www.ufodigest.com/article/foreign-dna-evidence-ancient-aliensOctober 23, 2012 "Foreign DNA, Evidence of Ancient Aliens?By dub the beachcomber Joshua Akey, Ph. D., Associate Professor of Genome Sciences at the University of Washington, has announced a rather spectacular finding in an interview with Linda Moulton Howe, the Emmy winning investigative journalist. In this interview which can be heard at earthfiles.com, he states that he and his associates found common DNA in tribesmen separated by hundreds of miles of inpenetrable African jungle. Five individuals from the Pygmy from Cameroon, the Hadza and Sandawe from the area of Tanzania, all who speak with a click language, had their individual genome run through and analyzed sixty times each. And their conclusive results were that they found what they termed, "foreign DNA" in each of the tribesmen. Akey says that, "the group that we think contributed this foreign DNA to these African populations was much more closely related to anatomically modern humans than Homo erectus. I think it is more appropriate to think of this foreign group as about as different as Neanderthals were to Cro-magnon Home sapiens, sapiens." In this same interview he indicates this DNA was deposited inside this genome 1.8 to 2 millions years in the past. He does not, however, indicate where this "foreign DNA" came from, or to whom it can be attributed, other than to say it most closely resembles modern man. INTRIGUING TO SAY THE LEAST So how do we determine who or what deposited this modern DNA into those tribesmen a couple of million years ago? There is nothing in the fossil record, which is not surprising as that record is incomplete in many areas. Unless geographical conditions come together with environmental processes, fossils just don't happen. But having said that, let us put on our thinking caps. Even a hundred years ago when I was attending college, we were looking for the "missing link." Just what kind of leap did apes take to become men? While we have found fossils of primitive people who are millions of years old, such as Lucy, an Australopithicus who had the brain size of an ape, but walked upright as a human. There is another of this species dated to 4.4 million years ago. But these were not yet humans, in the strictest sense due to improper brain size. However, this species did prove bipedal motion preceded increase in brain size. And as astounding as these fossil finds were, they are still not the answer to that missing link. www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2012/12/humans-may-be-the-first-generation-of-advanced-life-in-the-milky-way-todays-most-popular-.htmlDecember 19, 2012 "Humans May be the First Generation of Advanced Life in the Milky Way" “Columbus forced everyone to rethink, redesign and rebuild their world view. That’s what we’re doing here," says Dimitar Sasselov, professor of astrophysics and director of Harvard University’s Origins of Life Initiative. "To put it in 15th-century terms, we’ve reached the Canary Islands. Getting to where we ultimately want to go is a slow process that involves astronomers, aeronautical engineers, biochemists, anthropologists and businessmen." “It’s feasible that we’ll meet other sentient life forms and conduct commerce with them,” Sasselov said. “We don’t now have the technology to physically travel outside our solar system for such an exchange to take place, but we are like Columbus centuries ago, learning fast how to get somewhere few think possible.” Sasselov believes that life is probably common in the universe. He said that he believes life is a natural “planetary phenomenon” that occurs easily on planets with the right conditions. “It takes a long time to do this,” Sasselov said at a 2011 Harvard conference. “It may be that we are the first generation in this galaxy.” Though it may be hard to think of it this way, at roughly 14 billion years old, the universe is quite young, he said. The heavy elements that make up planets like Earth were not available in the early universe; instead, they are formed by the stars. Enough of these materials were available to begin forming rocky planets like Earth just 7 billion or 8 billion years ago. When one considers that it took nearly 4 billion years for intelligent life to evolve on Earth, it would perhaps not be surprising if intelligence is still rare. If life did develop elsewhere, adds Andrew Knoll, the Fisher Professor of Natural History using the lessons of planet Earth to give an idea of what it might take to develop intelligence. "Of the three major groupings of life: bacteria, archaea, and eukaryotes," he said, "only the eukaryotes developed complex life. And even among the myriad kinds of eukaryotes, complex life arose in just a few places: animals, plants, fungi, and red and brown algae. Knoll said he believes that the rise of mobility, oxygen levels, and predation, together with its need for sophisticated sensory systems, coordinated activity, and a brain, provided the first steps toward intelligence." www.ufodigest.com/article/darwin-never-met-aliens Darwin Never Met Aliens[/size] By Paul Schroeder March 05, 2013 God is responsible for the spiritual entities within our bodies, and more likely, aliens are the most likely candidates for the geniuses behind the amazing nanotech DNA which designs our life form physical bodies; there is no argument required. There are many predominant planets whose entire intelligent life forms are spiritual entities who have no physical DNA required to house such a spirit being. Our physical world is an anomaly, by virtue of the sheer numbers of many such noncorporeal worlds, by comparison. Does human DNA reflect a computer code, an alien nanotech, and thus the not so hidden hidden fingerprint of a "Creator"? Scientists have found that our genetic code has all of these key elements. "The coding regions of DNA," expostulates Dr. Stephen Meyer, "have exactly the same relevant properties as a computer code or language" (quoted by Strobel, p. 237, The Case for a Creator, 2004) Whose mind or what entity could shrink and miniaturize such information and place our DNA's enormous number of 'letters' in their correct sequence as a genetic building block instruction manual? Could evolution in itself have progressively come up with a nanotech system like this? It is difficult to fathom, but the quantum of information in our human DNA is roughly comparably equal to 12 sets of The Encyclopedia Britannica-an amazing 384 volumes worth of detailed data that would fill 48 feet long of required library shelves . Yet in their precise size-only two millionths of a millimeter thick-a teaspoon of DNA, according to molecular biologist Michael Denton, has "all the information needed to build the proteins for all the species of organisms that have ever lived on the earth, and there would still be enough room left for all the information in every book ever written" (Evolution: A Theory in Crisis, 1996, p. "God is responsible for spiritual entities within, aliens are the geniuses behind nanotech DNA which is our physical bodies. Most planetary intelligent spiritual entities need no physical DNA to house a being. "p. 334). Intelligent Design of our Human DNAAs scientists began to unravel and decode the human DNA molecule, they found something amazingly unexpected-a computer programmer's exquisite 'language' composed of some 3 billion genetic letters. "One of the most extraordinary discoveries of the twentieth century," says Dr. Stephen Meyer, director of the Center for Science and Culture at the Discovery Institute in Seattle, Wash., "was that DNA actually stores information-the detailed instructions for assembling proteins-in the form of a four-character digital code" (quoted by Lee Strobel, The Case for a Creator, 2004, p. 224). As George Williams explains it: "The gene is a package of information, not an object. The pattern of base pairs in a DNA molecule specifies the gene. But the DNA molecule is the medium, it's not the message" (quoted by Johnson, p. 70). Design from an intelligent sourceTo any discerning mind, this type of nanotech high-level information has been deduced to originate only from a seemingly intelligent source. As Lee Strobel explains: "The data at the core of life is not disorganized, it's not simply orderly like salt crystals, but it's complex and specific information that can accomplish a bewildering task-the building of biological machines that far outstrip human technological capabilities" (p. 244). For example, the precise nature of this genetic language is such that the average error that is not caught turns out to be one error per 10 billion letters. If an error occurs in one of the most important parts of the code, in the genes, it causes diseases such as sickle-cell anemia. Yet even the best and most apt typist in the world couldn't come close to making only one mistake per 10 billion letters-far from it. Alien message embedded in our genetic code?PTI : Washington, Tue