Before I get too old and forget everything I will try to post what notes I've kept through the years. From 1986 to 2000 I had several UFO sightings. Of course you all know about my 1986 UFO encounter so I will skip that one. My first UFO sighting was in 1976.
I do not have an exact date for this UFO sighting but it was in December 1976. There were several witnesses and what was interesting as we had house guests who we could not wake up so they could see this.
The first witness saw several star-like white objects streaking across the sky and doing figure eights. This occurred sometime around midnight. He went inside my family home and awoke my family. We all went outside and saw 7 or 8 objects remain in a stationary position while turning counter-clockwise. The counter-clockwise movement was observed through binoculars by myself and the other witnesses present.
The objects had three creamy white lights on them. The lights were only visible with binoculars. They seemed to look like stars since they were apart of the evening constellations. I watched the objects for approximately a half hour before going in the house since I was cold.
My brother watched the objects until sunrise when they disappeared. He said the objects continued to fly back and forth until the sun came up.

I think Cliff had a sighting very similar to that one.
Why were you not able to wake up the guests? Did they just not want to be disturbed or were they zonked out?

He said the objects continued to fly back and forth until the sun came up. I like this . I very rarely go inside because I feel "threatened". I'm hoping your brother has no 'side effects'. I know I'm way behind most of you in knowledge. When I read about the "gulf breeze" encounter, I was surprised that the guy had to be lured outside. makes me wonder about certain house construction? Don't investigators think of all this stuff?? So far, your encounters are sounding benign (much like mine, I guess). Thank You for sharing.

We tried to wake up our guests but they would not awake. They groaned, rolled over and went back to sleep. My brother is fine and I don't think he's had any UFO sightings after 1976 sighting.

If I remember correctly Cliff also saw a bunch of little lights like stars zipping around in the sky. He had a friend there who also saw them. Maybe the next time he comes on he can tell you more about it.

Here's two of the "events": ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 1st happened during the perseid meteor shower but it wasn't no meteor for sure. I took a friend/family member (Ray) out to Pomme De Terre lake at a place known as "Bolivar landing" to fish like we always did (use to until this incident ). I pointed out the constellations of Cassiopeia and perseus. As soon as I did, an object came out of space at an angle over the lake and "zipped" left/right about 6 times at an incredible rate of speed back and forth and then quickly returned back to space in a matter of a few seconds. We were scared. We grabbed our fishing gear and couldn't get out fast enough. I learned later there were other witnesses. What do I think it was ? I believe it was an object ( not one of Earth's) that took evasive maneuvers after getting caught in Earth's gravitational tug and orbit. The reason I think this is because it entered from the same point the meteors were entering which makes perfect sense (to me anyway ). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another incident happened during a cloudy night. The sky had just started opening up and I noticed many star-like objects that didn't belong spanning several constellations. They were of different magnitudes heading on a Westward trajectory. There were three witnesses during this. I don't feel this particular "sighting" was of E.T. origin. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Out of the thousands of hours I've spent skygazing over the years, there's only a few incidences that have stumped me. And then there was this one ---\ theedgeofreality.proboards.com/thread/1352/cliffs-experiences?page=3---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for sharing MDAISY. That must have been very interesting to see. Ya never know what's going to appear and when.

It always amazes me that with so many people watching the skies with telescopes..more sightings aren't reported. I would think coming in with a meteor shower would be a great camouflage unless you became one with one.

Your experiences remind me of my dreams (not remembered experiences). But I am watching the sky, looking at the constellations (I only know the easy ones - Big Dipper,Pleides, Orion, etc). Anyway the star slowly start drifting closer to each other. And then then drift down over my house and aren't stars anymore.
