There are no protocols being broken, bobbi. Travis is one of our favorite people and we would be happy to promote his book. Besides, I'm sure the boss won't mind.

Bobbi.. Travis will always be special with me. I have never spoke to the man. He saved me from losing my mind. I seen his story on the news stand in the grocery store, soon after his encounter.. Two years before I stood in a green beam of a ufo and lost four hours of time in the middle of the night. It was hard to talk to anyone.. And it was a couple of years later, when I pick up the inquirer I believe.
I had to show it to everyone, making my statement.. "See it has happened to someone else" I did not feel so alone.. up against so many friends and family.. who was trying to convince me I was crazy..
Snowflake, I can see the headline in my mind and how I felt.. even the checker at the store could tell something was wrong that day with me.. Most here believe Travis was abducted. I certainly count as one of them.. I kept my sanity and have found many more with the same experiences here..
thanks for your post.

daisy .. yes they are but travis was the first one who had an experience after me that I had heard about, There certainly were others. Allagash four also folowed my experience. I had known of the Hill case but never took it seriously until I was walking away from this craft. All that went through my mind was don't let the green beam touch you, as I just at that moment thought of the Hills and what they told on a TV show in 64.. It was now 72. I did have and experiencer with being trans ported in a car and dumped some where else in Sept 61. but never knew what it meant at the time. Louise and I heard the beeps also the night her car was transported. It is not so crazy anymore when something is understood. I had to wait a very long time for answers..

www.pr.com/press-release/352186 Press ReleaseLaredo UFO Conference Features UFO Abductee Travis Walton and UFO Researcher Noe TorresFor the first time ever, Laredo, Texas is hosting a major UFO conference, on November 5, 2011. The "Laredo UFO Conference" features internationally-known UFO abductee Travis Walton and also UFO researcher Noe Torres, author of "Mexico's Roswell." Laredo, TX, September 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Travis Walton, who tells the amazing story of being abducted by extraterrestrials and held captive for five days, will speak at the first-ever “Laredo UFO Conference,” on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Texas A & M International University, 5201 University Boulevard, in Laredo, Texas. In addition to Walton, whose experience inspired the 1993 hit movie "Fire in the Sky," the Laredo UFO conference will also feature UFO researcher Noe Torres, author of a new book called "Fallen Angel: UFO Crash Near Laredo, Texas." Also at the conference, the Laredo Paranormal Research Society (LPRS) will present its latest findings on UFO cases in the Laredo area. The Laredo UFO Conference is sponsored by the Webb County Heritage Foundation, and registration is available online at www.webbheritage.org. On the evening of November 5, 1975, 22-year-old Travis Walton was among a group of loggers in the mountains of northeastern Arizona that observed a strange, unusually bright light hovering over the forest. Overcome by curiosity, Walton left the safety of the loggers’ truck and walked toward the source of the light. He was suddenly blasted by an energy bolt of unknown composition. When his companions observed this, they fled in fear, leaving Walton behind in the forest. After the departed loggers reported the incident to local law enforcement, a massive search was conducted for Walton, but he was not found until five days later, huddled inside a phone booth, disoriented and confused. He later revealed that, after being struck by the strange light beam, he had awakened inside a kind of hospital, where he was surrounded by unusual creatures that were clearly not human. After spending time in this bizarre environment, Walton was rendered unconscious by his captors and returned to Arizona. Walton’s encounter is one of the world’s most studied and best known UFO abduction cases. He travels all over the world telling his story at UFO conferences and events. His appearance in Laredo is a rare opportunity for South Texas residents to hear first-hand the inside details of one of the most thrilling and well-researched UFO abduction cases. Prior to Walton’s appearance at the Laredo UFO Conference, author-researcher Noe Torres will present three lectures about other historic UFO cases. First, Torres will present “Fallen Angel: 1948 UFO Crash near Laredo, Texas." Then, he will speak on "The Real Cowboys & Aliens: UFO Encounters of the Old West." His last presentation will be “1955 UFO Crash on the Texas-Mexico Border.” CONTINUE READING: www.pr.com/press-release/352186RoswellBooks.com Noe Torres 956-802-3096