Apr 02 2013 The answer to whether alien life exists may be hiding inside our own body! According to a new theory, human genetic code is embedded with a "designer label" that may be an indelible stamp of a master extraterrestrial civilisation that preceded us by many millions or billions of years. Researchers Vladimir I shCherbak of al-Farabi Kazakh National University of Kazakhstan, and Maxim A Makukov of the Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute, hypothesise that an intelligent signal embedded in our genetic code would be a mathematical and semantic message that cannot be accounted for by Darwinian evolution. Calling it "biological SETI", shCherbak and Makukov argue that the scheme has much greater longevity and chance of detecting alien life than a transient extraterrestrial radio transmission, the 'Discovery News' reported. "Once fixed, the code might stay unchanged over cosmological timescales, in fact, it is the most durable construct known. Therefore it represents an exceptionally reliable storage for an intelligent signature. "Once the genome is appropriately rewritten the new code with a signature will stay frozen in the cell and its progeny, which might then be delivered through space and time," the researchers wrote in the journal Icarus. www.ancient-origins.net/opinion-guest-authors-human-origins/very-interesting-interview-william-bramley-not-mss?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+C2C-InTheNews+%28Feed+-+Coast+to+Coast+-+In+the+News%29 27 March, 2013 A very interesting Interview with William BramleyWilliam Bramley, author of one of the most popular books on ancient astronaut theory, Gods of Eden, has given an exclusive interview for the readers of Ancient-Origins. In this interview he provides some insight as to why extra-terrestrials would wish to be involved with humans and what their plans may be. He also presents a startling new theory called the "Species Replacement Hypothesis”, which, as you will see, he hopes will be proven wrong… Q: Your book, The Gods of Eden, is one of the most popular and talked-about works on the subject of extra-terrestrial influence on human history, yet you have said that you thought few people would ever read it. Do you think its popularity is a sign that more and more people are coming to accept the idea that extra-terrestrial beings have had, or continue to have, an influence on our history? A: I think the book taps into a belief that has been around for as long as human beings have been here. It is the idea that intelligent non-human entities are influencing human affairs. We used to call those entities "gods," "angels," "demons," and similar names. But when we look at some of them through modern eyes--through the Ancient Astronaut Hypothesis-- they come into focus in a new and startling way. So in a sense, my book is really nothing new. It is saying, "Yes, there may actually be some truth to the belief in non-human intervention, but it's only today that we can truly start to understand it because of our own advances in knowledge." Q: The view you put forward in your book is that extra-terrestrials have always played a very sinister and controlling role in human history, for example, through their involvement in the Black Death in Europe and by influencing wars and other major political events. Could you explain more about this ‘sinister side’ and whether you think extra-terrestrials could have provided any positive influence to humanity? A: I think the best analogy was expressed by Charles Fort a century ago: "I think we're property...other worlds explored and colonized here...something now has a legal right to us....[To Earth's owners, humans are like] pigs, geese, and cattle." Look at how we as humans handle our livestock. In many cases, farmers try to treat their animals well. When an animal get sick, the farmer may call in a veterinarian. Many farm workers even develop emotional bonds with some of their favorite creatures. But when the time comes to send their livestock to the slaughterhouse, the farmers will do so. In the meantime, farm workers will forever keep their livestock penned and under control, no matter how well they might otherwise treat their animals. When you look at UFO abduction reports, you see that humans are treated a lot like livestock. Humans are abducted against their will, they are immobilized, and they have physical procedures performed on them that are often reproductive in nature. The humans are not necessarily treated cruelly, but neither are they treated with the dignity of equals. To control a large population, you can't build a large pen around it like you can around a herd of cattle. At least two famous thinkers--Machiavelli and Sun Tzu -- spelled out what you do instead. You get the population to endlessly squabble and fight amongst themselves. The theory of my book is simply that this technique may have been applied to the human race as a whole. If the theory is true, I don't think that the ETs necessarily consider themselves sinister. Such a method of controlling the human population would simply be a necessary management technique in their minds. Q: One of the themes you have raised, linked to the title of your book, is that in the story of Eden, ‘God’ made it a sin to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge, and you have hypothesized that ‘God’ actually refers to a race of extra-terrestrials who created humans to serve them but who wanted to keep us igannant. What type of knowledge do you think this race of extra-terrestrials was trying to withhold from human beings? A: My theory is that the knowledge is a true understanding about the nature of consciousness, how it relates to the fundamentals of physical reality, and technical knowledge that would make humans a true space-faring race. These categories of knowledge, if developed to a high level, would make human beings rivals to the ET. The Adam and Eve story, the Tower of Babel story, along with their predecessors in earlier Mesopotamian legends, suggest that this knowledge is something that humans will never be allowed to fully attain. Q: You refer to extra-terrestrials as ‘custodians’ who view human beings like possessions and have sought to control us for thousands of years. Do you think extra-terrestrials have the same level of influence today as they did in ancient times when humanity’s role in ‘serving the Gods’ appeared to be more obvious and direct? A: I think that obvious and direct control is always more effective and influential than hidden manipulation. The weakness in using indirect methods is that you must usually appeal to the best in people to get them to do the stupid and destructive things that you want them to do. Not everyone goes along. But if you want to subdue a large population without having to constantly battle uprisings, then you need to use the kind of hidden methods described by Machiavelli and Sun Tzu. So, the ET influence would have been stronger when they were reportedly in open command, but the hidden methods they seem to have adopted later appears to have been effective in accomplishing their ongoing governance goals. The scientists are suggesting that an advanced alien civilization "seeded" our galaxy eons ago with an ET signal that eventually found its way to Earth, implanting a genetic code into humans, reports Discovery.com. Physicist Vladimir I. shCherbak of al-Farabi Kazakh National University of Kazakhstan and astrobiologist Maxim A. Makukov of the Fesenkvo Astrophysical Institute refer to this far-out concept as "biological SETI." The results of their research -- "The 'Wow! signal' of the terrestrial genetic code" -- can be found in the peer-reviewed journal, Icarus. The title of their study, which was partially financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, refers to an unexplained radio signal detected by SETI scientists in 1977. Well..everyone has to think something The thing about aliens and ufo's..since there IS no proof handy..any one of us could write a book (and most of us are capable)..jot down our pet theories and state the reasons why ours just have to be right..and presto..a new book on aliens or ufo's. "I channeled big bubba burple feet from the green nebula and HE told me that they are responsible for introducing beer to Earth." Prove me wrong. Do you know how many books are in the library..with someone channeling either the Archangel Michael, Gabriel or Uriel OR God? Yep there are 4 volumes devoted to a person who channels God. Maybe they do..but I think God is more bi-partisan than that and deals with humans mostly via party line..except for the fact that most people just will not listen. After reading afew of these and saying 'wow..cool' I sort of really started paying attention and found that those angels and God were sure coming through with a LOT of human characteristics, beliefs and ideals. Now..well..maybe I'll write my own book about Bubba..lots of people like beer

