It emerged yesterday that the Japanese returned almost $78million in cash found in the quake rubble. In the five months since the disaster struck, people have turned in thousands of wallets and purses found in the debris, containing nearly $30 million in cash. Amidst the rubble: Police officers in protective suits searching for victims after the tsunami hit Fukushima Prefecture in Minamisoma City in March More than 5,700 safes that washed ashore along the coastline have also been hauled to police stations by volunteers and rescue crews. Inside the safes officials found about $30million in cash. In one safe alone, there was the equivalent of $1,000,000. Other contained gold bars, antiques and other valuables. Japan’s National Police Agency said nearly all the money found in the areas worst hit by the tsunami has been returned to its owners. Most people kept bankbooks or land rights documents with their names and addresses in their safes. At one point, there were so many safes handed in to police that they had difficulty finding room to store them. Even now, Koetsu Saiki, of the Miyagi Prefectural Police, said a handful of safes are handed in every week. Impressive! What do you suppose they would be able to say about us if the tragedy happened in New York or San Francisco.....?

Impressive! What do you suppose they would be able to say about us if the tragedy happened in New York or San Francisco.....? Probably something like "Riots break out as people fight over a dollar bill that washed up on shore. Obama promises to raise taxes so that everybody can have a dollar bill. Tea Party blamed for dropping the dollar bill to incite the riots. Women, children and minorities hardest hit."

Actually, if the recents events in Joplin are any indication I think that people would behave admirably. I have faith in people. It's the government and the news media that I have a problem with. Politicians are not people.

Actually, if the recents events in Joplin are any indication I think that people would behave admirably. I have faith in people. It's the government and the news media that I have a problem with. Politicians are not people. I have a problem with the media and some politicians myself sky, and I cannot understand why the msm isnt addressing this radiation issue more than they are . Back in the 80's, when chernobyl blew, we were warned even here in the U.S. to avoid going outside especially on rainy days when fallout is mostly at its highest levels. So why arent we hearing it now ? Ive been watching the radiation levels daily along with live camera footage from fukushima and have witnessed first hand the emissions that are spewing from these reactors, and this isnt just a meltdown,,,, its a melt through, which is much worse !. Cover- up ? I highly recommend any and everyone to read this entire article---wikipedia- Santa Susana Field Laboratory---semi hills California and decide for yourself if there was a cover-up . Btw, this incident was the first nuke meltdown in the world, the first nuke plant in the U.S., and was 458 x WORSE than three mile island. One of the incidences happened in the 1950's and several more followed. A decades long cover-up continued for many years by the ptb and this site is still radioactive and thousands of pounds of sodium coolant are still unaccounted for. The entire thread mentioned is sickening, especially the way it was handled all the way through even into the 1990's, and even now. What were seeing with radiation levels from fukushima on some networks(although they help) with geiger counters still doesnt detect the alpha particles that were being exposed to. I have lost so much confidence with some higher powers and media,,, it sickens me and Im frustrated !