Without a doubt my least favorite Hollywood treatment of a very significant pillar case. Here is 'Fire in the Sky'. - the full film. It is a very good film print from You Tube.
One of my favorite actors, the consummate acting professional James Garner and wonderful screen writer Tracy Torme (son of Singer Mel Torme) do their parts well holding up their ends, but the production design of the UFO interior and the aliens is not even remotely close. Criminal really! Production designer Laurence Bennet 'did it'. As a result I so dislike this movie. I know Travis Walton is hoping for a new production that might get it approximately close if there is ever another next time remake. With you on that Travis.
A new production of the Hill's 1961 encounter is in the works with Betty Hill's niece Kathy Marden as adviser. Lets hope the lawyer/ studio/producers don't overrule her being irresponsible again to the material and spoil that production too.
My favorite alien abduction films? That can be for another thread.
Gee, do you think they will let me do the film intro spot on Turner classic Movies someday for this film? Not! I'm sure production designer Laurence Bennet treatment will likely see to the film not making the Turner classic film vaults anyway.
Enjoy, such as it is... (IMHO)

I always liked Fire in the Sky. It's one of my favorite UFO/alien movies. I do agree with you that the aliens and their space craft were pretty pathetic. It was no where even close to being accurate. I'm looking forward to the movie about the Hills. I hope it's not a disappointment like every other alien movie I have watched lately. I still haven't recovered from seeing that Fourth Kind flop.

If you have people who don't actually care about a subject as much as a budget you find sub grade props and scenes. Unless you are Spielberg and can afford Industrial Light & Magic..then you have something amazing. One of my most favorite things about Star Wars was the wonderful variety of aliens and ships and land transport and creative combat vehicles and forces. What a wonderful imaginative genius

And now is Star Destroyers are appearing here on Earth and abducting people. I wonder what caused Spielberg and Lucas to make those craft triangle-shaped? Were there any UFO reports of triangles back then? I'm going to have to look that up...

I doubt the triangles in Lucas Universe are related to the UFO reports directly. If anything, witnesses might associate after the fact having seen a star wars film first. I suspect the distinctive shape is both striking and distinctive for story telling only, and has a shape to distinguish between the other ships used by the rebel forces. Simply put - white hats = good guys, black hats = bad guys. ;D

Travis Walton discussed his dreams of blond humanoids that have occurred since his abduction in 1975. The dreams, he surmised, showed glimpses of what happened to him during his 5-day abduction aboard the UFO. He first saw 'marshmallow'-like beings wearing red jumpsuits, then a human-looking blond male came in, who had coarse blond hair, and strange gold eyes that might have been artificial. Later, he interacted with a group of similar-looking blonds. It's possible that the blonds brought him back to life, after his injury from the UFO's beam, he added. Some of this material along with additional illustrations is included in a new edition of his book, Fire in the Sky.

I'm glad some abductees are remembering if it is only in a dream. .. I would settle for that my self. I first wanted to know if I went up this green spotlight. As if I did not it may mean they did not get me.
Well I had a dream a few years ago about it, my second one to the only other one where I was in the circular room.
I always dream in color but this was in black and white. It starts where I feel I'm moving, and it is dark I look over to my right and there is my front porch below me. The beam I'm in is not green, guess maybe it was because I was not dreaming in color.
I could see the light I was in and the cone shape, but no craft at all as it was pulling me up backwards toward the ship. No G force at all, but something felt strange about my body. When I was lifted above my roof a few feet , I made myself wake up.
This I have never posted before I don't believe I have. I just refuse to meet this aliens in a dream. When the fear comes I want to wake up..
He states injury from the ufo beam. What kind of injury? I wonder about my brain today and what condition it is in, with the white lesions.

Lois - synchronicity big time. Read my lastest dream about being familar with the roof of my childhood home!
What did you do once awake and above your roof?
I wonder about my one sided migraines and my intensely unpleasant enhancement of taste and smell at those times. I once licked one drop of rain water off a cedar branch behind where I worked - it was very large and I assumed a "plant elder". The one drop suffused my whole body with cedar essence. I could taste it and smell it and it was overwhelming (I was migraining).