Ninety-nine percent consists of atoms of just six elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus, with the remaining one percent consisting of trace elements like magnesium, sulfur, and iron. But where did those elements come from? That question long presented a puzzle to scientists. At least it did until the publication of a now-obscure scientific paper in the middle of the twentieth century, as celebrated astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson explains in a new video (above). "There was a seminal paper -- one of the most important research papers ever published -- that gave us the description of the origin of the elements," Tyson says in the video. The paper is entitled "Synthesis of the Elements in Stars" but is sometimes referred to as the B2FH paper, after the authors' initials. It was published in Reviews of Modern Physics in 1957. Before its publication, the prevailing theory held that all elements were products of the Big Bang 15 billion years ago. But this theory accounted only for light elements like hydrogen and helium. So where did the heavy elements found in nature come from? The B2FH paper argued that all heavy elements were created within stars via nuclear fusion -- a process known as stellar nucleosynthesis. As stars cool and "die," they release the heavy elements into space. Ultimately, some of this material is incorporated into planets and even our bodies. www.ancient-origins.net/news-evolution-human-origins/geneticist-suggests-humans-could-be-hybrids-0070430 July, 2013 Geneticist Suggests Humans Could be Hybridsby John Black A new study conducted by well-known geneticist, Dr Eugene McCarthy, has controversially suggested that traits distinguishing chimpanzees from humans consistently connect with pigs and that Homo sapiens could be a hybrid of the two. It is not new that the DNA of pigs is very similar to humans – pigs are often used in surgical treatments of human beings, pig heart valves are used to replace those of human patients, pig skin is used for treatment of burns, and efforts are currently underway to use pig organs to transplant into humans. In 2012, research published in Nature magazine showed that pig’s genome is in the same way adaptable and susceptible to domestication as humans. Pigs suffer from the same genetic and protein malfunctions that account for many human diseases sharing 112 DNA mutations including Alzheimer, Parkinson and obesity. However, this research made no claim about links between pigs and humans. Here is where Eugene McCarthy’s hybrid theory comes. McCarthy is not just another theorist, he has spent most of his life studying hybrids and particular avian and mammalian hybrids, making him an expert on the topic. He suggests that pigs and chimpanzees are compatible to mate and that hybrids naturally occur in nature. He has found that traits distinguishing chimpanzees from humans consistently link pigs with humans alone. Years ago, before I became interested in ET subjects, I saw a strange vision one day while I was playing football during a game on a rival school's football field. Between rushes I saw this vision....There were a small number of pigs who had been, collectively, a group of Humans who pi.ssed-off the creators (Dragons who walked the Earth as though they owned the place). I saw a location amidst an area of some activity, which reminded me of a small town central-social-park, amidst areas of official governance. There were a group of Humans who had been corralled together, and were being publicly chastised by a Dragon of authority for some deceitfulness of which they were found guilty, whereby the Dragon proclaimed, "henceforth you shall forever drag your bellies on the ground as low-class snakes you choose to imitate!" I watched as the group of Humans began to morph from the bipedal (walk upright) to quadrupedal form (walk on feet and hands), their arms becoming short, thick; their abdomens drooping and swaying closely to the ground amidst their cries of begging forgivance,"we are sorry, we are sorry, please, please return us to that which we were.....", becoming high pitched squealing, grunting, and snorting, running terrified to and fro.....yet still thinking with the intellect of the Human-class.
And so today in the aeons since, our finest geneticists ponder the mystery of the pig genes similarity with that of Human genes.
I kid you not.

www.ufodigest.com/article/directed-panspermia-0828August 28, 2013 DIRECTED PANSPERMIA: ESTABLISHED SCIENCE MEETS PALEO-CONTACTBy Edward Crabtree It was a few billion years ago when The Conveyors had first arrived. From some far flung arm of the galaxy they had been travelling for longer than any sentient being was capable of remembering. They sliced through the hellish void of the cosmos and pushed forth in all directions. Within their glittering frames they nurtured the most precious cargo in all the universe....When one of The Conveyors chanced upon a Yellow dwarf-type star, and around this an aquatic world, its automated system, for it had no pilot, told it to slow down. The Conveyor then plunged into the atmosphere of this new world. On crashing onto the surface it ejected the spoor that it contained onto the waters and the rocks. This, at last, was hope for a new start.... That scenario is, of course, science fiction. In a notorious exchange with the controversialist Ben Stein, however, a respected British ethologist said something that was to create shockwaves. He said: `I could be that at some earlier time, somewhere in the Universe, a civilisation evolved, probably by some kind of Darwinian means, probably to a high level of technology, and designed a form of life that they seeded onto this planet. Now that is a possibility, an intriguing possibility`. The speaker was speculating, but plummy voice, which tells of nannies and the dreaming spires of Oxford, belonged to one Richard Dawkins. Dawkins represents the voice of Established Science. There is a formaldehyde whiff of Nineteenth Century materialist zeal about him. He is also the arch-scourge of beliefs in God or Gods, particularly in the form of organised religion. Here he was, though, entertaining an idea which presupposed the existence of intelligent alien beings. Had he gone all Prometheus on us? Much of the on-line response to these remarks (which Dawkins has made more than once) issued from Bible bashers. They see this as an attempt by an atheist to wriggle out of the need for divine intervention to explain the presence of life. Dawkins has since made out that he was simply holding out an `olive branch` to believers in creation. It was all by way of a `thought experiment` he said. Nevertheless, as we shall see, this is not the first time that a reputable scientist has explored such a notion. CONTINUE READING: www.ufodigest.com/article/directed-panspermia-0828

Wow. I don't even know where to begin punching holes in this article. Let's start with sickle-cell. The sickle-cell trait is not actually an "error" or a mistake. Unlike the author of this article, peer-reviewed scientific research has passed the scrutiny of one research team after another, and it has been deduced that the sickle-cell trait emerged in response to environmental pressure: it affords the carrier resistance to malaria, a very common malady in Africa. In other words, it's a product of natural selection. Article about that here: www.nature.com/scitable/topicpage/natural-selection-uncovering-mechanisms-of-evolutionary-adaptation-34539Those who did not possess the sickle-cell trait were vulnerable to malaria and as a result, most could not survive to reproduce. That is how the trait eventually became common in African populations. The assumption that "aliens" designed life or produced our species cannot be arrived at by an analysis of DNA. That is merely the assertion of the author and others who share that belief. There is a vast difference between science and pseudo-science. Pseudo-science is usually clothed in similar garb as science, using the same jargon. However, the difference between the two can be seen in the extraordinary claims made by those who peddle pseudo-scientific blather. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and as neat as "aliens made us" might sound, no evidence can be found that indicates this happened. Life is likely not as rare as we assume. Steven Hawking gave an excellent lecture on that subject, and you can read it here on his website: www.hawking.org.uk/life-in-the-universe.htmlThe introduction of multiple causal agents violates the guidelines of Occam's Razor. The more factors you introduce, the more unlikely the hypothesis becomes. In addition, introducing "God" or aliens as the mechanism required to start or create life is unfalsifiable, once again violating logical algorithms of inductive thinking. Neither "God" nor aliens can be reasonably proved, leaving us with the following result: we don't know. That is the only honest conclusion any of us can make.

