I feel the need to organize a mass "moon" show for the pictures. I wonder if the government is going to tell us that the last picture is just a contrail.

Yep, a 23 story contrail...filled with swamp gas. ;D

Well they actually did launch an enormous rocket. I'm not that far from Vandenberg and they've been testing rocket motors all week (very loudly). Why they chose to launch the rocket at night is strange, they usually do it in the day time, hard to sneak something that large by.

the only rocket launch I ever witnessed was a night launch from vandenberg when I was a child,,,ill never forget it !!! It was that, and the apollo mission that influenced me as a child to start studying space research.
