foraging but..they get cold easily and they pretty much smell too. Takes a special cat to live in the arctic

Yes..I've seen them on National Geographic tours..horn banging rams..I can't get past thinking headache LOL ~nods~ "Butt-head" comes to mind... ;D It's been raining all day and the grass is flattening itself again... so much for re-cooperating from whatever flattened it the first time around... I went outside and looked at it and realized that the grass in front of the house has less tree coverage over it than other areas... so I got to thinking maybe that's the reason why it was flat... maybe heavy rain flattened it and it would also make sense because the foliage underneath the overhang of the roof wasn't flattened... right? It would also explain why there aren't any other flat patches... right? Because the branches of the trees above them would have provided some shelter... But... that doesn't explain what happened behind the basement door... because that area is underneath the back deck and it would have been sheltered from heavy rain... so... there goes THAT theory... Also... the field I showed in the first couple of videos... there aren't a whole lot of trees overhanging there either- we had to clear that land of trees so we could get reception from the satellites when we got the satellite dish installed when I was 12... and there are no flat patches out there in the field either... ~rubs chin~ Hmmmmmm...