humansarefree.com/2014/05/the-genesis-of-homo-sapiens-and-our.htmlMay 4, 2014 The Genesis of Homo Sapiens and Our Extraterrestrial DNA The mysteries of ancient history, such as how the Great Pyramid was built and by whom and why, have been well established over the past four decades. Similar archaeological enigmas litter the landscape around the planet and they raise many difficult questions about the origin of human civilisation. Erik Von Daniken’s series of books, which began with Chariots of the Gods, presented archeological evidence while recounting many mythological traditions that have “gods” arriving on Earth from a distant world and bringing technology and the arts of civilised life to primitive human tribes. Many writers followed Von Daniken’s lead and an entire school of alternative historical thought called the “ancient astronaut” theory emerged over the years. This school must be distinguished from another branch largely defined by such writers as Graham Hancock, which we can sum up as the “lost civilisation” school. The latter does not figure into this discussion nor is it covered in my book The Genesis Race because it never really addresses the issue of the ultimate origins of Man or civilisation. Even if you accept the idea ancient Egypt and Sumer had their origins in Atlantis, who created that civilisation and from what precursors? The essential questions the author has been studying over the past three decades are: 1) how did life originate and evolve on Earth?, and 2) how did civilisation suddenly emerge from mankind’s primitive roots? To my mind it seemed the ancient astronaut theory could be defeated if Darwin’s theory proved to be correct, which “official science” claims it has been. That premise can be justified using several valid arguments. The “ancient astronaut” theory generally includes the idea summed up in the first chapter of Genesis, which indicates the “gods” genetically engineered a proto-human race. The actual verse reads, “Let us make man in our image.” If Darwinism is accurate then this assertion would be untrue and the notion of cosmic intervention by an advanced race would fall apart. The second reason is Darwin’s theory has not only been applied to biology, it is also used to explain the emergence and development of human civilisation by a process referred to as cultural evolution. At its core Darwinism is based on a simple concept: life evolves slowly via a process of incremental adaptations to a wide variety of external stimulus. He applied it to biology and anthropologists, archaeologists and historians applied the same principles to culture and human history. If this is correct then we should not find any abrupt transformations in human “evolution” either biological or historical. I reason that if Darwinism is accurate then there may not be any valid scientific basis for the “ancient astronaut” theory, which posited intervention and rapid-fire metamorphosis in both the biological and historical spheres. The results of this research proved surprising. Darwinism is not only unproven – it has been shown by scientists to be fatally flawed. - humansarefree.com/2013/12/9-scienctific-facts-prove-theory-of.htmlCONTINUE READING: humansarefree.com/2014/05/the-genesis-of-homo-sapiens-and-our.html

humansarefree.com/2014/07/does-rh-negative-blood-type-equal-alien.htmlJuly 23, 2014 Does Rh Negative Blood Type Equal Alien Heritage? Why does the human species have so many different blood types and Rh values when we supposedly came from 'Adam and Eve'? The biblical story of evolution no longer works as a viable explanation for evolution. Now what? Was our species genetically manipulated or were we seeded here from other star systems by aliens or, more likely, our galactic star families? The blood of the 'gods'Are you an Rh Negative blood type? If so you could be a decendent of the ancient astronauts themselves! About a year and a half ago my sister Bonnie and I were discussing some of the unusual characteristics of our family. Bonnie had a problem with infants haemolytic disease. She has 0 negative blood. She has written a book including this problem called "The Deux" by Venus Thaddeus. One of the questions we asked was why does this haemolytic disease occur? Why, along with the Rh negative blood does our family have such a high IQ (135-140 average). Why so many psychic experiences? Why this urge to ask "why?" Why the early maturity or the large head and eyes? Why have we always felt we were "different" from other people? And so many other things to set us apart. We were raised in the church, but we never received answers to the questions we asked. Why doesn't anyone else ask these same questions? We are not satisfied with the answer "just because". Are there others out there who ask the same questions? Then we heard about the possibility of the ancient astronauts and the pieces started to fall into place. For the past decade many people have been working to prove that the earth has been visited by extraterrestrial beings. Who are these visitors? Why did they come? Why did they leave? Did they leave? If earth was visited in the ancient past, are there any descendants of these visitors? If all mankind are not descendants of these visitors, which ones are? Who are the "Children of Israel?" Why was their seed blessed? Why were they told not to inter-marry with other people and to circumcise their sons for identification? Why were they told to preserve their geneology? Where did Adam and Eve's sons go to get their wives, if they were the only "humans" on earth? Many scientists believe that modern man evolved from ape-like primates. They have much proof to back up their theories, including modern blood analysis and comparative studies between modern man and lower anthripoids, such as the chimpanzee and the Rhesus monkey. It has been proven that the majority of mankind (85%) has a blood factor common with the rhesus monkey. This is called rhesus positive blood. Usually shortened to Rh positive. This factor is completely independent from the A, B, 0 blood types. In the study of genetics, we find that we can only inherit what our ancestors had except in the case of mutation. We can have any of numerous combinations of traits inherited from all our ancestors. Nothing more and nothing less. Therefore, if man and ape evolved from a common ancestor, their blood would have evolved the same way. Blood factors are transmitted with much more exactitude than any other characteristic. It would seem that modern man and rhesus monkey may have had a common ancestor sometime in the ancient past. All other earthly primates also have this Rh factor. But this leaves out the people who are Rh negative. If all mankind evolved from the same ancestor their blood would be compatible. Where did the Rh negatives come from? If they are not the descendants of prehistoric man, could they be the descendants of the ancient astronauts? All animals and other living creatures known to man can breed with any other of their species. Relative size and color makes no difference. Why does infant's haemolytic disease occur in humans if all humans are the same species? Haemolytic disease is the allergic reaction that occurs when an Rh negative mother is carrying a Rh positive child. Her blood builds up antibodies to destroy an ALIEN substance (the same way it would a virus), thereby destroying the infant. www.ancient-code.com/we-are-all-aliens-and-life-came-to-earth-from-space-say-scientists/ We are ALL Aliens and Life came to Earth from Space say Scientistsby Ivan Petricevic / www.ancient-code.com/author/ivanpetricevic/October 8, 2015 We are ALL Aliens and Life came to Earth from Space According to new research, its very likely