www.examiner.com/headlines-in-san-antonio/fire-the-sky-alien-abducted-man-to-speak-san-antonio-ufo-event January 25, 2012 'Fire in the Sky' alien abducted man to speak in San Antonio UFO event[/color] Jack Dennis San Antonio Headlines Examiner Texas UFO enthusiasts and researchers will have the opportunity to see and hear from Travis Walton on March 3, 2012 in San Antonio as he talks about, what some say, is the most documented case of alien abduction in history. Walton will recall the day of and after November 5, 1975 when he worked as a logger near Snowflake, Arizona. When he and the other loggers were driving home from work, they claimed to have encountered a UFO. In 1993, a Paramount Pictures movie, “Fire in the Sky,” was released based on Walton, who was part of a crew of seven men working for the forestry service on contract to clear trees and brush. The movie loosely follows their account of how Travis went missing for five days while he was abducted by aliens. Local law enforcement thought they were facing a murder investigation when suddenly Walton is found 33 miles away at a gas station. According to the Texas branch of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the south part of Texas in the areas surrounding San Antonio, the Gulf Coast and Valley currently have the highest sections of UFO activity. Also scheduled to appear at the March 3, 2012 event at 4630 Hamilton Wolfe in San Antonio are: Eddie Hill, a local paranormal expert. Hill is a sergeant for a San Antonio area police department and chief of Paranormal Analytical team. Angelia Joiner, the reporter known for breaking the well documented UFO sightings in Stephenville, Texas in January of 2008. Robert Powell and Teresa Turner will also provide information about the Stephenville sightings. I already have a ticket for the San Antonio meeting. It should be kind of cool if it actually takes place like it's supposed to. MUFON says if they don't sell enough seats they may have to cancel it. Those MUFON people better get their butts in gear!

www.ufodigest.com/article/interview-travis-walton-%E2%80%93-february-25th-saturday-night Interview with Travis Walton – February 25th (Saturday night)Submitted by Johanne Robichaud on Mon, 03/12/2012 You Have to Become Your Own Hero and Role Model After a wonderful meal at the end of the UFO Conference, I approached Travis Walton for an interview. He graciously said yes and we found a remote part of the resort that we could talk uninterrupted. Walton, 59, is a gentle man of average height and a head of reddish hair. We took two chairs and he leaned back putting both his feet up against a post. He seemed very relaxed and confident; apparently time and therapy has done very well for him. He has put everything into perspective and has come to terms with what happened to him. I was slightly nervous when I realized that I am speaking to someone who is considered one of the most talked-about and famous cases in UFO history! Driving through Florida state this month I found a DVD on Aliens and grabbed it right away. I noticed that the Walton story was on that DVD! I am mentioning this to point out how publicized the Walton case was. A lot of investigation went into the Walton case. The movie “Fire in The Sky” was made in 1993 about his UFO abduction that occurred in November 1975. Seven loggers go into the Arizona wood to work. What they saw that night astounded them and changed their lives forever. They found a UFO in the woods. One of the men described the sight as “a most beautiful light, I thought it was the end of the world”. All the men were in the 1965 crew truck driven by Mike Rogers, when Walton spotted a light behind the upcoming hill. Being curious he asked them to drive closer then he got out of the truck and went toward the light. As he approached he realized the light was coming from above, not the ground level…he hid behind a log in the brush trying not to be noticed. He tried to make a run for it back to the truck; a bluish green beam of light struck him and rendered him unconscious. Travis went down. The men, in fear of what would happen next, took off in the truck. Several hours went by before they went back to see what had happened to Travis. They were shocked to see no evidence or body…no signs of what occurred. The group began to panic as they were later questioned about the possible murder of Walton. Many of the men, were so overwhelmed they left the area and went to remote places. What was your response and the other logger’s response to you being abducted? As Walton recalls, “Steve ran from it, Kenny refused to be involved, John stepped up to the plate, Dwayne Smith went to Oklahoma…the guys took other jobs and went underground. My brother, Duane was a rock and supportive.” “Myself I lived in denial for years. I tried to live a normal life. I went back to logging. I would take my truck, my shotgun, cut firewood and just got on with it. I took a job at a paper mill too. I just wanted to get back to “normal life” as soon as I could.” Do you have any advice for “experiencers” that might help them with coming forth? Mr. Walton took a moment to come up with an answer, finally he said; “If you think it’s going to make you feel a lot better about what happened. Do it. Think ahead of what it will mean to your friends and family before coming out as it does affect them too.” Travis voice lowered and said, “My Sister and Mother were the most effected by my disappearance and reappearance. My brother, Duane, was strong for me.” What happened when you called your brother-in-law to come pick you up from the side of the road, in the phone booth? That part where he tells about the human like beings which had gold eyes. That freaks me out. My first born has yellow gold eyes ;D People always says how did he get those eyes. ;D Some times they will look pale yellow. with a few brown speck's in them. We have no other relative with his eyes. People do have yellow eyes, depends on where you look.
