This is not something we would normally discuss here on The Edge of Reality but it is definitely unusual. It seems that a reporter doing a live broadcast from the Grammy awards became extremely tounge-tied. The most popular theory is that she may have had an on-the-air stroke. Any theories about what might have happened? news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thecutline/20110215/ts_yblog_thecutline/reporters-bizarre-on-air-episode-raises-questionsReporter’s bizarre on-air episode raises questions
By Joe Pompeo February 15, 2011 One of the most memorable performances from Sunday night's Grammy broadcast was also one of the most terrifying: Serene Branson, an Emmy-nominated CBS entertainment reporter began speaking gibberish during the network's post-Grammy newscast. However, after initial fears that Branson may have suffered a stroke on-air, she is reportedly doing OK.CLICK THE LINK TO READ MOREThere is a video of it too.

She says she's feeling fine. They don't even know what happened. It's possible she just may have had a nervous panic attack or something like that. Who knows?

I'm glad you mentioned that Sky...I just heard on the news tonight that some enterprising idiots are taking advantage of her misfortune. They send emails with a so called link to a 'video' of her broadcast but it is actually a link to hijack a person's computer data. Don't follow links that are emailed unless you absolutely know the person sending it is reliable.

Some idiots are also making jokes about what happened to her. I personally don't think that another person's misfortune is something to laugh about, but apparently some fools do, just like they use it as an opportunity to cause mischief. Some people need to get a life.

I agree skywalker. Some people DO need to get a life...
One of my regular customers has suffered a stroke and she has permanent speech and motor problems. I rang her up in the liquor store once for beer, and one of my other regular customers rolled her eyes as the woman left and said, "Wow, she was loaded!"
I told her, "She's had a stroke. She wasn't drunk."
A lot of people don't understand those sort of things and can be heartless and judgemental. Ahh... yet another word the spell checker doesn't like. This is the correct spelling however... ~sigh~
It's sad to be honest. Not the spell checker of this forum, but what I was talking about before I mentioned that...