that we are all in face Aliens that came from elsewhere in the universe to Earth. Ladies and gentleman the controversy has been served after Astronauts on board the International Space Stations discovered marine plankton on one of the Stations windows. Another point for ‘Panspermia’ here as researchers say that this is further evidence to support the idea that life came to our planet from elsewhere in the cosmos. While Russian experts state that these tiny organisms were brought to the station by ‘air currents from the sea’ where plankton is found in abundance, other scientists argue that it is impossible for plankton to ‘travel’ to the ISS, meaning that these organisms must have originated from somewhere else. The finding was made possible thanks to high precision equipment although researchers have no idea how the organisms ended up at the International Space Station. Further research on the organisms discovered on the International Space Station showed that the organisms are not native to Baikonur, Kazahstan, where some of the modules originated. This means that it is extremely unlikely that the organisms were hauled into space from the launch although there is a possibility that they were transferred from US parts of the ISS since NASA launch sites are located near the Atlantic Ocean. “The results of the experiment are absolutely unique. We have found remains of sea plankton (…). This should be studied further, “said cosmonaut Vladimir Soloviev, head of one of the Russian orbital missions. According to Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe , from the Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology, algae or diatoms have been previously found in meteorites that fell to Earth. ‘Diatoms have been found on meteorites in Sri Lanka, but there has been no proof where they actually came from,’ he said. ‘This is the first time that we have evidence that points towards complex living organisms falling from the skies to Earth. ‘The space station is orbiting the earth in a total vacuum, there is no air, so it is a total defiance of the laws of physics to say these organisms were blown into space from Earth. ‘The only explanation is that they have come from elsewhere in space, and this supports long-held theories that plankton, and therefore all life on Earth including humans, originated from organisms in space. ‘Everything that we have on the Earth is derived from space, including humans.’ www.ancient-code.com/we-are-all-aliens-and-life-came-to-earth-from-space-say-scientists/

www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2016/03/-europe-releases-astrobiology-map-to-study-evolution-and-distribution-of-life-in-the-universe.html Europe Releases 'Astrobiology Map' --"To Study Evolution and Distribution of Life in the Universe"March 29, 2016 The first scientific Roadmap for European Astrobiology was published on March 21st. This strategic landmark for European astrobiology has been produced through the European Commission-funded AstRoMap project (2013-2015). In putting this research roadmap document together, the 19 authors relied on the outcome and findings of the AstRoMap project as well as on wide community consultation and four disciplinary workshops organised between 2013 and 2014. The AstRoMap European Astrobiology Roadmap considers astrobiology in a wide context: it is understood as the study of the origin, evolution, and distribution of life in the context of cosmic evolution; this includes habitability in the Solar System and beyond. This makes this roadmap a transdisciplinary document of relevance for many communities, from astronomers to planetary scientists and from atmospheric physicists to life scientists. While it addresses life beyond the Earth, topics it puts forward are also very relevant to life in Earth extreme environments and to the understanding of our evolving ecosystem. The AstRoMap roadmap identifies five research topics, specifies several key scientific objectives for each topic, and suggests ways to achieve these objectives in a stepwise approach (in the short -within the next decade-, medium -within the next two decades-, and long -beyond 20 years- terms). The five AstRoMap Research Topics are: Research Topic 1 Origin and Evolution of Planetary Systems Research Topic 2 Origins of Organic Compounds in Space Research Topic 3 Rock-Water-Carbon Interactions, Organic Synthesis on Earth, and Steps to Life Research Topic 4 Life and Habitability Research Topic 5 Biosignatures as Facilitating Life Detection Besides putting forward scientific priority topics the AstRoMap roadmap also strongly recommends that a European Astrobiology Platform (or Institute) should be set up to streamline scientific investigations, maximise interdisciplinary collaboration and optimise the use and development of infrastructures. www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2016/05/clusters-of-life-could-spread-through-the-milky-way-like-an-epidemic-todays-most-popular.html "Clusters of Life Could Spread Through the Milky Way Like an Epidemic" (Tuesday's Most Popular)May 10, 2016 "Life could spread from host star to host star in a pattern similar to the outbreak of an epidemic. In a sense, the Milky Way galaxy would become infected with pockets of life," said Harvard-Smithsonian CfA astronomer Avi Loeb. New research released in 2015 by Harvard astrophysicists shows that if life can travel between the stars (a process called panspermia), it would spread in a characteristic pattern that we could potentially identify. "In our theory clusters of life form, grow, and overlap like bubbles in a pot of boiling water," says lead author Henry Lin of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA). Image credit: Top of page, Open star cluster NGC 2547 In the theoretical artist's conception of the Milky Way galaxy below, transluscent green "bubbles" mark areas where life has spread beyond its home system to create cosmic oases, a process called panspermia. New research suggests that we could detect the pattern of panspermia, if it occurs. There are two basic ways for life to spread beyond its host star. The first would be via natural processes such as gravitational slingshotting of asteroids or comets. The second would be for intelligent life to deliberately travel outward. The paper does not deal with how panspermia occurs. It simply asks: if it does occur, could we detect it? In principle, the answer is yes. The model assumes that seeds from one living planet spread outward in all directions. If a seed reaches a habitable planet orbiting a neighboring star, it can take root. Over time, the result of this process would be a series of life-bearing oases dotting the galactic landscape. If we detect signs of life in the atmospheres of alien worlds, the next step will be to look for a pattern. For example, in an ideal case where the Earth is on the edge of a "bubble" of life, all the nearby life-hosting worlds we find will be in one half of the sky, while the other half will be barren. Lin and Loeb caution that a pattern will only be discernible if life spreads somewhat rapidly. Since stars in the Milky Way drift relative to each other, stars that are neighbors now won't be neighbors in a few million years. In other words, stellar drift would smear out the bubbles. This video states that with the human genome project it has been proven that there are 2% to 3% differences between the races.
So?
I dont think that it makes anything more difficult (or easier). We know things are almost always lost in the "translation".
(always seemed a little bogus to me; the claim that our "differences" happened because our understanding of each others language got confused. Lol. Is it ever that simple?)

www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2016/06/caltech-if-theres-life-elsewhere-in-the-cosmos-is-it-based-on-the-biochemistry-we-know.html Caltech: "If There's Life Elsewhere in the Cosmos, is It Based on the Biochemistry We Know?"June 15, 2016 Caltech researchers have detected, for the first time, a chiral molecule outside of our solar system, bringing them one step closer to understanding one of the most puzzling mysteries of the early origins of life. By discovering a chiral molecule in space, we finally have a way to study where and how these molecules form before they find their way into meteorites and comets, and to understand the role they play in the origins of life. "The past few years of exoplanetary science have told us there are millions of solar system-like environments in our galaxy alone, and thousands of nearby young stars around which planets are being born," says Geoffrey Blake, professor of cosmochemistry and planetary sciences and professor of chemistry. "The detection of propylene oxide, and the future projects it enables, lets us begin to ask the question--does interstellar prebiotic chemistry plant the primordial cosmic seeds that determine the handedness of life?" Chiral molecules--compounds that come in otherwise identical mirror image variations, like a pair of human hands--are crucial to life as we know it. Living things are selective about which "handedness" of a molecule they use or produce. For example, all living things exclusively use the right-handed form of the sugar ribose (the backbone of DNA), and grapes exclusively synthesize the left-handed form of the molecule tartaric acid. While homochirality--the use of only one handedness of any given molecule--is evolutionarily advantageous, it is unknown how life chose the molecular handedness seen across the biosphere. Unidentified Aerial Phenomena sightings were reported over Australia, Canada, China, Cuba, Cyprus, Karaganda, Russia, and England in the United Kingdom. The Filer Research Institute feels the scientific study of UFOs is for the benefit of humankind and is an important endeavor. The US Air Force investigated UFOs publicly for more than twenty years under Project Blue Book; and I continue this advanced research. I believe the God of the universe has spread life throughout the cosmos and UFO’s are visiting us in ever-increasing numbers. Your DNA Proves Extraterrestrials Are RealEven though it might sound surprising to some, researchers cannot rule out the possibility that humans are genetic descendants of extraterrestrial beings, who passed their DNA on to our species. Many people believe that our ancient Alien ancestors encoded valuable information about their ‘dying species’ in hopes that their legacy and life would go on through a second species. This, however, is just one of the many theories that are being offered in relation to our DNA and our Alien origins. Researchers such has Francis Crick discovered numerous peculiarities in our DNA that suggest we are a cosmic species, one that has an incredible and ‘unacceptable’ history behind them. The whole basic idea of the existence of an extraterrestrial DNA embedded into our species originates from two scientific concepts that are anything but explained by scientists. The first one is the incredible complexity of our species DNA sequence which, according to researchers around the world, evolved out of separate molecules floating around together. The second one, even more surprising is the fact that only one small part of our DNA contains genes that make us living beings. The rest of the DNA is referred to many as ‘Junk or alien DNA’. The whole idea about Alien DNA and the possibility of humans being a race created by some other more advanced species is fascinating. Nobel Prize winning DNA researcher Francis Crick firmly believed that it was impossible for DNA molecule to be created on earth by accident or evolution. Crick believed that such an intricate and elaborate system could not be the result of the process of evolution and that something ‘else’ was behind it all. According to mainstream scientists, they suggest that the evolution of DNA is rather simple. They explain that when our planet was created, atoms and molecules moved around until eventually coming together in water where ideal conditions were met for DNA to be created. Crick, however, feels that his explanation is unlikely and compared the likelihood of DNA evolving in this way to the likelihood of a fully functioning jumbo jet being formed from random debris that was left behind by a hurricane. In other words, it’s something that simply put, could not have occurred. Crick believed life on Earth was seeded by ‘directed Panspermia’. Crick’s revolutionary and controversial theory states that an alien race facing doom wanted to preserve the essence of life and their species and decided to send it to Earth via some sort of spaceship. It is believed that ‘life’ came to Earth via a spaceship and not via a meteor since a ‘space rock’ would be too exposed to radiation for a long period of time, so it is very unlikely that life on Earth began thanks to a space rock crashing into the planet. “Francis Crick, the discoverer of DNA, although an atheist published his book, “Life Itself” which subscribed to the theory of intelligent design, that our universe was not simply the result of a series of chemical accidents. Primordial life was shipped to Earth in some sort of spaceships. He states, “Life did not evolve first on Earth; a highly advanced civilization became threatened so they devised a way to pass on their existence. They genetically-modified their DNA and sent it out from their planet on bacteria or meteorites with the hope that it would collide with another planet. It did, and that’s why we’re here.” Our DNA was encoded with messages from that other civilization. They programmed the molecules so that when we reached a certain level of intelligence, we would be able to access their information, and they could therefore “teach” us about ourselves, and how to progress. It possible aliens traveled from another planet to Earth. For instance, the largest human chromosome, chromosome number 1, is approximately 220 million base pairs long. Mathematically human DNA is too complicated to be an accident. In my opinion, the history of the human race is built on a series of assumptions that primitive ape like creatures evolved into humans. I suggest there is little real evidence of evolution ignoring the strong evidence for visitors. The scientific study of ancient humans is known as Paleoanthropolgy. Lee R. Burger is Director of Paleoanthropolgy Unit for Research and Exploration at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. In his excellent book, “In the Footsteps of Eve” he states, “The fossil evidence for modern human origins in the critical time period between 100,000 and 200,000 years ago is, like archaics, frustratingly rare. In fact, the entire fossil evidence of anatomically modern-looking humans from around the world, and over 60,000 years, wouldn’t fill a card table. The enduring mystery of human origins is why one member of this primate family evolved into the dominant species on Earth that are humans today? Nevertheless, the fossil evidence that does exist points to an African origin for modern humans.” Page 296 CONTINUE READING: nationalufocenter.com/2017/01/filers-files-1-2017-dna-proves-et-exists/

www.ancient-code.com/co-discoverer-of-dna-claims-our-genes-were-brought-to-earth-by-extraterrestrials/ Co-discoverer of DNA claims our GENES were brought to Earth by Extraterrestrialsby Ancient Code / www.ancient-code.com/author/ancient-code/1-3-17 (credit: FOX) According to co-discoverer of the DNA structure of the DNA molecule in 1953: “…organisms were deliberately transmitted to earth by intelligent beings on another planet. We conclude that it is possible that life reached the earth in this way, but that the scientific evidence is inadequate at the present time to say anything about the probability…” Furthermore, Crick’s thoughts on the theory that we are a result of ‘a bunch of molecules crashing into each other’ are that it is as likely as the assembly of a Jumbo Jet, hit by a hurricane in a junkyard. When asking about the origin of life, it is inevitable to think about the possibility hat in the distant past, when life on Earth was inexistent, an advanced alien civilization ‘seeded’ life on Earth. Interestingly, Francis Crick, the English researcher who is noted for being the co-discoverer of the DNA structure of the DNA molecule in 1953 together with James D. Watson has some extremely fascinating things to say about the human DNA. Francis Crick-Watson and Maurice Wilkins were awarded the 19623 Nobel Prize for Physiology for Medicine “for their discoveries concerning the molecular structure of nucleic acids and its significance for information transfer in living material.” Life on Earth: The result of advanced alien civilizations? Interestingly, in the book titled ‘Life Itself,’ Francis Crick states that there is NO POSSIBLE WAY that the DNA molecule could have kick-started on Earth and that it must have originated from elsewhere. Mainstream scientists firmly believe that the WE are in fact the result of a conglomeration of molecules, randomly bumping into each other, hence creating life as we know it. But Francis Crick disagrees and believes we are in fact the result of what its called as Directed Panspermia. Crick’s thoughts on the theory that we are a result of ‘a bunch of molecules crashing into each other’ are that it is as likely as the assembly of a Jumbo Jet, hit by a hurricane in a junkyard, meaning that in his opinion that theory had no credibility. Together with Crick, British chemist Leslie Orgel Published a paper on the matter in July of 1973 explaining that: “…organisms were deliberately transmitted to earth by intelligent beings on another planet. We conclude that it is possible that life reached the earth in this way, but that the scientific evidence is inadequate at the present time to say anything about the probability. We draw attention to the kinds of evidence that might throw additional light on the topic.” (source) Could it be that as author Graham Hancock noted that we are a species with amnesia? We still don’t completely know where we come from and how we got there. Chandra Wickramasinghe, the Director of the Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology at the University of Buckingham in the U.K. seems to agree with Cricks thinking. Speaking to the Huffington Post, Wickramasinghe pointed out: “Hoyle and I pioneered the theory of carbon grains in space to replace the old ice grain theory. This was vehemently resisted by the astronomical community at the outset, but with the dawn of infrared spectroscopy, the ice grain theory gave way to the carbon dust theory. Over a few years, after a great deal of model-fitting, we came to the conclusion that material similar to biomaterial fitted all the available data in astronomy. We considered the possibility that microbiology had a universal character, and no observations in astronomy or new information from biology has provided contrary evidence. If only ideas that are considered orthodox are given support through award of grans or publication opportunities, it is certain that the progress of science will be stifled as it was throughout the middle age.” Furthermore, in a paper co-authored in 2012 called “Non-terrestrial origin of life: a transformative research paradigm shift,” the researchers points out that: “For nearly five decades, evidence in favor of a non-terrestrial origin of life and panspermia has accumulated which has not been properly assessed. A point has now been reached that demands the serious attention of biologists to a possibly transformative paradigm shift of the question of the origin of life, with profound implications across many disciplines.” (source) In addition to Wickramasinghe, Crick and others, researcher and author Dr. Ellis Silver states that there are several tell-tale signs present in the human race that suggest human beings did not evolve ALONGSIDE other life forms on Earth, which eventually means we are the aliens we have been searching for all along. So where do we come from? According to Dr. Ellis, Neanderthals, were most likely crossbred with another species, perhaps from the star system Alpha Centauri –which is one of the closest solar systems to Earth— in the distant past, giving birth to modern humans. www.ancient-code.com/co-discoverer-of-dna-claims-our-genes-were-brought-to-earth-by-extraterrestrials/

www.space.com/35188-star-trek-alien-evolution.html?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=Twitter&utm_campaign=socialtwitterspc&cmpid=social_spc_514648 'Star Trek' Science: Why Vulcans (and Other Aliens) Look Like HumansBy Nola Taylor Redd, Space.com Contributor December 31, 2016 Spock, portrayed by Leonard Nimoy in the original "Star Trek" series and films, was half human and half Vulcan. An evolutionary biologist suggests that such interbreeding could happen only if humans were related to Vulcans by a recent ancestor. Credit: Star Trek (via Facebook) Human life, seeded to other planets by an extraterrestrial civilization, could explain why so many of the aliens in the fictional "Star Trek" universe resemble human men and women. After studying scenes from the various shows and movies, one evolutionary biologist posited that the galaxy-wide distribution of Earth-based life-forms could help to explain some of the resemblance between Kirk and Spock. "This model ignores things like the difference in heart placement — perhaps unlikely — or the Vulcan copper, rather than human iron-based, blood — also unlikely," Mohamed Noor, an evolutionary biologist at Duke University in North Carolina, told Space.com by email. "But the overall principle is more probable than the notion that the species evolved completely independently to look almost the same after billions of years." Noor presented the results of his off-hour research this summer at Atlanta's Dragon Con. [How 'Star Trek' Technology Works (Infographic)] www.space.com/12858-star-trek-timeline-science-fiction-infographic.html The seeds of humankindLife on Earth might not have originated on the planet itself. Scientists have long considered the possibility of panspermia, the idea that our planet's life or its precursors came from outer space. After drifting, unplanned, into the habitable environment, the seed material might have developed into life as we know it today. A similar idea was investigated in an episode of "Star Trek: The Next Generation." In "The Chase" (Season 6, Episode 20), an ancient alien species called the Preservers was revealed to have seeded many planets with the same genetic material. Over billions of years, similar plants, animals and humanoids developed on a variety of worlds, according to the story presented in the episode. But Noor doesn't buy it. "Sounds good, but no way," Noor said. Even with the same initial conditions, he said, the probability of plants and animals with similar appearances — and, in species like Vulcans, able to breed with humans — developing on multiple worlds from only genetic material is incredibly low. With the passage of so much time, the various worlds would evolve creatures very different from one another. "By their [the show's] model, we are literally more closely related to grass or an amoeba than we are to a Vulcan," Noor said. "I don't imagine us having kids with those other species." [Where No Films Have Gone Before: The Complete 'Star Trek' Movie List] Instead, Noor proposed that the seeding occurred much more recently than portrayed in the episode. If the human ancestor Homo erectus, along with plants and other animals, were taken by the Preservers only a million years ago, rather than the proposed billion, and were seeded onto planets like Vulcan, the resulting life-forms could be more closely related, Noor said. "It would require an extreme version of fast terraforming, but from a biological perspective, it's at least possible," Noor said. Meanwhile, the Homo erectus individuals who remained on Earth could have evolved into humans while those on Vulcan evolved to become pointy-eared aliens. "The two modern species would surely look similar, but it's likely there would be some physical differences," Noor said, pointing to Vulcans' unusual ears and eyebrows. The close genetic relationship among the different descendants of Homo erectus could even allow them to produce an offspring born of both, such as the half-human, half-Vulcan Spock. Kissing cousinsAs a longtime "Star Trek" fan, Noor has enjoyed examining the accuracy of the show. In college, he and his professors would joke about the unfeasible scientific explanations presented in "The Next Generation," the series on the air at the time. To prepare for his Dragon Con presentation, Noor spent time reviewing various episodes from multiple series of the show, and then discussing the science with biologists and chemists. "I think the idea of trying to imagine what life in outer space could be is fascinating," he said. "I have really enjoyed researching this." If human life in the "Star Trek" universe was indeed seeded on multiple planets, Earth would be the most likely original source, Noor said. That's because life-forms on Earth are clearly related to one another in a hierarchal way. Humans would be more closely related to aliens such as Romulans and Klingons than they are to chimpanzees. Confirming this would be "remarkably easy" for an evolutionary biologist in the "Star Trek" universe, Noor said. By comparing DNA samples from other human-like aliens to those of Earthlings, biologists would be able to discover the close genetic relationship between them, which would easily rule out the idea of random, undirected panspermia. "We may even be able to infer approximately how many years ago this happened from the difference in the DNA sequence," Noor said. Follow Nola Taylor Redd on Twitter @nolatredd or Google+. Watson. Francis Crick Watson and Maurice Wilkins were jointly awarded the 1962 Nobel Prize for Physiology for Medicine “for their discoveries concerning the molecular structure of nucleic acids and its significance for information transfer in living material.” He was clearly a brilliant scientist who unfortunately, like many other brilliant minds who came up with theories that challenged the accepted frameworks at the time, wasn’t given much ‘press.’ In his book published in 1982, Life Itself, he argues that there is no possible way that the DNA molecule could have gotten its start here on Earth and that it had to have come here from somewhere else. Within the mainstream scientific community, the generally accepted theory is that we are the result of a bunch of molecules accidentally bumping into each other, creating life. However, according to Francis, we are the result of what is now known as Directed Panspermia. Crick and a British chemist, Leslie Orgel, published their paper on it in July of 1973. Their theory explains that, “organisms were deliberately transmitted to earth by intelligent beings on another planet. We conclude that it is possible that life reached the earth in this way, but that the scientific evidence is inadequate at the present time to say anything about the probability. We draw attention to the kinds of evidence that might throw additional light on the topic.” (source) As far as Crick’s thoughts on the theory that we are the result of accidentally bumping into each other, he thinks this was as likely as the assembly of a jumbo jet hit by a hurricane in a junk yard. In other words, he thought the theory held little to no credibility. When it comes to Crick’s theory, there have been some who expanded upon his work and have actually found evidence of it. Perhaps Crick had some evidence or he was able to connect some dots? After all, theories like this aren’t just born out of nowhere and this gentleman won the Nobel Prize for the study of DNA. Thoughts like this should not be taken lightly and evidence should be examined to see if it’s a plausible hypothesis. Please keep in mind while reading this article that, although we’ve discovered much, we have yet to identify the biological functions of large portions of our DNA. There is so much mystery wrapped in what could possibly hold the answer to life itself and the origins of the human race. mysteriousuniverse.org/2017/12/scientists-uncover-more-evidence-that-life-may-have-began-in-space/ Scientists Uncover More Evidence That Life May Have Began in Spaceby Brett Tingley / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/bbtingley/ December 20, 2017 Besides, one solar system’s trash is another solar system’s treasure. It’s been one of humanity’s burning questions throughout history: where did life come from? Given what we now know of the origin of the universe and the history of our planet, and it’s easy to see how life might have originated not from our own planet but from elsewhere the universe where it then came to Earth somehow. There are many competing theories about how this could have happened: impacts of asteroids carrying organic molecules, tiny microbes propelled by radiation, or even that garbage dumped by aliens could have accidentally led to life on our planet. Of course, there’s also the theory of “directed” panspermia which argues life could have been sent here purposefully by an incredibly advanced civilization as a means of spreading the seed of life throughout the universe. As outlandish as that sounds, Breakthrough Initiatives scientists have already proposed such an idea using tiny probes carrying modified bacteria which carry human DNA, and we’re still basically just cavemen who learned how to make stuff. Whether or not any of the panspermia theories is actually true or not is one thing, but scientists in Canada have now found that life could indeed originate from space. Their research discovered that organic molecules can form in space out of regular ol’ space dirt, thanks to the ever-present power of cosmic radiation. The researchers placed small films of methane and oxygen ice – the same ices found on comets, asteroids, and cosmic dust – into a cold vacuum to simulate space, then bombarded the ice with the same low-energy electrons found in ultraviolet light, cosmic rays, and other forms of radiation common to space. The electrons ionized the matter in the ices, forcing reactions to occur which led to the creation of several organic molecules thought to be potential “building blocks” of life including acetic acid, formaldehyde, and methanol. There are several variations of the panspermia theory, the most popular being lithopanspermia - the theory that organic molecules or organisms embedded into meteorites crashed into Earth and seeded life. But didn’t an asteroid also likely kill the dinosaurs? The cosmos giveth, and the cosmos taketh away. In their published study, the researchers claim this specific effect of cosmic radiation could be the ‘spark’ which led to the first life in our solar system and perhaps beyond: This radiation-driven molecular synthesis may indeed represent a driving force in the original biogenesis of the molecular building blocks of life in our own solar system and, due to the ubiquitous nature of matter and radiation, may represent a key element in molecular biogenesis throughout the universe. While far from being proof once and for all that we are actually just the reeking byproducts of alien garbage, this research at least confirms that life could have originated from space, even on small icy hunks of rock or cosmic dust particles hurtling free through the cosmos. But, while I don’t mean to disparage the significance of this discovery, I have to wonder: didn’t literally everything technically come from space too after the Big Bang? Even if life originated on Earth, isn’t the matter which composes our planet technically “from space”? Aren’t we in space right now? Sure, we might be tethered to the surface of this planet, but we’re still riding on it as it hurtles through space at 19 miles per second in giant ellipses around the Sun, oblivious to the movement and destination of our vessel like ants circling the drain atop an old waffle some alien flushed down his weird alien toilet. So don’t go joining that crazy UFO cult just yet. They might say the mothership is coming back, but they also all wear Keds. Never trust the cults with Keds. mysteriousuniverse.org/2017/12/scientists-uncover-more-evidence-that-life-may-have-began-in-space/

by CHRISTOPHER PLAIN / thedebrief.org/author/chris-plain/·FEBRUARY 11, 2022 Researchers have shown that amino acids can form peptides–the building blocks of life–in space, potentially explaining the origin of life. Previous theories proposed that amino acids carried aboard comets and meteors seeded Earth early in its formation. Then the conversion of those acids into peptides happened after their arrival, not before. This new research challenges that notion, claiming that this conversion can occur in space. THE ORIGIN OF LIFE IS A FUNDAMENTAL QUESTION How did life begin? It is among the most fundamental questions posed throughout human history by religious scholars, philosophers, and scientists alike. But as of 2022, there is no consensus answer. For scientists, the pursuit has primarily focused on the origin of single-celled organisms that, based on fossil records, seemed to have shown up a few hundred million years after the planet’s formation. That’s mainly because these original single-celled organisms appeared to have laid the foundation for the natural selection-based evolutionary process that resulted in the wide range of complex life forms we see today. Still, the question of how those very first organisms sparked into life remains unanswered. Now, a team of researchers from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy has shown that amino acids can form into more complex peptides, a key component of life, in the harsh conditions of space. A ONE-STEP CONVERSION FROM AMINO ACID TO PEPTIDE IN SIMULATED SPACE According to the press release announcing the new research, “Amino acids, nucleobases and various sugars found in meteoroids, for example, show that {their} origin could be extraterrestrial in nature. However, for a peptide to be formed from individual amino acid molecules, very special conditions are required that were previously assumed to be more likely to exist on Earth.” Until now, those conditions typically included the presence of water, primarily because each time a base amino acid combines with another to form a peptide chain, a water molecule must be removed. “Water plays an important role in the conventional way in which peptides are created,” explained Dr. Serge Krasnokutski from the Laboratory Astrophysics and Cluster Physics Group of the institute. “Our quantum chemical calculations have now shown that the amino acid glycine can be formed through a chemical precursor – called an amino ketene – combining with a water molecule. Put simply: in this case, water must be added for the first reaction step, and water must be removed for the second.” This contradicting set of circumstances forced the researchers to look at the origin of peptides in an entirely different and shockingly more straightforward way, removing one of the two steps and water from the process altogether. “Instead of taking the chemical detour in which amino acids are formed, we wanted to find out whether amino ketene molecules could not be formed instead and combine directly to form peptides,” said Krasnokutski. “And we did this under the conditions that prevail in cosmic molecular clouds, that is to say on dust particles in a vacuum, where the corresponding chemicals are present in abundance: carbon, ammonia, and carbon monoxide.” To test this hypothesis, the team employed an ultra-high vacuum chamber, which would let them simulate the environment of space by dropping it to about one quadrillionth normal air pressure and minus 263 degrees Celsius. Inside the chamber, they placed artificial substrates that served as models of dust particles like those found in interstellar space. When researchers introduced the carbon, ammonia, and carbon monoxide molecules onto the simulated dust particle surfaces, they witnessed the one-step conversion from individual glycine amino acids to the peptide chain polyglycine. And all without the introduction of water. “Investigations showed that under these conditions, the peptide polyglycine was formed from the simple chemicals,” Krasnokutski says. “These are therefore chains of the very simple amino acid glycine.” “And we observed different lengths,” added Krasnokutski regarding the complexity of the peptides seen in their experiments. “The longest specimens consisted of eleven units of the amino acid.” According to the research team, the success of this waterless, one-step conversion is based primarily on one “extremely reactive” amino acid; amino ketene.
